Why I am Diligent in curbing my Lust and Sexual Desires
三江源 replied to tulku's topic in General Discussion
Tulku, thanks for letting us know your plan and priorities. I think we are clear on it now. -

Ah! excellent point. They keep showing me what looks like nourishment.. but it's just a trick. I thought I was a vicious dog, now I think I mispelled it.

Some people do like the sound of their own voices and think they are on a mission to educate and inform, and expose terrible awfulnesses in other peoples, when actually it seems to others that they are just on a mission to post a lot on the interwebs. However. Energy practices have all kinds of funny affects on a persons temperament as the system undergoes alchemy.. excess fire and false yang exhibit themselves on the forum a fair amount.. and it isnt to be underestimated that there are energy exchanges happening via the forum.. people's energy can interlock and swirl around and people respond not quite aware of what is going on or why they are being so activated. It's a process to attend to, be aware of. Perfection, whatever that might be, is not expected... good faith and attitude are aimed for. "Basher" seems to me a peculiar name for someone advocating non - bashing.. and beginning their posting career with criticism... do you have an agenda?

Expressing anger/setting boundaries..feeling pride versus sucking it up showing love all the time
三江源 replied to skydog's topic in General Discussion
Yes, after I wrote above post I thought "we - ell, I suppose everyone is your teacher..invited or not.." in which case the onus to find skill is in the recipient not the dealer. I agree with you, spitting back isnt my chosen ideal first port of call, due to escalation and stalemate situation, and yet, at some point, to say DONT TREAD ON ME is the most important thing one can say.. at other times, surrendering to be trodden on can be the most productive experience. Makes me think of the Byron Katie work. -
Expressing anger/setting boundaries..feeling pride versus sucking it up showing love all the time

I have been on the receiving end of some very brusque unhelpful behaviour, unkind behaviour indeed.. and told that it is skillful use of 'ego shocks' and that I should suck it up. (Not from someone I have asked to be my teacher.) In such an instance, there is a menu of options: a) suck it up, because 'so what'... it doesnt really matter b ) spit back, because dont mess with me uninvited, everything matters Anyone have any ideas for further menu options? I can see both points of view and have oscillated between them until reaching saturation point of 'enough is enough' and have just had enough already of the mind games.. what would you all do, if the antagonisms you experience on a daily basis were presented to you as calculated violations to shift you to the part of you that is essentially unviolable. Where do we choose to live? One what part of the scale of reactivity? -
Can anyone of us imagine what this would mean?

Had a profound! one-consciousness-like experience with ayahuasca
三江源 replied to Owledge's topic in General Discussion
mm, yeh. When I was doing a vision quest, one of the things that happened was that the spirit of the deer revealed itself as etched into the landscape.. no distinction between the land and the deer.. I saw a huge deer was a huge earth mound. My heart was ablaze with love and water streamed out of my eyes to be able to be priveleged enough to be able to see, to be shared with by such a phenomenon. I want to be back in that green territory with the spirit of the deer.. and I am. Cos I'm telling you. It's part of me. Now it's part of you. x -
I worked from Ken Cohen's video for a long time. Highly recommend, cant go wrong with Ken, if you want to do qigong.

so apart from the demystification and the sense of perspective and your normality including stuff often called non - ordinary, another thing is.. it's great to be deeply moved by what is quite normal. It's quite normal to love your child and at the same time its the deep magic of your daily life. ha ha ha about the reeking and stinking, a few posts back. -

I consider sentiment to have quite a different connotation than your attribution. The words you suggest as 'better' are irrelevant to what I said. Maybe you are able to deduce the meaning of sentiment contextually used here, which is more complex than the definition you suggest. I'm not sure if you are trolling.. 'stupid and lively'.... is there a reason for being so reductive in your precis?
