  1. Modern Research into Human Migration Patterns

Here is an article talking about what I mean. Science never proves anything- http://effortlessacquisition.blogspot.com/2004/10/science-never-proves-anything.html
  2. Take a Whiff of the Awesome Drug!

I have been so intrigued by this video lately, and am so intrigued by this awesome drug!

You get to choose how much you want to read and how much time you want to spend. You can choose whatever specific points you perosnally want to focus on. I think however, that ultimately I can only present information in my own way. I can't do it in anyone else's way. Different people like different things. For instance, there is a movement these days among some academic poeple, and especially younger people, the "Wikipedia generation", to want to read articles that just state things as simply and matter of factly as possible. They want the plaiin, dry, information. More and more people are starting to see anything with descriptive, imaginary, dramatic, mysterious, or beautiful language as being "rhetorical". Anything with any character is just "rhetoric" and "rhetorical" in their minds. I very much do not like this. When I read or learn about something, I still like there to be some fun, mystery, and imagination involved. I like to be enticed, and once I am interested and enticed in, I want big pay offs. I like things to be built upon. There certainly is some good evidence and logic out there that indicates pre-historic civilizations did exist. But the thing is, nothing can ever be proven 100 percent. This is why I always say, strong disproof can be much more powerful than strong proof.
  4. Global Revolution!

Where did I say change was common? I never said it was. In fact it is probably the most rare thing there is. Human beings can be the most unreliable, and fallible, beings. I can break down the concepts of fear and irrationality even further. What do they stem from? Consciousness. A certain type of consciousness, self consciousness. A seperate self consciousness, that is only aware of, and only focused on, it's own self. It is indeed sad, and frightening, to think about what the implications of this are on a planet with such an exploding population rate. If we want to look into what the future holds, it is as easy as comparing the population rate of the planet to the rate of personal change. This is why a lot of people just want to worry about today and band aid solutions.

It's just what I like and how I would like to see information presented if I was reading it. I like to give just a little bit, give some explanation, my perspective, but not too much. Then the citations and links can be like "Oh, I see what you are saying now". The second video shows a woman trying to make the controversial new genetic evidence fit into the most conservative and conventional scientific theories possible, as best she can. In the end, there are still objections and contradictions with her attempt to salvage the old migration theories. So there is a saying, "if you eliminate the impossible, whatever is left, however improbable, must be the answer". In scientific circles, when a major scientific theory has become no longer feasable, scientists of the alternative or newer theories will now say thiers are "the only game in town".
  6. Global Revolution!

Without a doubt Twinner has made the most important point in this thread. Taking up causes can be great, but there is indeed a much bigger picture. Real change can only come from within one's heart. Anything else is a band aid solution. The problem is that people don't like to change. It's not easy. They like to feel good, they like to "make a difference in the world", in their mind. They like to feel important. So suffering and injustice continues in the world, and abundance for all, all power for all, and all freedom for all remains a dream for most.

  10. According to Neil Strauss in the book "The Game", before Mystery began teaching there was only one credible pick up artist out there, Ross Jeffries. He claims he is a master of Neuro Linguistic Programming and Hypnosis. Clip of Ross Jeffries picking up a woman on BBC- His method is called Speed Seduction- http://www.youtube.com/user/speedseduction
  11. Watch Ross Jeffries use NLP to pick up women

I found the full video of the clip in the OP! http://vimeo.com/817276

Back again. Shady's back, tell a friend.
  14. Breaking Bad

Yes, watching from the beginning of season 1 is definitely best. It builds right from the beginning. The season finale of season 4 wrapped up a lot of story angles that had been built up for several years.

As explained in the post above, it would appear you are simply projecting your own personal issues onto me. In a discussion forum, it is inevitable that there will be differences of opinion. When that happens, the discussion naturally becomes a debate. A debate is not proselyzation. Pwnage is not proselyzation. In a debate, it is not up to one side to make a case for the other side. What is the "spirit" of the forum? Who decides that? I will not be posting regularly in the Pit. I am not willing to post with no moderation. My threads generate enough debate that people could easily turn it into a flame war. The "Value" of this forum is declining? How do you know this? what criteria are you using to determine this? In fact, the forum has expaned recently, with more subforums. That to me, if anything, suggests the forum isn't declining. But I don't really know, and am not sure how you could know that either. Secondly, even if the value of this forum is declining, and it is indeed losing hits, you have no evidence that I am helping this "downward decline" along. This thread itself got over 500 hits in one night. Moving it to the pit means more lost hits.
  17. DNA Evidence Rocks the Boat

I agree with this assessment. That is one level of truth. Jesus, it's not like I posted the confederate flag or anything. So far my posts have been called- I'd like to examine this further. What I have noticed, is that the group of people who usually have a problem with me seem to have some things in common. The first thing, they usually seem to be older longer term members. They pine for the good old days, and they have developed their own little virtual groups of friends. They have their own views about how people "should" discuss things. I'm sure they keep posts flowing in slow times, but they don't represent to me the main stream or average viewer. The second thing I have noticed, is a lot of peole who have personal problems with me, are people who have come out of bad experiences with religions or spiritual systems. Often they claim to have grown up in strict fundamentalistic christian houses, or grown up in apacalyptic cults, or to have been involved with many Gurus who they eventually came to believe were false or teaching an evil path. In these cases they are uncomfortable with my style, uncomfortable with initiative, uncomfortable with strong argument, and they project things from their past onto me.

Much evidence proves that not all humans originated in Africa, and certainly did not evolve from animals or a common ancestor of the apes- http://www.thetaobums.com/index.php?/topic/18633-peer-reviewed-research/page__p__261730__fromsearch__1entry261730 and- http://www.thetaobums.com/index.php?/topic/18634-human-anatomy-the-spiritual-perspective/

Edgar Cayce is the most documented Psychic in American history. He was known for predicting the time of the beginning and the time of the end of World War 2, he predicted an alliance between Germany Italy and Japan that would affect the whole world, the onset of the Great Depression 4 years prior, the assasination of JFK, the civil rights movements for racial equality, the earth changes of today and melting and shifting of the poles, the discovery of a chamber by seismographs underneath the Sphinx, the discovery of the Dead Sea Scrolls, he knew that the Nile had at one time flowed the other direction before scienctists knew it, and many other things. Edgar Cayce on race and equality, segregation, and predictions of the social upheavals of the 1960s. He said there must be one set of rules for everyone, and everyone must be equal- http://youtu.be/NXDeQMLxoEs?t=6m56s
  20. DNA Evidence Rocks the Boat

That article is about how that group views the evidence, and the readings of Edgar Cayce, that are presented in the OP! It is that groups view of Edgar Cayce and the specific research in the OP supporting his predictions.
  21. DNA Evidence Rocks the Boat

That concept is something different than what I am talking about here.

If this is accurate, then perhaps the authors did have their dubious reasons for the placement of any particular drawing. This does not have to be the case in the new context I am using it in. Positioning does not have to indicate superiority or significance here.
