There is a saying even among human beings.....95% of communication is non-verbal.....

I have seen animals control their passions, but I have not seen them conquer or eliminate them. Human beings are different than the animals in the sense that humans can separate from Nature, they can choose to act in ways not natural to their own nature. They can choose to act in ways other than their purpose and place in nature would dictate. When you start talking about one "race" eliminating another "race", it begins to sound like Colonialism, Social Darwinism, and Evolutionism. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ok32-Xvo2tk

I like this. It is indeed true that Nature is a very intricate and complex balance. I found this conversation interesting This Documentary illustrates the balance of Nature well- http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=4844687588840076520#

This is a great documentary by Ben Stein about the Intelligent Design vs. Evolution debate, and how anyone who supports intelligent design or investigates it in a scientifically valid way, is unfairly and unjustly fired from academic institutions. You also have to love how Ben Stein makes a fool out of Dawkins. When he gets Dawkins to admit that if the scientific evidence was strong enough to prove Aliens created life on Earth, that he would believe it and accept it, but if the scientific evidence proves a God created life on Earth, Dawkins would never accept it regardless of scientific evidence. Expelled- No Intelligence Allowed

I like Bill Maher and I liked Religulous, but I definitely consider Expelled to be a more substantial and serious Documentary.

What I'm really saying is there is not actually a need to say "I can't know anything when you take it to a high enough level and I should just give up on ideas like identifying or understanding things like Purpose in the Universe".
-
The "part" of reality that humans are immersed in as you say, is still "part" of the whole, "part" of the bigger picture. By understanding a part, you can expand on that part and conceptualize something closer to the whole. In a similar way to how examination of a single drop of water can tell you many things about the whole lake it came from. At one time people couldn't conceptualize the idea of galaxies, solar systems, atoms, or the universe. Now people can conceptualize much more than they could in the past.

When I first watched the video, my take on it was quite similar to yours.

I agree that many of those who came before, came to be examples. It is very easy to distort someone's teachings, but not quite as easy to distort the example they lived. There is a saying, we became great because we stood on the shoulders of giants. I believe you need some sort of path, to find your way. If you were going on a journey into the jungle, would you just blaze your own path, or would it be helpful to follow the paths of those who came before to one extent or another? Even better would be to have a living guide with you.

That was a cool post. +1

Yes, but why is there differentiation? Why are there separate beings? Billions of Stars? All forms of Life in one complete Circle of Life? Different concentrations of Qi? Why not one undifferentiated ocean of Qi? This is why I call God the Great First Causeless Cause.

What would be the point of so many great teachers coming to teach about God's "intentions"? In fact Jesus taught exactly this, he said "Your will be done Father, not mine, in me and through me" Not only can a Human being understand to some degree, but can live it, approximate it, follow it, feel it, be one with, and channel it. This is the Holy Spirit, Holy Ghost, the Universal Will, and the Universal Spirit. On Par with? The "purpose" of consciousness, of a complete being, is to be one with, to channel, Universal Will through their own Soul and Being. We are indeed the likeness and image of the Absolute, an individualized projection, a microcosm of the Absolute. We can manifest all the qualities from within ourselves that go along with that. In fact you have more qualities and abilities than just your self professed "feeble" human intelligence. Perhaps though at the moment even less developed than your intellect. We live in the real world. Matter is real. The Universe is real. It is not just a huge illusion born of Mind. Purpose exists outside of human beings, and outside of human comprehension as well. If we take this view we may perhaps develop in mind and awareness, but lack other aspects of being.

Indonesian Qigong Masters are more powerful than the Chinese

The people jumping back are acting for the camera. This is nothing new. Same old Yellow Bamboo, empty force, George Dillman, Lama thunderbolt stuff. -
Certainly there must be a simply enormous, large scale, almost Universal, Law of Evolution. However, the current "theory of evolution", does not incorporate anything like this. In fact, it "rules out" the principles of Mind and Soul. It does everything it possibly can to eliminate Consciousness, Universal Order, Purpose, or Meaning from the picture scientists try to conceive of for it. Soul I think is more than just essence. Energy and Life are the essence behind all physical beings in the universe, but the Soul is also the non-physical consciousness, order, and Attractive powers.
-
I would say the Soul is the inherent intangible qualities and consciousness behind material existence. The material shell or body is the expression of it's latent consciousness and qualities. The soul is what holds matter together through attraction as an individualized expression of Life and Mind. Therefore the Soul is closely linked to Mind, as well as the qualities of Life, Truth/Law/Order, and Love/Attraction. Therefore all things have a Soul, from the tiniest electron to the largest solar systems All of material existence is ultimately vibration. Vibrations continually rise. They get finer and finer, and raise to higher and higher levels of existence. They may have periods of quick development, and periods of slow development or even decline. They may go through cycles, but ultimately in the long run, even if it is 1 step forward and 0.9999 steps back, ultimately all things progress and rise higher and higher.
-
How do you know? You know that you have consciousness which controls your actions and influences your development, so are you saying your consciousness is the highest that exists in the Universe? In fact mind, consciousness and awareness, is a fundamental nature of existence. Everything has consciousness and a soul. From a mineral, to a blade of grass, to plants, to animals, to humans, to solar systems and the Universe itself. Is that so simple and meaningless? Remember, nothing in the universe is ever truly destroyed. Matter and energy are not destroyed. Mind and Soul are never destroyed. They are only transformed. If you look at the word Qi, some people interpret it as vapors rising. Rising, why? This to me indicates something much larger going on, the Law of Evolution in the Universe, which is that all Vibrations and all energies, continuously raise in frequency over time. So with this in mind, it becomes easier to understand why some things appear to not be eternal, and eventually are transformed. In order to raise in vibrational frequency, to higher levels of existence.

Still the sickest music, in any decade
Immortal4life replied to Immortal4life's topic in The Rabbit Hole
Then what is it if it's not music? It takes a lot of talent, resourcefulness, versatility, consistency, and adaptibility to have stayed on top for so long. It's Jazz, it's Funk, it's Soul, it's Rock n Roll. That's Hip Hop, and it ain't dead yet.- 45 replies

How did Humans and so-called Cavemen interact in Pre-History?
Immortal4life posted a topic in The Rabbit Hole
Most people are aware that in the past there existed what most people today call "Cavemen". At one time, some people believed Human Beings actually came from the so-called Cavemen. They believed they were literally our ancestors. Today it is known that they were not our ancestors, but rather, some existed side by side with , and at the same time, as humans. So the question to me becomes, if Human Beings like us today existed at the same time as "Cavemen", how might they have regarded each other? Here is a very interesting find. A Caveman Ape, or what some people have called a "Neanderthal" Skull, from 38,000 BC has been found with markings that indicate it may have been shot by a bullet. The implications of this could be profound, to find that human beings possessed firearm technology in 38,000 BC. Who shot Neanderthal Man?- http://forbiddenhistory.info/?q=node/7 Video- Info on the possible history of human and caveman interaction. A Neanderthal caveman ape 10s of thousands of years old shot with a projectile leaving an entry point and an exit point. Traces of lead and zinc found in it's sinus cavity. It seems this caveman was shot by a bullet! Other people have proposed that rather than taking place 38,000 years ago, the skull is more recent, and a Neanderthal existed in modern times.- Jack Cuozzo jackcuozzo.com Neanderthal Buried alive the startling truth about If anything, this can just go to show that neither evolution nor creationism knows much about how the past really was. -
He makes good points about how All of Nature is an intricate, interconnected, perfect balance, which can not ever be duplicated by artificial science without disastrous results http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=59qpfSPI9mM The Dawkins Delusion- lol

I'm afraid unfortunately there is currently a war between Spirituality and Science. For one thing, you cannot fully divorce Spirituality from Religion. In many cases, Spirituality is the original source of what eventually becomes a religion. Secondly, there is much controversy when it comes to science's views of Spiritual Experiences, Revealed knowledge, or anything along those lines. There is also controversy when it comes to so many things associated with spiritual beliefs, as well as religious beliefs. Ideas like having been reincarnated, how meditation really works, spiritual beings, near death experiences, A Universal Life energy animating the body, using plants or herbs to alter consciousness, are all surrounded in controversy. Religion is just based on faith and blind belief, but Spirituality is based on experiences, raising ones consciousness, principles based on certain views of how the natural world and natural universe works, etc. Science has problems understanding these things, so the real war will never be between religion and science, that war is dying and lost, the real war is Materialistic Science vs. Spiritual Science.

So, many people who are involved in any type of spiritual path or system, have probably heard the name Richard Dawkins. Although he has been around for a long time, promoting materialism and atheism, he really got a lot of attention a few years ago with his book entitled "The God Delusion". For this reason, he is most well known for his attacks on Christianity and Islam. However, what some people don't always realize, is that he and his fans, are opposed to all religion and even all spirituality. Anything that goes against his atheistic, scientific, and materialistic worldview, is simply superstition. Parapsychology, the idea of humans developing Psychic abilities, Astrology, Reincarnation, Alternative Medicine...have all been attacked by Dawkins and his fans. So what is your opinion of him? With that being said, here is my opinion......... Dawkins has no answer Hahahaha! Dawkins doesn't have an answer. That's because no mutation can ever add new genes. Also notice how he can't seem to look the interviewer in the eye when he gives his back-pedaling explanation. It's like he knows himself that his explanation is bs. He keeps looking down when talking, and looking away, It's like "yeah I really don't wanna be looking her in the eye when saying this" Raw footage More explanation, Polish geneticist Dr. Giertych explains why the amount of new genes and gene re-arrangement that it would take for evolution to occur, is genetically impossible- So it comes back to the same hole that has been there for years, that it's never been shown that there is any kind of genetic mechanism that would allow for evolution to progress to the point that it allegedly is supposed to have. A mutation is not a new gene, it is an altered copy of the same genes it came from. Gene duplication and mutations in the copy, does not equal new genes. Sure evolutionists will bring out all their weak examples of "new genes" and "positive mutations", like disease resistance over time, "underground mosquitos" that are still mosquitos no matter how much adaptation occurs, "peppered moths", "nylon-eating bacteria", Hela cells, Polyploidy, and all the rest. Bottom line is none of these can provide a genetic mechanism that would allow evolution to take place, for one animal to become another animal, and they have all been debunked as such. One type of animal becoming another type of animal has never been observed, only becoming a new variety of the same species. There is no known mechanism known to science that would allow for new genes completely full of new genetic information, and complete re-arrangement of genes, it is not genetically possible. Evolution can't be proven in the lab or be observed to take place, so they fill it in by saying, well in millions of years anything can happen! There are no observed instances of speciation- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rcJ6cEy2W0E Anti-biotic resistant bacteria-
