I'm curious about the biodisk. I'd like to try one. But I feel my hackles are up about how much they charge for it. I would feel an absolute fool coughing up that much dosh for them to pocket. The mark up on it must be phenomenal. If it does so much good, healthwise, wouldnt it be nice if it was more widely available, for a far more accessible and reasonable price. Why dont they sell many many more, for much much less. That's my suggestion to BioDisk.

Nice input, Brian. What is the Forbidden Zone, here, please? I'd like to know. What did you touch upon that felt taboo?

Thankyou mYTHmAKER. I ordered the Bob Cooley book from my local library, but they dont have the DVD. Some of the reviews suggest that you need to helpers to do these stretches effectively, to put the resistance at the right level for them to be effective. I love Bath, yes. And it is quite some way from where I live. Manageable for a w/e though. thankyou.

ah! I love love love the word 'ineffable'. So lovely to see it being used. props to xuesheng. What has reduced Procurator to a little black spitty thing in the corner? Go and stand in the woods and do some breathing, guy.

hi mYTHmAKER, thankyou for these recommendations, I appreciate it. I'm reading the stuff at the first link at the moment. Have you tried this guy's exercises? or know anyone who has? I'm intrigued and would like to try it out... Everyone seems to love intuflow. I need to find out more about it. thankyou. OOlong thankyou also for your input, interesting.

That is a very constructive and practical good idea. And 'pondering the meaning' is a nice receptive process oriented phrase which can result in a deep and rounded understanding as it suggests other parts of the self will be engaged other than purely logos functionality.

Seadog, I dont know you, obviously, so I cant target any feedback on this to you personally. But I can say this - the psyche throws out sabotage in many forms. If you have any lurking fears that you are vulnerable to a cult, or that kunlun is cult like, and/or that your ego identity feels threatened by the changes that kunlun can bring to you, it may well dig in it's heels and try hard to make you reinforce the current status quo and show change to you in a threatening light, so that you avoid it. Only you will know if you are being spooked by your unconscious into giving up something important, or if it something else going on. Love and Peace.

I'm afraid you have utterly missed my point, despite me articulating it very clearly.

I read it as he was expressing his disapointment, as helpful feedback for us. I think it's fair comment, and it's just as well to be aware that some potentially valuable members will be uninterested in posting here, because of all the tosh that goes on. Less tosh would be good, as far as I'm concerned. Obviously as Taoists we dont have to be Holier than Thou and nicey nicey, but nor do we have to be so reactive and touchy that we are like drunks in a bar. And some of the members are indeed like drunks in a bar, and it isnt acceptable. There is a thread here in which TaoMeow just got insulted about her looks. Obviously it is a brain - dead insult, as we dont know what she looks like, and it's irrelevant, but an ambience created by posters like that is deeply offputting for a lot of people. Quite rightly so.

No, I didnt read the link. I have absolutely no interest in pseudo science. My point was, that we are here to exchange with one another and inform one another, learn from each other and help one another, and hopefully enjoy it. It would be great if you could have said straight off why it was rubbish instead of just flinging in an opinion with no explanation. The whole quality of the board will degenerate if we just fling opinions about and make unsubstantiated claims all the time. It is so much easier, online especially, if people are clear and explanatory.

ok. I'm not starting a war. I think 'touchiness' is taking the place of an ability to discuss and exchange ideas on this site for many members. disapointing.

Guys.... it isnt jargon. it is reductive to think of it that way. it's an integral part of the culture of what you are learning. it's metaphor, which accrues depth and meaning on a soul and spirit level. think white bread versus brown bread. persevere with the less easy flavour, you'll be richer in the end.

Please share your lucid analysis with us, Buddy, and stop with that coy inarticulacy, you jolly jester, you.
