As to the "church"... they are the antithesis of anything that could ever be described as a religion of love. As to the talk of the great pyramid and Egypt... Check this out: http://www.ancient-world-mysteries.com/tesla.html

Hi Marblehead and Manitou! You are both very much appreciated. I enjoy pretty much all you've contributed in both threads. It is members such as yourselves that help to keep the rest of us on a track that keeps us coming back to where the Tao really is. Inside all of us.

the most powerful thing water or an idea?
strawdog65 replied to mewtwo's topic in General Discussion
Wow! Great Idea for a post! I say it is the embodiment of the IDEA that WATER represents within the context of human thought and civilization. Throughout history there have always been references to flowing as a means of mastering any discipline. Flowing is a WATER based reference. Taoism is greatly based on just such an IDEA. I would theorize that the IDEA of WATER within the mind, creates the seed to fight against being controlled by both religious or societal means. Interesting .... -

Hi Manitou! Very insightful, meaningful post. I appreciate your follow through with post all of these important verses from this work of philosophical art. Judgment..... and expectation of others, there lies the road to ruin. Our judgments and expectations are assinine in the grand scheme of things. Like one gnat putting another down for buzzing too loudly. Humans consider ourselves to be incredibly important, but does this pride help or hurt? Does the indentification of the self saying "I" am this or that do anymore that become another layer between us and true Tao? Thanks again Barbara!

Just got done reading about this on this site. http://www.enterprisemission.com/Phobos.html Imagine if this is true. An ancient, hollowed out, non natural object, within our own solar system. Just waiting for us to "discover" it. A Russian probe is due to arrive in 2012.

Phobos, moon of mars, is a spaceship?
strawdog65 replied to strawdog65's topic in General Discussion
Hi Manitou! Yes! The moon is 30% hollow, and from the data from the ESA probe, the hollow is divided into sections. They also state that(not sure how they know this)there is gas or atmosphere within the hollow areas. Seems like it's a slow motion disclosure going on. The Russian probe due there in 2012 has a mission to visit and return with samples. They (the ESA) have already acknowledged that this "moon" is by all standards not natural in either its being hollow, or it's orbit, which should have decayed within something like 11 million years, being as close to Mars as it is orbiting. So orbitally, it makes no sense for it to still be there, it should have collided with the surface of Mars a couple of billion years ago. Then there is the outgassing that has been detected since the previous 1989 Russian probe flyby. Deimos the other Martian moon is exhibiting the same outgassing. There is conjecture that both Deimos and Phobos were moved into their present positions within a recent geologic time frame. Buzz Aldrin has shown up talking about Phobos in the strangest places. When he was on "dancing with the stars" he interjected that Phobos was the most important place for humans to go. There is a lot of info on this from Richard Hoagland. Maybe it's just BS, but that would be damned cool if we found an ancient relic of a hollowed out moon/ship. Just imagine if there is any technology within that moon. All I can say is Wow! -

Your opinion is based on my one post. Maybe you should find out more before judging someone you know nothing of. If you believe we are doing "relatively fine" then there isn't much to be said, other than go back and join the other sheep. I don't wish to be cold to you. But ignorance truly is bliss. -

Do you think we are Alone in the Universe?
strawdog65 replied to Immortal4life's topic in General Discussion
I understand your view. I understand it because I too once held back my thinking of what if? Once you realize that what we know, and what is the possible truth of a situation, it will always be far stranger then we can normally imagine. Imagine though, if you will, a life form that can assume any shape it wishes, be it through mind control or whatever. Lets say this life form comes to earth millennia ago, perhaps to study, perhaps to influence, what we really can't say. Maybe just an experiment. Anyhow, any technology sufficiently advanced beyond the culture witnessing that technology, would in fact think it to be magic or perhaps a miracle.(originally said by Robert L. Forward) The story of Jesus and other christ-like figures, many going back throughout recorded history, all demonstrated some super natural ability. If the stories are to believed, there is probably a simple explanation to answer the question of who these people were and how did they manage to do what they did? Look into the Anunnaki from ancient Babylonia. The creation myth. There is an amazing amount of information, if your mind is open to it, that not only supports the evidence of extra-terrestrials having visited here, but of having control of the populace. Sometimes it is our minds trying to stay within our own interpretation of what is reasonable, that prevents us from understanding the shocking truth that the evidence supports. We live on a planet that we are bound to. Being bound to one world, unable to provide for ourselves properly, unable to prevent our own self destruction, unable to caretake and preserve the very world our lives are intertwined with. What makes you think any advanced culture from another world would see us as anything other than dangerous...and needing to be watched when we behave... or prodded in a certain direction when we do not? We are a speck in a cosmos of giants.
