"Shen" is a fine inner soul name! My own name Dale works because it means "valley", and in Chap. 6 of the Tao Te Ching it speaks of the "Valley Spirit" (Gu Shen). Also, dividing the letters I get "Da Le", meaning "Great Joy" in Chinese.
