One of the things which keeps me a fairly sealed vessel is the possibility of incurring envy/rage or other negative reactions from others because of the results of cultivation, were they to be palpably clear to those not in a parallel position. It is a privelege to be able to practise cultivation. At the lowest level, spiritual cultivation enables us to be happy and peaceful, and at the highest level it enables us to return to God, or by whatever name we call the Supreme Reality.

If you meditate you will at some point understand what is the energetic pattern that the human mind interprets as something dubbed "karma", inextricably intertwined with the concept of linear time. you can see through all these constructs via your spiritual work/energy practise. just keep doing your practise. all will become clear. in the meantime you will have only a cerebral story about karma to occupy your mind.

yes. It makes perfect sense, it reflects my own experience, it's real and heartening. I very much resonated with the Tantrika, and with Odier as the adept. I am both of them, theoretically could wear either hat.( Of course I cant pick up stones with my vagina...) I felt I must have been doing this many lifetimes or something, it was a 'coming home' style relief, to read it. I would recommend it especially to those I know have a deep kinaesthetic awareness, who will recognise a lot of what Odier goes through. He describes very clearly what he feels in his body and how he experiences events energetically. To me it is a great relief to have a communication on that level.

I just read the book Eric mentions, Tantric Quest". I wanted to boost the heads upon this one. I recognised my path in it, felt my heart opening, like "I arrived in this life with this, here's my baggage, labelled!" It's a first person narrative of an initiation with a Tantrika. So beautiful. Spectrum I think you would savour it. TaoMeow I think you would smile with recognition if you havent already read it/eaten it/smelled it / hunted it a thousand years ago. Is there anyone here who has worked with Daniel Odier? (He made the film "Diva".. which I think I'd like to now watch again..()

I recognize this scenario sooooooooooooooo deeply. I have become a Queen of Evasion and Deflection, thanks to the reign of the meatgrinders. It is odd to realise that one essentially lives in hiding.

A sifu I worked with who gave powerful transmission told me that when he works with gay men, as their energy aligns and balances they enter great turmoil as they feel their attraction to men slipping away, and this is very challenging to their self concepts. they have to decide to continue the work and become non - gay, or stop, and preserve their previous energy pattern.

I agree here, with lockpaw. I really do. To me, a criticism of a teacher is par for the course, no -one goes uncriticised in life. You show your colours by how you respond. As for the reptilean races. To get the clearest and most vivid and credible story about what that was all about - read Michael Harner. No better source. The way of the Shaman

Thanks Hundun for sharing your level of response. You've given a traditionally respectable context to your point of view, which I appreciate and I'm sure others do too. Smile, do you consider that to be the extent of his skill that you are aware of.. or that beginners could at least be aware of... at your current estimation? BTW Mantra, and Dakini... we will all, I'm sure, draw our own conclusions, none of us are going to swallow wholesale any one persn's point of view and adopt it as our own.
