Rarely. Usually with external locus of evaluation/considering, what you get is sentiment. But a vibrant heart centre can co exist with cognitive dullness. No reason why not, it's just that usually the whole system is dulled when internality is minimal.

A new local school here in London opened with lots of hoopla about how wondrous they were with their pc for every child. In fact it just didnt work, they ran too slowly, got too glitchy, no one could fix that many glitchy snotty laptops.. classes ran too slowly..padlocks got lost, they got dropped and flung around, anyway, to cut a glamorous story short, they returned to good old pen and paper pretty quickly.

This is it, what de_paradise said. BTW, I'd be interested to get the contact details of Dr Wang, as I'm in the UK too, and am interested to see his website etc.

A friend suffered tinnitus a long time. She went to an acupuncturist, who got rid of it very quickly. Good Luck.

Thanks for the input.

A fair number of members are fed up of the derailment issue, clearly. Taking personal responsibility is something each poster can do.. to think before they post off topic or personal bickering and wonder 'does this actually contribute to the forum..' or 'does this actually dilute the usefulness and enjoyability of the forum'.. What would "effective moderation" for derailment be? Afaik the board is pretty divided between members wanting more moderation, less, and many feeling the porridge is just right..

Please explain how this is different from saying YOU NEED TO SHUT THE FUCK UP< BECAUSE I WONT.

If you want to carry a fennel plant about with you or keep one in your kitchen that would be fine. If you want convenience and some in a jar or little bag that you can carry about with you, seeds are easier. If you have an indian shop near you , you can buy a post- meal digestive mix ready prepared, which will have jaggery added most likely and some roasted cumin seeds. Otherwise, the plain seeds are a convenient way to maintain the habit.

~~Fennel is a traditional seed to chew after meal for digestion and breath benefits

hi Everything. You didnt let go of seeking the subconscious. You found a manifestation of a part of it. Resistance to the sublime. There is a good article on this by Liz Greene and Howard Sasportas - they are Jungian astrologers and describe the ability to live the true self and the higher self, and the sabotages of various astrological constellations. I dont know if you are interested in astrology or not, but if not, you can pretty much ignore that aspect of it and just read it as an interesting delineation of the human psyche in relation to this issue. Resistance forms archetypes. You can find the article, if you wish, via google. It's in googlebooks. BTW, your unconscious will rebel if you try to make everything fluffy.. there must be balance. Too many fluffy bunnies will create a Big Bad Wolf...

Thankyou for sharing that. I was born into an aetheist family, and was busily chatting to God and reading the Bible and hanging out in nature talking to fairies and addressing ghosts in the house as a child.. so I empathise. I wish I had the memory that you do. I do recall as a tiny baby finding having a physical body being tremendously confining and also deeply amusing: the seeming identification with the body that I could see my mother had was an endless source of amazement and humour to me. But I dont remember before that. I wonder if next time round I will have more clarity. I hope so. Have you uncovered anything about yourself that reveals what put you in the position of such ability to retain memory? I'd love to know. Or have you uncovered the memory via mediation?

This is such an interesting book. I would second Gerard's recommendation, very much.

Porn-Brain Study: Erotic Movies Make Brain Regions 'Shut Down'

Tenuous and tortuous, are the words that come to my mind here in response to your hypothesis. -
I heard it as if it were with me, through me, in my bedroom, beyond, ineffable, beautiful, home, relief at last, clarity, lightness, wholeness. As if it were my being, light as it should be. The 'wave' that emanates from feet upwards may or may not have come with it.. I have had that many times and not heard anyone ever mention it before. The first time I had that wave it was accompanied by a bang in my room and the sound of voices outside my door in urgent discussion about me, but I couldnt grasp what they were saying, because it was as if I had the radio not quite tuned into the station. I was alone and distressed about a love relationship being hard to manage, and it seemed my distress brought about this rushing intervention. It instantly put things into perspective. Other times the wave has accompanied life lessons that have emanated from the presence that is heralded by the wave.. it's a frequency shift.. People that have been with me and felt the wave have assumed it's haunting, a ghost.. but it isnt. The pyathagorean cord is interesting, isnt it.

Hi, that interesting perspective exactly describes a vision I have experienced. Where'd you get that interesting perpective from? I understand it might just be a compression of lots of knowledge, succinctly expressed..but also I am wondering if it came to you in a vision. I saw it long ago, before I had any conscious awareness of such matters. Wondering if this happened to you. fallintounity, I heard cosmic music. I woke one night and was listening to it. I was told it was the music of the spheres. Great gift to hear it.
