I have thought about this issue a lot as well, Mal! I guess even in a way I anticipate my dying because it will be when my beliefs are put to the test. Do I put my money where my mouth is, when the chips are down at the end of the day and the cards are on the table, or do I just cry and be scared. When I thought I was going to die, in the distant past once when getting ( literally )washed out to sea, ( this was before I consciously found taoism ), my feelings and thoughts werent about my actual demise, but about how awful it was going to be for my mother to have her youngest daughter die. I actually felt very calm on my own behalf, but not happy that her fate was to have such a damaging event happen to her. Nowadays, I feel strongly what Ya Mu says and I think we die as we live. I hope in the moments approaching my death that I would be able to stay heart centred and firmly located in my body with lower dt solid and kidney energy solid, and liver energy staying in the liver. And with an attitude of gratitude. Should be quite an adventure...

Eric, hi. Glad to hear all is wonderful with Sparkle. I can imagine you dont have a much of a need or feeling to post here. I'm sorry about it - because it would be great for us if you posted here - but I understand it. I'm hoping you might tell us more about Jezebel. I regard your books as key texts. Just seen this thread for the first time. Hagar - loved your post. And I thought I'd chip in something about how ayuahuasca can be and is used as a 'drug' ( and by that I mean an addictive substance which is used to trigger experiences, as a substitute for self generated experiences). Here in England, at least, there are circles of regular ayuahuasca users who dip and dive from one 'far out trip' to another, creating a string of shiny beads for themselves: they meet regularly to take ayuahuasca, just as ecstacy users would meet to rave. A regular safe house and collusion.

And so I have a humble request that I hope you will consider, which is that you stop writing your daily topic in CAPITALS. It jumps out of 'new content' - which is what I search for on my arrival here, as if it were MORE IMPORTANT than the other TOPICS. Which of course it isnt, and if everyone were to start posting their threads USING CAPITALS in order to keep up with you this would be a very EMPHATIC forum indeed,wouldnt it.

Thinking about speaking is pretty hot. In the intentional community, we think about speaking for ages and ages, until the urge passes and we are utterly sated but havent defiled our silence and lost any verbals. Ok, Trunk. I will report stuff that I find offensive. I do have that parent figure in me which is very active, and yet is also a somewhat fatigued parent who comes here to be off duty and even get to be the child. I fully agree with Drew about the masturbation stuff. My concern is I am probably missing interesting stuff because I just dont have the time or patience to wade through the guff.
