Hi Flowinghands, I have a couple of questions if you don't mind. What is XYP? So how did you become immune to delusion? And how can you be certain that you have when you have?

If you stop the mind, pure awareness reigns supreme, the heart of being. (Hope you don't mind I changed your to the)

So, I had posted some content here previously . . .
Dagon replied to Dagon's topic in Forum and Tech Support
No, look at my post count and then search my posts. I made an original post about tree's ability to ground energy and I was going to add to it, but I can find it. I remember Zerostao was telling me about Bagua in that thread as well. Ok thank you! Archiving old posts is logical, but there should be a way to view them by the user impo. (It wouldn't be that hard to program in such a button/option) -
I would like to know where you guys are getting this from exactly, the translation and the original verse, because it doesn't coincide with any truth that I have learned. It seems like a translation error, that was pointing at "wanting" more than will. IE; if you are not born a sorcerer, then you will never achieve anything according to your philosophy, (In my opinion as an analogy.)
-
How do you will something without willing it? What are you doing when you are practicing and why are you practicing if you have no intent for anything? I'm confused. I think that some may have a natural ability to achieve, like sorcerers are born and mages are made. You can't tell a sorcerer to not use will because that would be a travesty, being that is the greatest attribute the sorcerer has. To me that would be like saying to an artist that he cannot draw or paint, or an inventor that he cannot create. (P.S. these are analogies) Look, there are multiple perspective, you only have your personal path to look from, directly. So you can't necessarily say that what is best for one or two is best for all. That is a dogmatic approach and really irks me that so many here would be so inconsiderate of other perspectives and views. I thought the Tao was accepting of varying views, and if you are to represent the Tao I personally feel you are doing a poor job of it, and It makes me feel sad. Would you really have told the Buddha to not seek enlightenment, or Ramana Maharishi to not seek samadh, etc,..

i have reached to a conclusion, there is no such thing as LOVE
Dagon replied to nine tailed fox's topic in General Discussion
I personally think that idea's or concepts of what love is, is not what love is, because love seems to beyond thoughts or what you can think. The clinging sort of love causes pain because you attach strings to what you think it means too love, but love at the basic level doesn't require strings, that is non-clinging love, and it is free! It is called metta in Buddhism, Inner Smile in Internal Alchemy, and the Hindu's or Yogi's call it Krishna, or God. The Christian even teach about it (or point to it) -
Me, I'm made of sand, Awareness reigns at the core, I am not my thoughts.

I found that ス is graphics in Japanese, but it doesn't have the line on top. Maybe I'm just looking for meaning where there isn't any. Do you see the E. coli doing the ouroboros and making an infinite symbol? Thanks for the help ChiDragon, you are so very kind.

Thank you for sharing that with me fulllotus. I did not know that. I did end up breaking open the rock (got really heavy had to carry like a mile), and there were some crystals streaked around on the inside of it. But it was just small veins of them, Now I'm thinking I should have kept some of it. But I don't know what are crystals good for even, lol.

It seems like my connection is not the tree itself, but more that an earth spirit was manifested as a tree. What do you guys think about that?
-
LOL! I used to do that to wierd people out when I was little. I had never realized it could be an actual tool, ty.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rqA7IuLjqMk I enjoy it when science finds affirmations of spiritual knowledge that has been around for millenia. Hope you enjoy!

Ah, I guess it would be middle Dan Tien and upper would be third eye, thanks for clearing the confusion. I guess there could be a subtle difference between a Chakra and Dan Tien, but the focus area's seem to remain the same. Like the correlating chakra is as a gateway to that aspect of being.
-
I see it as Jing = Kundalini spirit, and (lower)Dan Tien = Navel Chakra. and (upper)Dan Tien = Heart/Solar plexus chakras. Not sure about the chinese version of the third eye?
-
It would probably be best if you found the root 1st of all, which is at your tail bone. Try to do atleast a 10 minute meditation while listening to this and focusing at your tail bone, feel your body's energy flow and coalesce to that point: If there is no feeling the root, then try it again, until there is deffinitely feeling the root. Then you can find the Dan Tien next

It's simple. Trace the bottom bones of your ribage to the middle, that's where I feel the fire. -
How to determine someone's level of enlightenment?
Dagon replied to goldisheavy's topic in General Discussion
Exactly! -
A fellow student named Peter loaned me a book to read called "The Ancient Secret of the Flower of Life" by Drunvalo Melchizedek. I had no idea about Chi or Chakra's or anything like that at the time, (10 years ago)but found it intriguing that the golden mean spiral was found everytwhere in nature. So I continued to read, and got to a meditation technique, said to be given by the Egyptian Thoth. I completed the process in a few days, which I found the center or third eye. I didn't know what all of it meant at the time, so I began to coorelate my experiences to other teachings and found that the meditation was described by the yogi's as kundalini awakening. "The Egyptians awakened it. The ancient Chinese awakened it. The Eurasians, Mayans and Toltecs awakened and used it. The ancient Yoga practitioners designed the Yoga postures to speed and awaken its presence." http://www.kundaliniawakeningseminars.com/home.html Then I scoured the web to find more, and here I am

How to determine someone's level of enlightenment?
Dagon replied to goldisheavy's topic in General Discussion
Judge no one. Your ability to judge one would be limited to your own experiences. Therefore, seek to understand, and then decide if the information shared is of any value or meaning to you. Determining someone elses level is of little value. For example, someone less advanced than yourself, could teach you something. I know it would be tough when looking for a single teacher or master, but with this very outlook, everyone can be your teacher. -

Hi zerostao! Been enjoying the summer. How about you? The weather has been on the cool side, has it been for you as well?
