  2. What is the best martial arts?

Starjumper, who are these guys who say they have instructed Army Special Forces and Navy SEALS? I was at Ft Bragg stationed at the Special Forces Command Headquarters for many years and not once was an outside instructer allowed in, not once.
  3. Secret of the Golden Flower

Alrighty then...... your new here so I will type s-l-o-w-l-y... f-o-r..... y-o-u..... I did great until the last nine year period where I somehow failed since I am not immortal and didn't do the nine times nine selves part. I've stated that countless times on this forum. Did you read anything I posted in my Journal section Ken? If I were immortal I wouldn't be here on the computer..... I'd be chasing nymphs or something..... I wouldn't recomend anything but a healthy diet.
  4. Secret of the Golden Flower

Yep, it worked just like it said it would... just like a manual too. I prefer the Wilhelm version over the Cleary one but cant wait for Eva Wong to come out with hers. I am a big fan of her stuff and would love to hear her take on it.
  5. Hello from PA

    Welcome to da Bums.
  6. Secret of the Golden Flower

I used it as a manual and it worked. I had the basics explained to my by my taijiquan teacher but the meat of my practice was "The Secret of the Golden Flower" and mine was the Wilhelm edition. I practiced the reverse flowing method (circulating the light/microcosmic orbit) while focusing on the center of the brain (reverse gazing) just like it said and it worked. Sorry to pimp my Journal but almost my entire Journal area is based on the methods taught in "The Secret of the Golden Flower". http://www.thetaobums.com/DarinHamel-f56.html After practicing it I did make some personal changes to the order of the confirmatory signs detailed here- http://www.thetaobums.com/CONFIRMATORY-EXP...IGHT-t4248.html Here are the illustrations which are really nice just to contemplate- http://www.thetaobums.com/The-Illustration...ower-t4265.html
  7. Immortality

Who? Give me some legitimate references on the married glowing levitators please! I REALLY NEED TO GET LAID!!!!!! (Thats a joke of course.)
  8. Got any "Dragon Gate" pictures?

It is possibly an alchemical confirmatory sign. It's mentioned in Charles Luk's book TAOIST YOGA a couple times too but without a clear distinction of what exactly it is.
  9. Immortality

Celebacy seems the way to go as the high incidence of levitating and light radiating Catholic monks show. They seemed to have accidentally achieved the light-body soley with emptiness meditation, fasting and abstinence (no sex). I hear a lot of modern people say you can me married or just have sex and still be immortal but I have never heard of an instance of this. I think you can get married AFTER you become immortal though and there are stories of immortals who achieved it after having a family by going into hermitage. It seems only during cultivation that you need to conserve essence.
  10. Got any "Dragon Gate" pictures?

From what I gathered I was supposed to be immortal at the end of the nine years and after that was the transformation of the body into the body of light and then ascension.
  11. Thankyou Mak Tin Si

  21. Got any "Dragon Gate" pictures?

After thinking about it more I am not absolutely sure what it was but I have seen a top down cross section of the brain and it could have been just a psychic "light" vision of my own brain. I think what it represents is the sacred marraige of Shiva/Shakti or Dragon/Tiger. My personal theory of this stuff is that we have a soul that gives life to our physical body and we also have a yin spiritual body that gets its energy from the physical body. I think if you can connect the soul to the spirit then the yin body become yang and you can become immortal over time. I think the flaming swastika is the confirmatory sign of connecting the spirit and soul. When the soul (kundalini) rises up the spine it connects with the yin body which is connected to the body at the pineal and when that happens you get a swirling torus of energy that looks like a flaming swastika to the inner vision. The four yin/yan looking things could be the left and right ventricals. The center of the swastika seemed to be centered on the pineal. I am just free thinking and writing my thoughts here.... I seriously dont know. I used to think I knew but since I failed I am not sure about anything.
