This show is sick. The finale of season 3 is intense. I really want to see what has been happening in season 4. Unfortunately I don't get FX, so I may end up having to wait until season 4 comes out on DVD. For some reason a lot of people like to compare SOA and Breaking Bad. They both are about characters who you love, but who do things you normally wouldn't cheer for. Season 3 of both series featured intense scenes of people being run over by a vehicle. Absolutely, I see the historical Jesus much more as the Essene Teacher of Righteousness, and the Jesus of the bible more as a story and myth.

One thing you will notice about the top ten of all time, is that first, many of them are moderators, so it makes sense that people would message them more and view their profile more, and second, they are mostly longer term members so of course the longer you have been a member the more chances you have had to get hits. They may also have large friend networks, so their friends could just be clicking their profiles in order to message them and stuff like that. Other factors I would look at in addition are... How many hits your profile gets per day, not just in total, but per day, per week, etc. Frequency of posting, how consistent is someone in their posting, per day, per week, etc. Frequency and amount of successful threads created. Forums need threads to be created, not just replied to. How many hits did each created thread get? How consistent is it? Lots of people can get lucky and create a popular topic that lasts weeks and weeks, and gets several thousand hits in the end. But how many hits does it get per day, per week, etc. Can someone consistently draw 100 hits a day? a 1000 hits a week? Can they be consistent over months? years? what? whatever they draw on the actual discussion forum, that could be looked at too.

Here is a great article about a very unique and high level form of energy art. The Art and Music of the Shipibo Tribe of the Amazon. It is a complete integration of high level vibrational energy, visual and geometrical art, music, chanting, and healing. One of the most mysterious spiritual practices, and one that is often misunderstood by westerners, is the practice of taking Hallucinogenic plants to aid in understanding the universe and nature. Most people know a little bit about beings like Jesus, Buddha, Lao Tzu, etc. but Shamanism can also be very interesting. The Shamans of the Amazon Rainforest have always known about the value of plants to aid in increasing their spiritual knowledge, and in attaining altered states of consciousness. I have heard theories that old meditation and Chi Kung practitioners, thousands of years ago, were very sensitive to the properties of plants, and using plants may even have influenced the development of their exercise practices and knowledge of the energies of the internal organs. There is even a theory that Jesus and his followers took hallucinogenic mushrooms to aid in raising their consciousness. In modern times a few "rogue" researchers have now begun to seriously investigate this phenomena. What has been discovered so far is very interesting. Throughout history, all over the world, the oldest pre-historic art is often found to be depicting a certain type of being. Beings that are half human/half animal hybrids. Not only do they exist in the most ancient Rock and Cave Art, but also in the legends and histories of so many ancient peoples, the Ancient Egyptians, Ancient Greeks, the Hopi, etc. So what does this mean?
