Boddhidharma & Shaolin 18 Lohan Hands
Immortal4life replied to Immortal4life's topic in General Discussion
Hahaha, yeah that documentary is a classic and always a favorite. -
If this is true. It is an example of you caring more about your subjective values than beauty. This is just idealism and fantasy. Many people use spirituality as a way to avoid reality. The cold hard realities of life. They also like to use it as a way for them to feel special, as if they are "more developed" than "the masses". At the end of the day it just becomes someone living at lower, more beta male, level of existence, and instead of realizing that and working towards a more dominant and alpha male level of existence, they use their pop-spirituality as a crutch and excuse.

No I'm not. I'm not telling anyone what they should do. I'm telling you what all people innately recognize as beauty, and that is symmetry and order. Chaos on the other hand, is usually not beautiful. It is however interesting that physical attributes, are generally correlated to what is considered beautiful, and not just in humans. I am sure most people with a healthy functioning brain can see that a diamond is not only harder than a piece of coal, but also more beautiful. It goes beyond just what is a beautiful person, but what is a beautiful geometric shape- http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/16087351 http://videos.howstuffworks.com/tlc/29110-understanding-symmetry-and-beauty-video.htm No you are mixing up beauty and personality. 2 different things. "character" is simply a subjective value judgement that you are not able to quantify. It is just your opinion, and therefore irrelevant in a discussion with others. No Emos just lie to themselves. It's just like the nerd who says, "yeah well, I don't care about being cool" while he develops deep bodily and mental tension and dissatisfaction from being a beta male and social outcast that he will carry for his whole life. You can't control what is beautiful no matter how much you cut yourself lol Science proves it's not all in the mind. Beauty is an objective reality, whether it is a beautiful image, or a beautiful woman.

Sounds like they are kind, courteous, and polite. -
The biggest thing holding back humanity throughout the ages is ignorance. When we can remove the veil of ignorance and see reality for what it is, and not how we want to see it, and when we can eliminate idealism, subjective values, and societal conditioning, we can live a much more successful, winning, dominant, and free life.

No they don't, but it is a major factor. This is undeniable. Actually beauty can be quantified and verified as having objective existence. It's not just an opinion in each person's imagination. The first major factor in measuring what humans will consider to be beautiful is symmetry. A human will find a more symmetrical face more beautiful and an unsymmetrical face to be less beautiful. Watch the video, this is covered n it. In women it's been determined by research that the 3 most important factors in determining how beautiful, as well as sexually attractive, a woman is, are- 1. Hip to waist ratio. The waist must be in a certain proportion to the waist. This can be measured. 2. Freshness and youngness of skin. 3. Facial Symmetry. These factors have been proven to be the same in all human cultures, anywhere in the world. For example it is known that in Africa, the culture has made men inclined to prefer more curvy and voluptuous women, where in America often men prefer skinny model type women. However, whether you prefer skinny or voluptuous, the hip to waist ratio must be the same. There are other factors too, for example men don't like women with deeper, more masculine voices, they prefer higher and softer more feminine voices. Read it an weep subjective idealists- http://abcnews.go.com/blogs/lifestyle/2012/04/britains-most-beautiful-face-reveals-beauty-secrets/ and to get even more real- http://www.dailymail.co.uk/femail/article-1228135/Beauty-measured-tone-womens-skin-symmetry-previously-thought-say-scientists.html

Reincarnation- Toddler remembers fighting in World War 2
Immortal4life posted a topic in General Discussion
Children Remembering Past Lives Here is an ABC program investigating how in modern times 2 and 3 year olds are remembering detailed accounts of their previous lifetimes. One boy featured on this program remembers fighting in World War 2, and remembered details he simply shouldn't have been able to have known about at his age. He even remembered the real names of his fellow soldiers who fought with him. Even more interesting, there appears to be a link between illnesses and injuries, and past lives. Like someone who had been shot in the throat still has throat problems as a toddler in their new life. We must stop LOL from getting into the schools! LOL Oprah gets trolled- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=le4MklhIElI

Trolls are what make the internet work, or at least online forums. I think there are 3 phases to using an internet forum. First trolling, then inciting flaming, and after you have cleared out the chodes and weak warriors, you then can build forum topics in the manner you want to for the smarter and more open minded people to enjoy. Without trolling there would be no point in forums and posting would be extremely boring. It would be like watching a WWE wrestling program where no one hated each other, there were no rivalries, and everyone got along. Pointless. However, IMO forums are basically dead. Did you ever notice how hard it is to attract a younger hipper demographic to forums? IME most of the posters are still Gen X and Baby Boomers. That's why you get a lot of losers who just want to be skeptical about everything, or people who just want to push their personal values. It isn't true for all forums, but the vast majority of discussion forums have completely failed to attract a new younger demographic. It's even more sad when you look at a forum and all the users are the same people who were there like 7 years ago. The new up and coming people don't seem to want to have intense debates. They just want to get attention, talk about themselves, and pointlessly troll a bit without taking it anywhere. I think social networking has basically rendered forums irrelevant for the most part. This was fine back in the cool days, when only cool people were on social networking, like in the Myspace days. But once 8 year olds and 30 year olds got on it, it all went to crap.

You sometimes will see that there are people these days who always like to portray the past religions and past spiritual traditions in a negative light. They like to blame the stumbling blocks, limitations, and mistakes in human history on Spirituality and Religion. However, in reality humanity is simply growing and progressing over time. Ultimately, building on the foundations of the past, progress is always made, and greater and greater understandings towards a higher spiritual ideal are ultimately realized. 3 major paradigm shifts in Human History- http://childrenofthe...lisone-paradigm Glossary of terms for the new millennium and future paradigms- http://thegreatwhite...org/Amenti.html

Commonality among all Spirituality
Immortal4life replied to Immortal4life's topic in General Discussion
What a bleak view of the universe and existence. Of course there is constant spiritual evolution. All evolution is ultimately towards higher and higher understanding, experience, and existence. All vibration, everything that exists, eternally rises upwards, higher and higher, gradually, to higher expressions, throughout eternity. Not only does every being and every human develop over every lifetime, humanity as a whole, interconnected as one, develop and spiritually evolve, over time throughout the ages in history. Life and existence is not a cage! It is a creation, given birth to by each being experiencing it. The only limitation is in the mind, the mind is what traps itself, and creates illusions. This however does not mean it is useless, it is just backwards. It's just prone to ignorance. How is this corrected? Through higher understanding and higher evolution. Knowledge and Enlightenment is a vital component to evolution and ultimately extremely powerful when correctly applied. LOL! Did you even look at the website? It seems obvious and clear that website using the title "Great White Brotherhood" is using the term white to mean Goodness, Light, Spiritual, etc. as opposed to what some people call "The Great Dark Brotherhood" or what some also call the "Illuminati" or "New World Order", meaning Evil, Dark, Selfish, etc. Kind like how a Jedi is a warrior of light and a Sith is of the Dark side. It is not a KKK website or White Supremacy thing at all LMAO! -
Throughout the ages one common teaching can be seen to have been taught . The One God, the God that is All, that is the One totality of everything. Amilius- Edgar Cayce on Atlantis
