  1. Energetics and Wisdom Teeth?

I had never had mine removed, although it was highly recommended. I guess it would depend somewhat on your vanity though.
  2. Your guys thoughts on Ron Paul?

The thing that does it for me is the fact that the BIG BUSINESS now seems to be synonomous with politics. The oil spills for instance, and the continuance of the drilling. These businesses have more say in who is elected than anyone. Everyone of the presidential elects last term was found to recieve money for campaigning from oil companies. Big companies are allowed to pollute our earth as long as they pay money for it. These things need to stop, I feel the only way to remove the corruption entangled within the weave of government is by reducing it down to size and making it transparent. Sure, it won't be easy, but it is up to us. Otherwise we are simply allowing it if we are not resisting or trying to change it. Has our reliance on oil really changed much in the last few years? So many companies have been bailed out and propped up by the government. Why? Why are billions of dollars printed out each year, reducing the value of each dollar that you worked so hard for? Dollars are simply paper and ink and are useless without something to back it. We give the Federal Reserve the right to print out as much money as it deems, effectively stealing money from the rest of the populace. This direction does not lead anywhere good IMO. Something big has to change if we are to conserve the earth and set a efficient foundation for the children who will inherit the earth in the future. Anyone else that we elect is going to result in more debt being accumulated (imo) until we are eventually bankrupt.
  3. Your guys thoughts on Ron Paul?

Do you think that when he says the things like eliminating the Department of Education, Department of Energy, etc . . He is referring to relinquishing the governments control over these things, so that the free enterprise can pick it up in the more efficient manner? I feel that if buisnesses were less concerned about thier profit margins and focused more on making a sustainable company, with quality and lasting products, we would be better off in general. There are lots of not-for profit and for profit company's that would be more than happy to fill these voids and they would have to compete with eachother so that the consumers gets a good deal. Especially with the internet and our access to competitors of any given products. Also he proposes to keep the Social Security for the elders who have a vested interest in it, and make a transition away from it, not completely cutting it off.
  4. Your guys thoughts on Ron Paul?

You must also realize that all of his propositions wouldn't make it to law. I do see how it is a bit extreme in some instances. I would vote for freedom at any cost. His freedom is actually profitable to the USA as opposed the the budget cuts from the Republicans and Democrats that would put us in to a debt of either 19 or 20 trillion dollars over 8 years.
  5. Is Bio-energy Qi (chi) ?

It can be. Chi and Qi is a very broad term. Have you noticed any resonance in the waves that were measured? Welcome to the forum!
  6. Good Karma + Bad Karma = ?

"However, I am of the opinion that saying "there is no self" is probably less wrong than saying "there is a self", " Yeah, that's the hard part. I tend to side the other way slightly. Truly they are equal. I too was raised to be christian, and baptized even. I think that metta is what sways.
  7. the highest masters are not in asia

Not for me to say, you would know if that were the case.
  8. Good Karma + Bad Karma = ?

It simply means both are true and false. There is a self and there isn't a self. So how could there only be no-self? I know I may sound argumentative right now, but I am just trying to see your point of view.
  9. Good Karma + Bad Karma = ?

http://www.accesstoinsight.org/lib/authors/thanissaro/notself2.html "In fact, the one place where the Buddha was asked point-blank whether or not there was a self, he refused to answer. When later asked why, he said that to hold either that there is a self or that there is no self is to fall into extreme forms of wrong view that make the path of Buddhist practice impossible." It wasn't coined "The Middle Way" for nothing.
  10. Good Karma + Bad Karma = ?

I would never change my position on that. I know what nothing is and I know that is not totality.
  11. Good Karma + Bad Karma = ?

No-self is a pointer for those who are ready to see through the illusion of the ego and find the true self. People often get lost in the paradox of this, which is why I feel that it is better to start the root and piercing chakra's from the bottom up instead of the top down.
  12. Good Karma + Bad Karma = ?

I think that the unique aspect of pure love is that it is truly unbound.
  13. I personally feel that all teachings have wisdom. It is up to you to sort it out! I personally think the east has more evolved teachings because it has been around longer. Although at times it doesn't evolve much and is simply rehashed from the past. I haven't looked much into hermetics so I can't say from that perspective. I would read some of each and then pick out what I find to be true, then I would ask others what they thought about a particular idea that I wasn't certain of, so that I might further my own understanding and resolve on the matter. What can you tell me about hermetics?
  14. the highest masters are not in asia

Just a thought. Maybe the master's can't teach you because you are at a point where you must choose for yourself. Like which door?
  15. Good Karma + Bad Karma = ?

This is similar to "nothing is everything and everything is nothing". The outcome is still nothing, however you slice it and combine it. So let's say that the bad karma or negative energy would over-ride the positive energy or good karma. If so bound.
  16. the highest masters are not in asia

Yeah, I was looking into a ticket to tibet a while back, but it's out of my price range for now. The "highest masters" would have to be on a mountain, elevation wise. hehe.
  17. Energy Vortexes on the Earth?

That is funny you should mention that. I have been watching this documentary by the History channel called Ancient Aliens Marathon. http://www.justin.tv/downtherabbithole#/w/1120870320/9 Pretty interesting no-matter what side you take, imo.
  18. Energy Vortexes on the Earth?

The tree has a bit of a vortex to him
  19. Energy Vortexes on the Earth?

Do you guys feel that the ley lines play a part?
  20. I personally do not have autism, but my cousin* does, and so does one of my friends.
  21. We are all more the same than we are different. It's in our DNA. That label is simply a way for society to describe your uniquness, and vaguely at that.
  22. The 6th element

I have been correlating my chakra's to elements and attempting to define them through reflection and experience. In doing so I have discovered that there is a form a chi for each element and each element has a center in us. The lowest is Root, which is the element of earth. The next one is the Dan Tien, (navel) which is the element water. The third one is fire, which is the solar plexus chakra. The fourth is heart (love), which is the heart chakra. The fifth one is wind, which is the throat chakra. Now comes the sixth element. Which this has been evident to me for a while although not brought to the forefront of my thinking. The sixth is electricity (energy), which is directly related to the third eye or brow chakra. This is a bit more complex and also includes that crown chakra which this energy exists in its infinite. Questions, comments and concerns are all welcome.
  23. The 6th element

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Halahala This is the significance of the blue color. Halāhala (Sanskrit ą¤¹ą¤²ą¤¾ą¤¹ą¤²) is the name of a poison (as per Hindu mythology) created from the sea when Devas (Gods) and Asuras (Demons) churned the sea (see Samudra manthan ) in order to obtain Amrita, the nectar of immortality. Fourteen different ratnas (gems) were recovered in this exercise mostly retained by Gods after Demons tried to cheat them. But before Amrita were recovered, Halāhala ("the most vicious and venomous poison of universe") was produced which started killing both sides. As no one could bear the poisonous fumes emitted by the poison and both Devas & Asuras began to collapse due to asphyxiation. They ran for help to Brahma, who looked for advise to Vishnu. Vishnu said that only Shiva could digest the deadly poison. So both parties, went to Kailasha and prayed to Lord Shiva for help. Shiva chose to consume the poison and thus drank it. His wife Parvati, alarmed, stopped it in his throat with her hands thus earning him the name Viį¹£akaį¹‡į¹ha (the one who held poison in his throat). The poison made his throat turn blue. Hence he is also known as NÄ«lakaį¹‡į¹ha[1] (the one with a blue throat). Gosaikunda lake is believed to have formed from the digging of the land by the Trishul (holy three-pointed spear, similar to the western trident) of lord Shiva. As after he drank the poison, he desperately wanted cold water to quench the thirst generated due to overwhelming heat of the poison.
