Hi Harmonious Emptiness - terrific username you have chosen. Couple of things I wonder if you could clarify. One is, what you hope to contribute with the last line of your post, the other question I have is about this : my concern here is the inherent weakness in having to see the others intentions as good, in order to find benefit for oneself.. so if the other fails to have good intent, then we add to the failiure by failing to benefit? I am unclear as to the benefit of double failiure, why compound fail with more fail? Would be interested to hear your clarity on this. Surely our aim should be benefit, regardless of the others intent?

This is true, I think. A person has to be 'prepared ground' in themselves, in order to truly receive what is said. And when a person is prepared, they dont need to be preached at.

I also watched today the other resource Jetsun posted - for which also thankyou Jetsun - the interview with bruce frantzis. It was a really good interview, Bruce is terrific, I really liked him a lot. But he could have done without his shirt, from my point of view. Definitely.

Yes, thats not uncommon. My windows crack too.. its your energy field afecting the wood. And yeh. My tv's have blown up too many times, and internet connection randomly fluctuates according to my mood, and I recall Vajrasattva here saying he went through so many mobile phones it was crazy. Its electrical and magnetic energy. Its you. Its us. Its us and the envrironment, interacting, is all. Nobody is popping the bulbs or cracking your window except you. It's your energy.

I get cracks and bangs and stuff like that from the surrounding furniture and walls, in relation to my thoughts and emotions. I'm sure Drew said the same thing, here, too. People around me hear them and sometimes laugh, because it seems the furniture is joining in the conversation.

YaMu, thankyou. We need to find what we lost. Being human is a system of dismembering and remembering. When our intent and energetics are pure and uncontaminated we can recall the fragmented parts of our spirit... so that is what is going on.. that is the process. So our spirit will become more full and whole, so that we can be more of use to others. Its good to hear what you say. Thats a shame. I used to subscribe to their magazine and through them got to work with Ken Cohen, which was fantastic. They did some excellent work, and Ken Cohen was very in favour of them.

Yes, thankyou for answering. I appreciate it. What I am becoming so much more aware of is this multidimensionality of perception and participation awareness. Some aspect/s of me seem utterly selfish, closed and unaware of anything that a lot/the rest of 'me' has been seeking to cultivate. Sometimes I feel like either a dual consciousness being or a ragbag of partial 'selves'.. sometimes that cartoon archetype of the person with an angel on one shoulder and a demon on the other seems to be searingly pertinent.. re. a heart centred open consciousness which accepts unity and selflessness, versus a small closed consciousness which is .. kind of absurd, with perspective, but which believes in itself totally whilst it is in the ascendant. So the Being of Light being YOU... this has to be inclusive of the smaller self, somehow? The smaller self.. um.. on a dimensional level.. well, its a contracted ( as in constrained) perception, essentially. I'm wondering what the point of the contracted level of perception actually is! I can feel that the contracted position is being taught out of me, which I'm grateful for. I know what you mean about recognition; "So good to see you again, my friend": I have found that most of my life, well actually all of it, has been about those connections. When I feel weak, I feel like maybe I'm in an exam and I'm failing.. there are lots of challenges. I'm really grateful for your presence YaMu, thankyou.
