  2. The Venus Project

"If you wish to learn more, there is the site of the Venus Project, there is Zeitgeist: moving forward that goes deep into the subject. For people who are skeptical about such huge changes to the economy and politics, there is Zeitgeist Addendum." Make sure that you go the right right site! http://www.thezeitgeistmovement.com/ I bought their t-shirt, You get something and it goes to a good cause

    Niether are either or.
  4. You would connect to the same energy, but what would make it theirs?
  5. I think initiation would require one to accept another as a teacher. Awakening is a broader term.
  6. Nothing contains everything, as everything contains nothing.
  7. Nothing and Everything

LOL, yeah it does seem to be from the perspective that everything is everything. Best way to satisfy the scientifically inclined.

  11. Nothing and Everything

I fallow this thought and it brings me to a gate, similar to the satori I had experienced once before. Feels like my ears are going to pop. I can feel the gravity of it's presence. Everything and nothing are the opposite polarities. Nothing generally overrides everything, when used together. Not with this. It seems to be neutral. Although the gate feels very similar as the gate of non-existence. You got to agree with your buddhist friend because your one is everything, regardless if it is non-existence or existence. The perspective appears to be the same, but I don't think it has to be the same. Example: if you are one with non-existence, then everything is nothing and nothing is everything. If you are one with existence, your everything is only everything. They exist side by side, but not combined. The closer you are to existence the farther away you are from non existence, and vice versa. The zero point must be neutral to encompass both. Then the polarity becomes obsolete, as it can encompass both non-existence and existence. Then it breaks down to the matter that Nothing contains everything, as everything contains nothing. Then you are both and niether at the same time.
  12. Nothing and Everything

Hi! nice to meet you. I think it is lovely
  13. Nothing and Everything

I found that saying that nothing is everything and everything is nothing, regardless of order, always end up negative(nothing), So I was thinking of a way that this statement could be balanced.

  15. How to Awaken

No I did not write all of that myself. I did write some and the majority of it was gathered and compiled. All of this information can be found for free on the internet and falls under the free use catagory. The links that the information was gathered is listed within the context.
  16. How to Awaken

Johnny, Sorry for the confusion, I mean that you inhale deeply, hold for a sec or two, let it out slowly, then rinse and repeat. You can also add counting in, if you find your mind especially likes to wonder.
  17. How to Awaken

"This is an interesting account, and great to see that you have opened your energy. I feel a need to comment on this from a Daoist perspective: Firstly, consiously moving energy up, either solely through the spine or with assistance of the chakras is an overy intent-based,and thus willful approach to internal energy. For the uninitiated this is tempting, since you feel you can work your basically spiritual energy with personal will and persistence. This has many inherent risks. Secondly, moving energy up towards the head, and overheating the adrenals/kidneys in the process is imbalanced and potentially draining for the essential water of the body, and could also lead to systemic problems. Thirdly, as you mention late in the text, such processes should be lead and guided by close contact with a teacher that actually knows how the body and mind responds, and not just has awakend his kundalini. Last: There really is no need to go through the whole ardous kundalini process, as almost all, if not all of the "signs" of kundalini are indications of energetic friction, not purification. If these signs are strong, there is only indications of lack of foundation in basic internal practice that will fasciitate the opening up of the du and ren channel. You are truly ready to move energy this way when it happens spontaneously, and your energetic pathways are tuned, your emotional and physical blockages are out of the way, and the body ligbt of the skeletal structure has gone through a process of alignment. Without this foundation, you riks getting your energy stuck in the head, leading to kundalini psychosis, and doing energetic harm to your system with long term effects. There is no need to raise your "kundalini" to awaken. What you "attain" is an experience, not a stablized realization of your true nature. Its something to attach to. My own teacher stresses the point that when the system is ready for energetic transformation, the energy moves all the way up, and then down again, naturally. Whatever system you practice, if you "do" it, its not leading anywhere in the long run. I write this with all due respect for your own experience with you practice. h" Thank you for the criticisms, as well as info that could be important to others. I am putting this here for no other reason that people may have a resource and the truth without having to pay someone for it. I personally didn't have any side effects, and I had gone about it as haphazardly as is claimed to be possible. Maybe what you say is true, and even though I have no way of knowing with certainty, I did try to include the possibilities that I am aware of and have been told of. A teacher is not necessary for everyone to complete this process. My personal awakening was in ignorance, and it began by a book by Drunvalo Melchizedek, entitled "The Ancient Secret of the Flower of Life" Volume 1 and 2. I did not have names for all that I have felt, and have spent years searching for similar experiences, that I might better understand my own. The most prominent thing that I felt upon awakening was the tingling intuition of the pineal gland, I did not know it was my pineal until later research. What I did know is that I would get a tingling in my forhead, sometimes with an Idea that I had no way of knowing, that would prove to be true. The energy I now know as chi, was another thing that I had felt. It came in waves and coursed throughout my body. I eventually found that I could callon this, but had no Idea what it was. My awakening was in ignorance, and much of the time I spent trying to find out what I was feeling could have been better spent on purifying the chakra's. This is another reason that I decided to post this. So that others that may have these experiences, might find similarities as well as names. I do respect that many here feel that one should allow it to happen naturally, although my experience is not akin to it. Without 1st hand knowledge I almost feel that it could simply a reason for some to make money from the truth. If this is true, then shame on you! This information is not for anyone to sell, it is not belonging to anyone. I can not say for certain one way or another, I know my path, and I know that it is possible. Everyone is different, so there very well could be truth to what is said, about having a teacher to help you. I consider everyone here to be a teacher, and plenty of resources, I am sure if someone comes to a point, that they can use the collective knowledge of those willing to share, to guide them along thier way. Thanks for metioning some safeties that I may have missed devoid. I beg every to please add to and or critique this work for the greater good of all. With love, -Justin
  18. How to Awaken

How did others awaken? I only know my path, but I am curious of others.
  19. Understanding energy experiences

Dear Andy, I am hesitant to say that you are awakened and are experiencing chi. I think your kundalini is trying to make his way up and is encountering a blockage. I also can feel heat in my chest when I focus there, although there are more steps that you may want to consider before focusing so much on your chest. The best guide one can have in this journey is that of intuition. To awaken your intuition the kundalini must rise to the pineal gland. Once this is done, you will be able to focus your energy (with practice) to any point. There are two centers in your chest, one is the solar plexus the other is your heart chakras. The fire is rellevant to the solar plexus, which I have just begun to work with. 1st I did Intuition, then Heart, then Dan Tien (Navel). Here is a picture that may help you to understand better. The idea of awakening is to get kundalini to the Third Eye. If you have arrived to the 3rd point (solar plexus) without any guidance that is very good indeed. You should work on meditating and willing the ball of energy to rise. Tongue to the top of your mouth, deep fast inhale though the nose, and a slow exhale out the nose. You should also be aware of the safeties. I personally didn't use these, although people have said this promotes an awakening without side effects, you can find them here: http://www.kundaliniawakeningsystems1.com/the-safeties.html I do like what they are saying, besides I feel they left out something in the prayer reccomendations. When they say to choose a god, you can also use the Greater Self, Great Awareness, or Collective Conscious. Good luck to you!
  20. Pointing at the Moon

I recall a buddhist story about the reflection of the moon in a pail of water, until the bottom fell out of it. Here it is, from a Zen Koan. Zen Story: Chiyono Jan 24, 2011 Connie Delaney Buddha Statue - Ananta Bhadra LamichhaneNo more moon in the water: a Zen story from ancient tradition that teaches us about enlightenment. A Zen story is different from a Zen koan. A Zen story takes the practitioner through an event in the life of a Zen Master that teaches a lesson. This is a very unusual Zen story because it is about a woman teacher. Chiyono was a nun in Japan in the 13th century. This is what is brought down through the years to us. The Story The nun Chiyono studied for years but was unable to find enlightenment. One night, she was carrying an old pail filled with water. As she was walking along, she was watching the full moon reflected in the pail of water. Suddenly, the bamboo strips that held the pail together broke, and the pail fell apart. The water rushed out; the moons reflection disappeared and Chiyono became enlightened. She wrote this verse: This way and that way I tried to keep the pail together, hoping the weak bamboo would never break. Suddenly the bottom fell out. No more water, no more moon in the water emptiness in my hand. This is one of my favorite Zen stories. It is about a woman, in ancient times, who was searching for enlightenment. That was an unusual thing in itself. A woman searching for enlightenment. Chiyono had to really work at it. None of the monasteries would let her in: her beauty, her female body, would have disturbed all the rest of the monks. So Chiyono burnt and scarred her whole face and body so that you couldnt tell if she was a man or a woman. Then, the monastery let her in. Chiyono was total in her search - but she still could not find enlightenment. She studied for years and self realization eluded her. Then one night she was carrying an old pail filled with water. She must have been in meditation. In a Zen monastery meditation is not a thing done only with the eyes closed. The monks practice walking meditation, working meditation. The whole day is spent in meditation. The monk remains as aware as possible the whole day. Chiyono was aware as she was walking along. The pail was filled with water and she was watching the reflection of the moon. I can just imagine the water rippling with little waves as she moved, causing the reflection to shimmer and dance. It was very beautiful, but it was not the moon itself, it was the reflection of the moon. The beauty of it must have captivated Chiyono so that she did not notice the actual moon, up in the sky. Suddenly! The strips holding the wooden pail broke and the pail fell apart. Instantly the water was gone, the reflection of the moon disappeared and Chiyono became enlightened. She wrote the poem printed above telling of her experience. This is a strange and beautiful thing. This story has come down to us through the centuries because Chiyonos experience is so symbolic of enlightenment itself. It can be told a thousand times. The pail of water is like our minds. We carry it with us wherever we go. It is always filled and brimming over with thoughts. Most of us are not in a Zen monastery doing walking meditation. Most of the time we are probably not aware of our thoughts. Our minds are like a weight we have been carrying our whole lives. We dont realize our minds are simply a reflection of life, not life itself. It is like Chiyono carrying the bucket and watching the moon, forgetting that the real moon is up in the sky. Because of our minds we see the whole world like the reflection of the moon in the water. We dont see reality; we see only the reflection as it is filtered through the mind. Strangely we think we are seeing the real moon. The reflection of the mind, like the moons reflection shimmering in the water, is often distorted. Chiyono was walking along and her mind was walking along with her, interpreting everything she saw - just like the reflection in the water. But she was aware because of her practices with meditation. Suddenly, the pail broke. The water rushed out, the moons reflection disappeared - there was nothing. Within her, within her awareness, the straps holding her mind broke - just like the bamboo holding the bucket. Without the straps the mind was gone and the reflection was gone . There was nothing. This was Chiyonos enlightenment. Enlightenment is always sudden. It does not come in degrees and stages. It comes, suddenly, all at once as it came to the nun Chiyono. Even if it appears gradual, with a practitioner growing in wisdom over decades, the actual breaking of the mind happens in an instant. When enlightenment is realized, it is complete, total. And it comes all at once, completely. When the water is out of the bucket the reflection is gone at the same time. Without the straps to hold it together, it is all gone. There is no such thing as partial enlightenment, or just about there. She wrote, This way and that, I tried to keep the pail together. Chiyono's poem is quite beautiful. She is saying something that is very true about an experience common to all people. The straps holding the bucket are under great tension from the weight of all the water. Just like the straps on the bucket, it takes great effort to hold the mind, to hold the ego together. We work constantly with this-misery and that-misery: we create this-problem and that-problem: we search here and there for help: we fuel our minds constantly and spend all our energy justifying our effort and holding it together. Carrying all this water is a tremendous work that we must be constantly engaged in: always under tension, like the straps holding the bamboo pail together. Suddenly - just for a second - the mind stops. The straps break. The justifications shatter. The misery drops: and it is all gone. No more water. No more moon in the water. No more mind, no more reflections in the mind. Emptiness in my hand. If this happens to a person, suddenly he knows as an experience that he is not the mind. If, in this moment, he takes a step back, and notices who is having this experience, the discovery is the entire universe. The mind dissolves, the universe is there. Its self realization. The emptiness is the fullness of being: the joy of experiencing the real moon. http://www.suite101.com/content/zen-story-chiyono-a330052 Although I don't like that it say's "The emptiness is the fullness of being: the joy of experiencing the real moon." I would say that existence is the fullness of being. Although not the illusion of the existence.
  21. How to cultivate more YANG enegry?

I have heard that Cilantro can help to cleanse the heavy metals from your body and even flouride from the pineal gland (where it has been found to accumulate) I now only use baking soda and mouthwash to brush my teeth. I have just started using Cilantro, so I am unable to confirm if is in fact clearing my channels. http://www.fluoridealert.org/health/pineal/
  22. LUCIFER ON KUNDALINI

"Which microcosmic body is Lucifer?" Of the negative with manifestations in neutrality. Assuming the 3rd is that of neutrality. I feel that you have things to teach us
