(In my perspective/Interpretation) Monkey -> (The Un-calmed mind or People entering Path) Three -> (Ways of Nourishing the Jing, Qi, Shen) Four -> ( The principles of Dao, De, Wu Wei and Pu 樸) So related this to the Keeper, Spiritual Wisdom, Morning, Evenings, Monkeys, Unity.
  3. Taoism and Karma

Really like your comments on the verse Any idea who Hu and Shu maybe? The rulers of the Northern and Southern seas.
  4. Thank you for sharing Victor's translation of ChuangTzu.

May the Your Way and the Way always be one of the same :).

  5. Chuang Tzu Chapter 2, Section D

If this keeps up; we will have to say goodbye soon. In saying goodbye, is the same as not saying goodbye. Therefore it is saying goodbye. Anyone know what significances is the number four and three in Daoism?
  6. Taoism and Karma

You are right Boss; not really sure why I did that.
  7. Taoism and Karma

Minding the seven orifices, One will revive 'Chaos' the ruler of the center kingdom. As for Shu and Hu, just pay attention to the middle kingdom; one might catch their envoys and witness their meetings.
  8. Chuang Tzu Chapter 2, Section C

(Upon reading this chapter; I have a feeling of not wanting to comment but can't resist the urge of putting something down on the table.) Boo! Let me just blow air...
  9. Chuang Tzu Chapter 1, Section A

Now that's evolution Wonder how would the artists draw the transformation as for the 'stages of evolution'. There's 0 and then poof!! Infinity! (Or Over 9000!); now please fill up the space in between. P.S. Glad to hear from you, David.
  10. Everything & Nothing - Chapter 1 TTC - Tao

For you, anything my friend. The Tao No need for faith. The 'I' goes against the flow; give that up even temporary. Become whole again, even just temporary. Too much have been said on my part, I'll stop now. May Everything be Well.
  11. Everything & Nothing - Chapter 1 TTC - Tao

Throw that away again and look inside. What is in control? Are you trying to find some place for the Tao or yourself? To stand in the eye of the storm? Find the eye, throw that away and it wont be far. Me myself don't know but you will just 'be' despite the storm.
  12. Everything & Nothing - Chapter 1 TTC - Tao

thus nothing and everything. Going to application of ChuangTzu, what makes thing useful and useless. The Sage knows what is useful and what is useless. And what makes things useful and useless.
  13. Taoism and Karma

Maybe we should try with a bigger hammer; either way.
  14. Everything & Nothing - Chapter 1 TTC - Tao

just names Boss, just names. Lets go back to 2nd chapter Dao De Jing.
  15. Everything & Nothing - Chapter 1 TTC - Tao

Oh nonono, I won't let you take the backseat. I thought you don't like dualistic stuff. but that could be my misunderstanding that you don't like dualistic stuffs. @Everything Told you to throw it against the wall and start all over. If there's no mess then it's nothing. Start all over. @Sin You ever try Yin of Yin of Yin or Yang of Yang of Yang? Just curious .
  16. Chuang Tzu Chapter 2, Section B

Hahaha, it was actually my way of summarizing the section And your way of answering it.
  17. Chuang Tzu Chapter 1, Section B

When all is good, all things under heaven are with the Dao. Yao see no reason for being a king. He thinks that is no more for him to do other than giving it away to a proper successor. Being titled 'King' is still a burden for him. He look for all under heaven for a successor, he found Xu You and then Shun. He wanted to give the 'World' to Xu You; Seeing that there's no more thing to do. Pointed out that Yao's burden is empty and to go back, and there's no need to give the World away. There's no need to receive the World.
  18. Chuang Tzu Chapter 1, Section B

King Yao is a bit guilty here, isn't it? What use is giving 'King' to Xu You? Xu You just shove it back at King Yao's face politely. What use in giving away 'All beneath Heaven'? @Chi Thank you for the nice translation.
  19. Everything & Nothing - Chapter 1 TTC - Tao

correct and precise. Me just another idiot. You lose me there when you talked about the Yin and Yang story. It's better for me not to know; being stupid have many benefits you know. One can learn the same things again and again, only each time things gets a lot more smart as one gets more dumb and dumber. Wasssup and peace out
  20. Chuang Tzu Chapter 2, Section B

Boss, You do enjoy the high speed don't you? It must be nearly Christmas for you. Seasons of the heart and the doll that comes with it. Only where is the heart?
  21. Everything & Nothing - Chapter 1 TTC - Tao

Hello Everything; Interesting stuff you have there, now take Everything and drop it in Nothing. And throw Nothing at the wall. Any mess left will be yours to clean. Good luck on your journey.. That's quite something you have here.
  22. Hi Patrick, your signature looks like a good commercial. Makes me want to get those puddings. I saw from your location that you are based in Oxford. I understand that you are interested in Tibetan Buddhism but have you been to the Oxford Buddha Vihara temple. The dialogue with the Abbot; Venerable Dhammasami can be quite fun and interesting.

    All the Best!

  23. General Discussions

Hi Rene; Never had the pleasure of having dialogues with you. My condolences. And Welcome Back . All the litte things, Be Well.
  24. Truth is a burden for me

Accepting all the Lies, One comes to Truth. Denying all the Lies, One comes to Truth. Truth can becomes a shield. What is there to fight? What is there to argue? Why do you want to wake people up? We can only wake ourselves up.
  25. Taoism and Karma

I think that summarize the thread very nicely. @Marblehead Apologies of using your head boss @Manitou I like what you wrote. But is it Daoism? I wouldn't know as well. In statistics, Would someone explain to me briefly 'Markov Property'?
