All meditation and energy work is spiritual...dont need to be in a sect

Omei was a Taoist mountain before the buddhist came & also used it, there is still both buddhism chan & Tibetan as well Taoist temples. Yes you need to research as I mentioned & now pure truth.
-
If Daoist Monk resided at the Kwong Wai temple in Omei Shan than look into this you may find something, also it was said that a Goddess taught him so this also can be your spiritual connection?!
-
I have been told that it is very much a healing system, and as for spiritual you dont need anything but you and your connection with the one no need for qi kung. But let me say for me, all is Qi and all is connected its up to you to make it spiritual! We can only say that FP comes from Daoist Monk FDD, and he was Buddhist turned Daoist, so can it be a mixture or does it really matter?! I am not angry at all im trying to understand why u are frustrated and really sometimes the answer is right in front of you or inside usually. Buddha was said to gain enlightenment sitting under a tree, some others enlightened beings have there own story. Doing something that you love and gets results already is priceless, the more you but into it the more you defo gonna get out of it. Best to ask Sifu Terry what is contained in FP if it was taught one on one privately? All I can say that with SYG it has 72 meditations and it has its herbs, massage methods, gua sha, cupping with energy healing. I do know that FP also has its own herbal formulas or herb alchemy as for the others I dont know usually a kung fu Sifu learns the dit dar and healing so regardless of if its an internal system the kung fu system has its healing work.

Bak Fu Pai's Sunn Yee Gong-Q&A
Warrior Body Buddha Mind replied to h.uriahr's topic in General Discussion
Look nothing wrong with a standing meditation if you have an injury like your back and its easier for you, maybe you can sit in a chair? You can do both back to back... -
Ant, so you want to know if the FP comes with some type of Alchemy diagrams or sonnets?
-
I always said SYG has 72 meditations, whats your problem? Drop the attitude dude, who wants to answer someone that is like that?
-
What question have you asked me?
-
Well you are entitled to your own understanding if its right or wrong, maybe your better off with the quick quick as the kun lun mob would say and only has 3 levels? Slow and steady wins the race with me, maybe not you! Good luck in your training..
-
What is Dao Yin to you AS well Nei Dan?
-
Also questions he may not want to share not so much not like your question, not share as easy
-
What was your question?
-
Understood, whats your purpose for doing FP and or SYG?
-
Also I like to add Sifu Terry has shared so much with you and many here are not even his student you just bought DVDs on the practice, you know what I mean?
-
You both have valid points, Ive always said if the system resonates with you and makes sense to you on how the system/s have been made do it and do it well. Its ok to ask a teacher any question if he answers it or not his choice, also you may not get the answer you wanted sometimes. At one stage I did the same with GMDW he started teaching me just say SYG then I would have all these questions, he would simples say you do it and you tell me that frustrated me but also made me better at listening and researching my own body and all the theories of internal practice. When I "GOT IT" I would tell him and we would then talk all about the question and why I had this experience or that and he would also fill in blanks from that question that I knew I felt or had but in a different way. Dont worry what art or method is better, maybe you could also become better and make it better than the Sifu teaching as long as u stick with the principles and methods of the said system.
