  1. Flying Phoenix Chi Kung

Well I've been off of practice in the meditations for awhile, but I recently found some inspiration to give it another go. I've been training in the Five Tibetan Rites in the down time and am confident that I can make something great of the training now that I've gained a new sense of calm, patience and a better understanding of myself. P.S. I will keep everyone posted on anything I find during my renewed training. Warmest Regards, Shen

Thanks for the prompt reply Sifu Terry, just wanted to be sure... Warmest Regards, Shen
  3. Flying Phoenix Chi Kung

Question to Sifu's Terry and Garry, are the Flying Phoenix Meditations and Omei Bak Mei complementary or is there an energetic conflict between the two arts you two practice? I'm just curious as I was contemplating getting back to my training with Flying Phoenix after a bit of a hiatus but want to learn some powerful internal Kung Fu while I'm at it now that Sifu Garry has DVD's of his own. Thanks in advance, Shen
  4. Good to know Shifu Mike and I plan to keep updating as my training advances, I don't feel like I need to hold back on training yet so I guess my spirit needs this for whatever reason. On another note it seems to be helping my sinuses, they are only about a 25%-30% as bad as they were two days ago, not truly certain if it's the practice but I'll keep going and see if the situation gets to be a non issue or not, heres hoping. Warmest Regards, Shen
  5. Update on my training in level 1, finally got around to doing some full on training a couple days ago and I must say this energy has helped me immensely on getting through my day and I have a question, is it normal for this practice to shave hours off of ones sleep? Warmest Regards, Shen
  6. Received your Level 1 DVD as of yesterday, watched once so far and looks very simple to learn, this should be fun... I think it'll only take me two weeks to learn the contents thoroughly but I'm sure like all things much more time will be needed to master it. Hope everyones training is going well... Warmest Regards, Shen
  7. Shifu Mike, I have an important question to ask you if it's alright. I found in a lot of Qigong styles that the tongue had to be on the roof of the mouth, is that so with your style as well? I ask because my tongue rests there on its own and I just wanted to be sure that I wasn't doing something wrong. Thanks in advance! Warmest Regards, Shen
  8. Cool meditations Shifu Mike, thanks for sharing... Warmest Regards, Shen
  9. Been doing the free meditation awhile and I must say that the power I'm getting out of it is more in just a few days than any other Qigong style I've practiced for several months to a year. I believe I've found the holy grail of Qigong so to speak in your style. I will be ordering the DVD to further this effect in just a few days, I hope to reach even greater heights as time goes by in my training. Warmest Regards, Shen
  10. Thank you very much Shifu Mike, I've been working on the free meditation as of late and plan to get the level 1 DVD sometime this month to extend that training further... This should be quite an experience if nothing else... Warmest Regards, Shen
  11. A curious question about this particular style, a lot of Qigong styles say not to eat within 30 minutes to an hour of practicing a Qigong form... Does your Celestial Nei Kung have a similar requirement? Warmest Regards, Shen

Cool, unfortunately it'll be a few years before I can travel, but when I can I'll be sure to spend a few days there getting my form tweaked if thats okay, (I live in Canada so your location is a bit off the mark, gonna have to be a special trip some day. ) and yes your right the shakiness is starting to subside now. The extra energy is nice to have, it seems to have cured my do nothing attitude (read perpetual laziness) which is a pleasant switch I must also admit that is seems my mental acuity is slowly going up which is another nice little bonus. I'm learning the second standing meditation now and so far so good, just need to work on coordinating my arms with my legs a lil' better. Warmest Regards, Shen
  13. Seems the highest levels truly are the simplest, I'll do what I can as far as learning is concerned. So far I'm working on the free meditation you put up on your site. Don't have as much money as I thought I would this month but perhaps next month I can acquire the first DVD to advance that training. Thank you for your very informative answer Shifu Mike, I appreciate it.
  14. Wow... I must say that answer took me slightly by surprise. Just how big is this system? If you don't mind my asking...
  15. This is just out of curiosity but will there be a "Level III" DVD? or were your plans just for the two levels that are out now? I'm just curious to know how far in this training one will eventually be able to go via DVD. Warmest Regards, Shen

The first of the five standing meditations so far, I'm going to learn 1 per week, thats the plan anyways... I ordered the first two DVD's in the series... And I already have a warm up by way of the Five Tibetan Rites of Rejuvination.
  17. Excellent, thank you very much Shifu Mike.

Got my DVD's a four days ago, I must say I am enjoying the training so far. It's actually really fun and challenging to learn and I feel this will help me greatly on any future training I should take up. I must say that the energy boost I get from just 5-10 minutes of daily practice is really nice. My arms are a bit shaky but that's improving as time goes by. I'm also getting the hang of the percentage breathing, it's a real challenge but it's fun to see how accurate I can get my breathing to what is instructed. I'll keep everyone posted on any new strides I make in my training. And to Shifu Dunn, I must say the production quality of your DVD's is the best I've ever seen, thank you so much for sharing this wonderful system with the world and all the best to you on life and your legal battle, I hope I have a chance to meet you in person someday. Warmest Regards, Shen
  19. I have a question I just thought of today. Is this practice compatible with the qigong of the martial art, Xingyiquan? I was thinking of practicing that martial art and I don't want to cross any wires.
  20. Thank you Shifu Mike for the great answer, and that sounds quite fascinating about the communing with ancestral teachers. Warmest Regards, Shen
  21. Shifu Mike, I thought of another question, actually been wondering this from the get go but sorta drifted to the back of my mind. Can this practice be done outside, or is it an indoors thing? I ask because a lot of qigong forms are rather touchy about that sort of thing, mainly with wind and rain and such. Warmest Regards, Shen
  22. Thank you for your kind answers, if I have any more question's I'll be sure to ask, thank you very much Shifu Mike. I may be ordering the first DVD sometime this month, this practice has really peaked my interest, I've been searching a long time for a practice like this and all I can say is, FINALLY! Warmest Regard's, Shen
  23. Thank you for the friendly answer Shifu Mike... I actually always wanted to be a good person and even a hero and protector of the good and defenseless, since I was just a little guy I was inspired by the likes of Superman and Son Goku and their innocence and kindness to others around them. I'm not sure if my moral code is exactly sympatico with the practice but I'm certainly hoping it is. Oh and one more question if it's okay, could you give me a rough idea of the health benefits of this practice? I know the practice extends greatly past that but I'm still curious. Warmest Regards, Shen
  24. Shifu Mike, I have a simple question, you say that when one abuses the energy there is a karmic backlash, so I'm wondering, what is abusive precisely? Just curious as to what spectrum that covers. Sorry if this sounds like a dumb question but I felt the need to ask for eleboration just in case someone get's a bad idea and runs with it. Shen

Just ordered the first 2 of your DVD's from your website Sifu Terry. Earlier than my original projected date but I found a financial opening to acquire them and took it. Should be interesting to see what ground I can gain in practicing this, I really look forward to this practice. Hope your legal battle goes well, all the best to you in your monumental struggle. Warmest Regards, Shen
