  1. Hello ...

Hi prana, can you tell us a bit about yourself and what your practises are?

  3. end of the world in 5 days?

Ha, Darin. I was thinking - oooooh, I could eat as much ice cream as I like!
  4. I'm trying to find out the actual CONTENT of the new book. I went to kunlunbliss but all I got is very general blurb. Anyone have a list of chapter headings?
  5. The Faces of God

I love this thread. It is interesting to see what proportion of us here are devotional by temperament. At the moment I am reading Paramahansa Yogananda's autobiog and carrying about Sri Yukteswar's "Holy Science". The meditations inspired by them are very deep indeed. Yogananda is a fun companion with strong child energy and overflowing love, I find myself making innovative indian food all the time lately. Making basmati rice pudding with rose water, cardamom and pistachio's yesterday, out of nowhere, having never made it before. I think he liked it. Sru Yukteswar is the "Lion of Bengal" with the deepest wisdom, and he looks at me witheringly when I waste my time. He is a great disciplinarian. Their company is humbling and keeps focus. I do believe that at a certain point, we attract the attention of these beings, and benefit from communion with them. The amount of love that they carry is awe inspiring.
  6. housekeeping

I invoke a dragon to protect my house. It curls around it and sleeps. It would wake if need be. I love my dragon.
  7. The Faces of God

So it is an impersonal love that you feel, durkhrod? I'm wondering about the burning passion for a master. The heart opening and a divine transmission flooding in.
  8. The Faces of God

Do you love them durkhrod. Do they inspire your heart and soul and mobilise your spiritual juice?
  9. Kunlun San Diego and assorted musings

so you liked it then. Good - oh.
  10. Hagar, I'm sorry I drew you into talking about something you regret posting about. I know people edit their posts away on here... if you want to do that, I will also edit mine. And then it will not have to be stuck here in black & white.
  11. hmm, hagar. I squirrelled away your response and chewed on it, hence my slow response. "It's so easy to kid yourself in practise" is the part I am particularly mulling over. I also have had layers peeled away by retreats, much crying and dissolving and feeling renewed. And raw. The onion metaphor. The kidding oneself.... is that ignorance rather than vanity? ( rhetorical question) Each new level of authenticity that we reach makes the previous one look ..well, inadequate to say the least... Thankyou for sharing that.
  12. Importance of Mudras

Interesting how mudra's occur spontaneously. The other day I was walking to the trad doctor to ask about something that is making two of my toenails less than beauteous. As I walked along my fingers stretched into a strong mudra. I looked it up later and found it was used for expelling toxins.

  15. Kunlun Seminar in PHX next week

I really hope you will be able to concentrate on one thing long enough to write us up a report of your experience, Craig, because it will be great to have your point of view on it all, it really will. I will be nowhere near Phoenix, not even in the same country as Phoenix. But if I were, I'd join you. Have fun.
  16. Stripping the Gurus

we dont need to strip nobody. we just love em and love em and the truth emerges like an alien from a chrismus cracker.
