  1. Mantak Chia's Tai Chi Chi Kung

Mantak Chia learned many forms of Tai Chi, but at the end he decided to keep things simple with his peculiar short form. He could teach an overly complicated form and teach all kind of weird energetics, but he didn't. Maybe at the end, tai chi is not that "magical"....
  2. Mantak Chia's Iron Shirt; good or bad practice

And what books should we use for spiritual immortality? Could I use the same jacket?
  3. Mantak Chia's Iron Shirt; good or bad practice

I've heard that Mantak CHia's Iron SHirt comes from Shaolin temples and it is suppsoed to be a very powerfull technique and a complete Qigong on his own. So, I would suggest to approach it with care because it can be dangerous as well. Do things very very slowly. Master the stances first. Then slowwwwoly try lightly the breathing pattern. Be gently.
  4. My experience: Concentrating on an small object without blinking

In my opinion, this could be explained in Taoist Yoga chapter 5. This should be a profound healing technique, but I have no experience in it.
  5. The 9 bottled wind pranayam...

I lose Qi with that practice
  6. Chundi mantra

I'll suggest to stop for a few days and see if the "positive" effects are still there.
  7. Wirathu: The Face Of Buddhist Terrorism

I'm not sure, but I think that the monk is against certain muslims who practice violence... not all of them. Am I correct?
  8. Let's Talk About Afterlife

I love cats A student approached a famous Zen master in the city asking: “What happens after we die? This is something I’ve been thinking about for a long time and need to know. What happens after we die?” he repeated. The Zen master said: “I don’t know!” “You don’t know?” the student shouted in shock. “But you are a venerable zen master!” “That may be trued but I’m not a dead one,” the Zen master said.
  9. Chundi mantra

I'm not a zhuntimantra practitioner, but I experienced that symptoms after certain magical works. Depression and nausea to the point that I had to stop the activity. Fast recovery after all. I have two hypothesis: 1) you get the attention of lower spirits who manifest in this way 2) you consume all your "personal power" (it's not Qi, it's power not energy) in that cleaning of your soul and feel bad for a while.
  10. Let's Talk About Afterlife

If you understand what is the bodymind, you shouldn't have questions at all ...
  11. Let's Talk About Afterlife

  12. Let's Talk About Afterlife

You ask about the intentions of another incoming after your death !? Why not ask about your own intentions?
  13. Let's Talk About Afterlife

There is no such a thing as "one before death".
  14. Let's Talk About Afterlife

Since the age of 7, I'm working on the karma to be reborn as a Tyrannosaurus-Rex ...but I'm not sure if it is possible to get such an afterlife Now, I just ask "Who is he that seeks an afterlife?"
  15. This should stand at the end of the Bible
  16. How to develop unconditional love?

To love enemies is such a non-sense Metta Sutta for loving enemies in a scientific way! http://nalanda.org.my/e-library/mettasutta/download/Metta%20Sutta.pdf Buddham saranam gacchami
  17. Any long-term Zen practitioners in here?

According to the instructions of Buddhadasa, a respected and experienced thera monk, in samadhi the eyes close spontaneously. So, he encourages the open-eye cult
  18. Mantra meditation in suttas

I was looking for some old references in the practice of mantra meditation in the most ancient buddhist scriptures because it seems that this is something peculiar to the mahayana schools. Theravadin monks recite suttas as long mantras, but I'm not aware of any specific instruction explained in some text of this school... guess mantrasati sutta
  19. Is your Buddhism just an ego trip?

Yes, it is. If it's something that one can do, it's the business of the self. The "manifest action of seeing through the illusion of the self" should have a subject. Who is it that sees through the illusion of the Self? Do you pretend that not only he doesn't exist, but he love himself and others? The point of following the path is to see the "suffering" and decide to get rid of it. If one doesn't feel the suffering, what's the use of this path? But if one see the suffering and follow this path, he sees that suffering is born from desire and when his desires diminish after some time, he understand that the Buddha had some wisdom. To get rid of suffering. Try to speak to one who is very hungry and tell him "You cannot eat now, so why thinking about food instead of living as if your belly is full of delicious cakes?"

I've heard that there are chapters even for those who have actually attained immortality, right?
  22. This is the ultimate sexual experience. Forget Mantak Chia, Osho and all those people. This is the real thing. The real Master of the art. There are many techniques, but this is the only one that achieved the goal.
  23. Yes. There are two ways to deal with this: 1) to persevere. With time, your concentration will be really strong; 2) become adept in cursing and hexing;
  24. Use thick carpets to make the transition from the cushion to hard rock (). With time, you'll get used to sit almost everywhere.
