do all taoists believe in immortality and ...
Cheshire Cat replied to mile83's topic in Daoist Discussion
I do not claim to be a taoist. Usually, an average taoist believe that in order to reach union with the dao, you need to cultivate immortality first. The real question is "what is to cultivate immortality?" Here, you may receive dozens of answers... -
Extending Your Sitting Meditation Time
Cheshire Cat replied to RiverSnake's topic in General Discussion
The Dao of increasing sitting time is natural. If your body cannot holds that position for any longer, then all you can do is to refine your mind in that amount of time. If your mind clears himself, he will clear the body channels too... and you will be able to sit for longer time. Naturally. I can sit full lotus for 5 hours without pain or discomfort. But I can meditate in full lotus for a few minutes. P.S. Meditation is Zuowang. -
The "Porn-meditation" had equivalents in certain forms of tantric yoga because it increases general vitality. But you are considered free from lust and attachment to such things only if your practice does not lead to erotic dreams (even without ej). If you watch porn, practice retention... and start to dream sexy women, then the mind is not clean.

I think that the concept of Wu Wei could be related to the sadhu's principle of "performing no karma". Karma means action. A yogi should avoid action. This is a key to understand the ancient principle of wu-wei. Because there are certain actions that even a wandering sadhu cannot avoid, the concern is not "the action itself", but the point is to cultivate detachment. When you act without attachments, without putting the "I" in the actions... you are in wu-wei (no-karma) mode. Sorry for bad english

Quick Question on Masturbation and Energy Cultivation
Cheshire Cat replied to shaq786's topic in General Discussion
Cultivating energy in the so-called Dan Tien after a masturbation session... it seems to harm only practitioners who are celibate most of the time ( more than 1 month), and not all of them. If you are not celibate, you haven't enough energy to harm yourself in any way by cultivating your practice. -
Hi I'm looking for a translation of this text Huang ting wei ching which is a real classic (Han dynasty). But google doesn't help. Maybe there is a different way to transcribe the title? Thank you in advance

Mantak Chia for Iron Shirt and Iron Pants
Cheshire Cat replied to shaq786's topic in General Discussion
In the legs we have: 1)bones, cartilage 2)muscles 3)tendon, joints It would be very funny to see a demonstration of "redirecting" a real blow. But if we want to strengthen the legs for real, we should rely on - iron shirt 3 or equal internal practice(for point 1) - training and conditioning the muscles (for point 2) - stretching and special training for tendon power (for point 3) - centuries in zhang zhuang (for 1, 2,3,4,5,6) You can also visualize rainbows an golden unicorns in your legs, but if you rely on this alone it won't work -
Mantak Chia - Looking For A Clear Picture
Cheshire Cat replied to Steven King's topic in Systems and Teachers of
If this is true, then I am grateful to Mantak for sharing his materials because I have the impression that some sort of ancient (yet distorted in hundred of years) knowledge was passed trough them. If Mantak were one of those guys who refuse to share their knowledge by saying that it can be dangerous, then I would be very sorry. -
Mantak Chia for Iron Shirt and Iron Pants
Cheshire Cat replied to shaq786's topic in General Discussion
Iron shirt 1 is a mean to strengthen internal organs and fill them with Qi. Since there aren't vital organs in the legs, you should rely on conditioning (thai style for example) and Iron Shirt 3 which strengthen the skeletal structure and bone marrow. -
I had bad experiences with the so-called Masters and Teachers that spend all their time in philosophical talk and explanation of the old scriptures. I had bad experiences with masters who claim to have magical power and the highest spiritual path. I had bad experiences with masters who claim to be behind this and that and spend their time criticizing others for their faults. They tend to became megalomaniac, egocentric and I think that even a saint could became a devil in this role. Then I asked to myself "What is spiritual growth?" and "Who is the one who grows?" The real masters teach you a few things... then they go away and you have to struggle to see them again.

Where spirituality and science meet, Genes and Taoism.
Cheshire Cat replied to AstralProjectee's topic in General Discussion
I think that this is an extremely intricate process based on trial & error. If this way were suitable, than I'll suggest to work on it for physical immortality. Dao instead is very simple. So simple that Lao Tzu said "Very few could understand". For meditation improvement, I think it's better to use sounds... traditional, bineural, tri-neural,Iso-chronic .... ...as meditators did from time immemorial -

Why do you say that it is more powerful and effective than ayahuasca? I'm very curious because I've met a shaman who claims that Natèm is a drink of very very high power. -
There's an issue, a question that I cannot answer about the fusion practice of healing Tao. In the first formula, they use the Pakuas to collect and fuse the energy. The system presents two types of post-heaven pakuas: the yang, and the yin. The yin pakua should be a "gathering device" since the yin attracts and receives energy. But in the fusion, they form the yang pakua to collect energy. Why?

semen retention experience , feelings and doubts
Cheshire Cat replied to silentknight's topic in General Discussion
Test the first urine after your sex practice. Urinate in a glass and see if urine appears foamy. In a normal health state, urine should appear clear. Check urine without sexual practice for comparison. If it is foamy, your semen go into the bladder instead of go out. You have a perfect control of your PC and you can have retrograde ejaculation at will. -

Beautiful Thank you very much. I don't speak french, but I particularly like the footage of initiations. Sufi Masters are able to make you see angels and supernatural beings just by touch your head.
