There is no such thing as "empty mind"
Cheshire Cat replied to 4bsolute's topic in General Discussion
Accordingly, this stone has reached the state of no-mind. -
It seems that the all "jade-sutra" method is based on clinging to physical sensations. I think that -at least- it would be a good idea to add a technique that works on subtler levels of the mind. Emptiness meditation for example.

Dalai Lama says no need for successor
Cheshire Cat replied to BaguaKicksAss's topic in General Discussion
Well... I'm the real Panchen Lama (in the avatar I show the secret "blessing countless sentient beings mudra") and none enthroned me as such because I wanted to learn about other traditions without buddhists filters: I guess that the Dalai Lama wants to do the same thing in the next life. -

I said that it didn't work because it produced ill-effects and energy losses. -

Are we creating a Black Hole inside us, by cultivating in the Lower Tan Tien?
Cheshire Cat replied to 4bsolute's topic in General Discussion
According to quantum mechanics , does a black hole release energy at will? -
Don't ask such things to qigong people. Ask Master Lambspring Figure XIV HERE THE FATHER SWEATS PROFUSELY, WHILE OIL AND THE TRUE TINCTURE OF THE SAGES FLOW FORTH FROM HIM. Here the Father sweats on account of the Son, And earnestly beseeches God, Who has created everything in His hands, Who creates, and has created all things, To bring forth his Son from his body, And to restore him to his former life. God hearkens to his prayers, And bids the Father lie down and sleep. Then God sends down rain from heaven To the earth from the shining stars. It was a fertilizing, silver rain, Which bedewed and softened the Father's Body. Succour us, Lord, at the end, That we may obtain Thy gracious Gift!

Please can you give me the telephone number of one of such Buddhas ? I think that the bodhisattva's vow is a sort of formality: I can't see a special attitude to save sentient being. They act exactly like the gods of other religious system. Need help? Make an offering and hope.

Thank you for being here. From the wuliupai website: I think this is an indication that the method of the school is an high level one, and I imagine that it probably involves some secret posture and the ch'an way of dealing with the mind. Am I correct?

What's your regimen of practice?

Is it possible to cure fallen angles with qigong and meditation? I tried for years!

I guess that the only thing that you didn't to solve the problem was... stop EVERY form of qigong/energy maniulation. Am I right?

Pictures of rainbow body, footprints in stone
Cheshire Cat replied to Tibetan_Ice's topic in Buddhist Discussion
The main advantage of tibetan practitioners is that the shanga take care of them at death: a practitioner in tugham will not be disturbed until achievement of great union. In christianity, they bury people the very moment in which the breathing stops. I was raised as a catholic and there are thousands of stories about miracolous rainbows manifested at the death of a great saint: this is considered common and not extraordinary. -

Cheshire Cat replied to Tibetan_Ice's topic in Buddhist Discussion
Personally, I find impossible to experience for real the condition of cyclic existence... well, ok it's buddhist theory, but it's something that one should actively believe (like believing in God, etc...). On the other hand, rainbow bodies are something that I can think as real since they are something that happens in many different religious traditions... and as TI said, it makes sense. -
