Well in that case you are distorting their intent.. the connotation of 'stubborn' is that one is resistant. the connotation of 'persistence' is of endurance and stamina, no implication of resistance/inflexibility.

Yes, I have also what you describe, GMP. I think of it as radio interference. The runic images I mentioned appeared at third eye location and werent radio interference type stuff.

yes. Have had red lights like that from making love and white smoke from practice, and astral neon blue lines too. the colours, as you say, luminous and vivid. Also had them appearing in my head as runic shapes, all colours, hyper colours.

What if you are an immature person subject to narcissism and delusion. two people believing they are soul fragments come together or "destined to be together" is a great egoic lure toward feeling special and creating a fiction, a folly a deux. Although of course when one is in harmonious deep love with another person one does feel one is with a soul mate. Perhaps the feeling is the key to it.. it is about recognising another, and whilst harmony prevails, recognition can take precedence. Deep harmony on many levels with others not being that common to actually live , though not so difficult to imagine or glimpse, is more of a challenge to integrate it with daily life, for it to become strong and enduring despite distractions which unseal the alchemy. I heard that a soul mate could be someone who assist you in creating a deeper sense of soul.. so of course this could be someone who brings a lot of suffering into your life, or a lot of challenge, not harmony, necessarily.

Yes it is a bit of a mystery. It could be that your energy field was so pervasive that you were 'present' to your friends in a way that was translated into "I thought I saw you..".. ie I projected your face onto someone because i felt you in an unusual way, outside of my conscious awareness. I dont really know what happened when you had qigong psychosis. Have you written about it on the board and I missed it?

Maybe the law of attraction works the same kind of way that dreams work.. with dream logic, with the kind of multi layered consciousness that means we are in a gestalt of perceptual ability, now you see it, now you dont. I think one can understand dreams and the results of law of attraction when one puts ones consciousness in the right place(s) to do so. If consciousness is like water, it runs around : one can place ones consciousness in the place from which all is perceivable, or appears to be, but then consciousness dribbles into other ways of perceiving, due to well worn grooves and interacting in same same old. If taming the wild horse is battling with the ego, then I think working with the water of consciousness itself a whole bigger game, in which landscape must be shifted to allow fluid containmnent. Especially if the law of attraction brings you something you find it hard to chew. This is why people say 'be careful what you wish for', isnt it.

someone exactly us... somewhere else. Not physically exactly like us.. but in some other way. Not culturally, not to do with what they like to eat or read or even perhaps their sense of humour. In what way could they be our doppelganger? Split apart energy? Two sides of the same coin? A fragmented soul? a larger piece of 'being' now seperated.. inorder to learn more and then come back together, maybe.
