I've been reading a Kabbalah book called "The Gate of Reincarnations" and it says to achieve the highest levels in mysticism you need to have a child and fulfill the mitzvah of procreation. The Zohar also seems to hint that at all the lower levels of spirituality it seems you learn to transcend lust (and the other animal impulses) until you become pure enough to find the wife destined for you and have kids. BUT..... once you have transcended lust the sex is supposed to be heaven-shaking..... literally.... your sexual intercourse draws down a holy soul straight from the higher parts of the tree of life.... and it becomes a "G-d" experience and not just a sexual one.

I'm clueless these days about it all. I have read other accounts of it happening such as in the alchemy book by Ancestor Lu. But I honestly dont have a clue what it meant...... if it meant anything at all.

I had hundreds of out-of-body experiences over several years and this seemed just like another one except instead of a full sized body leaving my physical body from all-points all at once like a ghost, I just partially came out of my forehead in a tiny OBE body. I even saw through its tiny eyes. It wasn't a psychological disassociation but a partial OBE. It was in fact my last OBE.

He's refering to the last two masters who just came saying basically the same thing you are. People come here all the time when they want new students or are selling stuff and they have even the slightest Taoist angle. The last two at least have been Chinese Taoists and were all about saying their teachings weren't for everyone but only the select few who felt called to it..... which is what you just kinda said. I dont want to discourage you though. You seem to post more than just to get students and sell stuff. You actually seem to like it here.

The orthodox Jewish law that Besht followed was one where his sexual relations with his wife were severly restricted to one or two weeks only and ALL the miracle working kabbalists were very "orthodox". There is more to Jewish law and sexual relations than just no sex while she is bleeding. There are a host of things such as the Mikvah that had to be observed. Although when she was "clean" it is his duty to do his husbandly duties whenever she wants and especially on the sabbath. The story of the 4 who went to Pardes actually says you HAVE to be a homemaker to have the requisite balance to ascend to Beriah as does the Holy Grail story. But both also suggest long periods of abstinence.

What if the inner lights seen during the cultivation process are just something like mini-seizures? Maybe meditation plus sexual arousal winds your mind and emotions up to the point your brains snaps and you have a mini-seizure with a predictable light pattern. The more of these mini-seizures yoiu have the more delusional you become until you start talking stupid like.... "Strive for action without action"? I just like to consider every possiblility.

When I had problems with too much weird crap going on during the early stages of my cultivation practice I would go for a slow jog for about 20 minutes. I did whats called the "Airborne shuffle" which is just the slowest feet dragging jog you can possibly do without actually walking. That was the best grounding exercise I ever found and you dont need to be a runner to do it. As little as 5 minutes helped but 20 minutes was the norm. Just keep it really slow.

Funny Mal...... Edit: Update... still not immortal but I still have the Charger and I am shopping for a new one. Work is still good and I have a wonderful girlfriend (still no sex) and life is much better. I am still trying to figure out what went wrong.
