  1. Flying Phoenix Chi Kung

Yes for me. On similar note also flashes of old memories during the day, not only visual but also gustatory and olfactory.
  2. Bak Fu Pai's Sunn Yee Gong-Q&A

inside, outside and lower dantien listening, combination of external and internal listening, and I believe some basic chi perception or guiding exercise (I'll have to make word by word transcription before I start with that volume)
  3. I believe those 5 minutes are the minimum, not maximum.
  4. Flying Phoenix Chi Kung

Yes he does . But since there are many countries in Eastern Europe, you can also check the order form that your country is on the shipping list to make sure.
  5. Questionable Mak Tin Si Sect

What a karma, so many bad personal experiences with all the word's spiritual paths: http://www.chiinnature.com/badpaths.html (Worst is Kunlun of course, I remember Mak Tin Si was blaming Max for some of his health issues.) If the path you follow is not listed, give him a call I'm sure he'll be happy to fix it.
  6. Constipation

Thank you cat we are fine all is good now, it was a bit long, but there are much worse things. Also our friends had a babygirl with similar issue, it's not uncommon. Hope everything will work well for z00se and family. As cat wrote about, there was also a relaxation and psychological aspect to it, that we worked on too, just I don't have words to express well on that aspect thus didn't mention it, but working on improvement in communication with the child and on our own "evolution" was part of it.
  7. Constipation

I can't offer TCM perspective, just that we have battled similar problem for a long time. Our little one ended up having fissures which has caused further defecation avoidance. It's important that fissure doesn't turn into chronic one as those are hard to heal. We ended up treated in a dedicated hospital department that specializes in this issue in our country. To heal the fissure, we were giving her Duphalac/lactulose so that poo is not hard and doesn't increase the fissure. Then some ointments. They suggested different defecation posture - hanging legs, as if almost standing. After defecation not to use toilet paper but water, then massage with ointment - Infadolan, Calcium panthotenicum. Massaging rectum two times a day with circular movements. Not prescribed by doctor but there was also some new type of ointment released on the market around that time that was particularly intended to heal inflamations in moist environment, that might have helped as well.

Did you check that he doesn't have anal fissure? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anal_fissure

And that's just the sitting meds. I can't imagine how one would do the moving meds without proper guidance. I have the Red Dragon from sifu which contains moving meditations and the presentation is top notch. Going many times over each form, explaining every detail. Doing moving SYG based on demo videos must be like reading Bible in Swahili.

It could have been it was founder's meditation experience, or perhaps this art really has its protector deity, or both. Irrespectively of what has happened, my feeling about the aim of the full story as it was written is that it should embody the ideals and where it would get practitioner and establish the value of those teachings clearly. If I created an art in that time and was an educated person, I'd write a poem too and paint a calligraphy and stuff, just for own consumption and expression ie. part of the art. The words about rejection, albeit sounding worded in a more western way, don't contradict the general laws other teachers talk or write about - eg. "the more virtue the more benefit". Would Goddess of Compassion care about such a tiny mundane thing? IMHO it's all just about you and karma you created. Not about The Goddess. Nor accounting. Advice some teachers give is along these lines: first establish yourself firmly in the real world, then come back to me for esoteric teachings.
  12. On a quick search in that group I have only found two somewhat relevant recent posts (but it's completely possible that I might have missed other posts on topic) both saying that MCO is not grounding, eg. http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/KundaliniSupportNetwork/message/21951 In KAP aka Kundalini Awakening Process course, MCO is the major part of the instructions on how to raise kundalini. It might perhaps cure some of the kundalini symptoms in terms that it will clear blockages, but clearing blockages and connecting energy centers helps to raise kundalini further. (But if you wish to continue on the kundalini path and raise it further and to have a smoother ride, that would be another case, I realize I might have misunderstood your first post not sure whether you wish to just ground or also to minimize the chances of any further kundalini raising).
  13. You can try Kundalini Support Network: http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/KundaliniSupportNetwork/ they might even have a list of what to do to keep things smoother, sent upon subscription (not completely sure about this)
  14. Stop doing MCO. It will raise Kundalini.

Is it a test whether sifu is clairvoyant, you have deleted the questions couple days ago and now wish to have them answered LOL Why not just simply re-post or post a polite reminder, if your question wasn't answered.
  16. technically, most noticeable differences are that SYG has more of them, and Hung Lung doesn't have percentage breathing (unlike SYG or FP). (It's also likely that some meditation postures differ, eg. Hung Lung has bak mei mudra, but I'm not in a position to confirm that (only have the 6 SYG meditations).)
  17. Bak Fu Pai's Sunn Yee Gong-Q&A

Not sure if it answers the question, from my notes: "Relaxation is most important, and "listening". Breathing is through dantien, but no forcing (no visualizations...)." That's similar to FP I believe.
  18. Complete waste of time. But it's a post I have enjoyed most on this thread, so hillarious on many levels.
  19. Flying Phoenix Chi Kung

Hi Aurélien, I have similar problems/symptoms, though likely milder. It's definitely not "the cure" but just a side-note, it helps me to breathe while concentrating on the breath and the abdomen area. (Ie. the very basic meditation practice that's described in most shamatha meditation books). I do that whenever this problem arises, or during the day whenever it comes to mind (ie. while doing other daily activities which allow this). It helps me to cope relatively easily while the problem is mild, and of course is a bit harder with bigger attacks. (And it's not just FP Qigong that makes the problem come more towards the surface, it's other energetic and especially breathing involved practices as well.)
  20. Did you ask her about this? Not that I'm qualified to answer but my feeling is there is no big problem looking at it from Yigong side if you practice both on separate time. These are two 'nice' systems, Yigong is all about release of energy blocks, Flying Phoenix is a meditative healing qigong. There is no forcing anything anywhere, no visualizations, no work with kundalini, no martial qigong,...
  21. I doubt she means that it's under the condition of going to her seminars. Definitely it doesn't mean that you have to receive more advanced practices from her. Actually I believe it was posted in response to others demanding that she reveal the other higher levels of her system - to which she replied that the level 1 that's covered on her DVD is complete practice and all that one needs and thus she will not be revealing the other levels to general public.

  23. kunlun confusion..

There is only one Kunlun, by Max Christensen. Jenny Lamb's Spontaneous Qigong is equivalent of level 1 Kunlun. In an older book about Kunlun some other practices from Jenny Lamb's lineage were presented as Kunlun level 2 and level 3, in more recent Kunlun books I believe these were removed and replaced with different practices Red Phoenix is an advanced practice in Kunlun system that doesn't come from Jenny Lamb, ie. only Max Christensen and his certified teachers teach it. Kuan Ying Magnetic Qigong is said (by some, not me, I can't compare as I don't know Red Phoenix) to be similar to Red Phoenix, but it's not Red Phoenix and can't find the reference right now (it's here on the forums) but it wasn't taught by Max Christensen but some other teacher, to sifu Matsuo.
  24. You'll likely have to edit AdBlocker settings, so that it doesn't block or strip sendgrid.org and maybe also url4short.info (can't check, judging from above posts).
