The Beijing/Simplified 24 is my favorite form and I used to know and practice all the major forms. The 24 is truly elegant in the way it presents the 8 and 5. Enjoy the heck out of it!

Welcome to Tao Bums, White Turtle. I seem to remember a story about a Taoist master with a pet turtle that turned white. Any relation?

I wondered about that when I saw it had over 400 a few mornings back. Very cool.

Me too, but I'm the new guy and you know us "new guys".

How old are you? If your under 25 then normal lethargic self isn't normal. It sounds like your practice is trying to equalize things. Hard to tell since I dont know you. But lethargy isnt normal, its probably your diet. If you can adjust your normal self to a higher energy level you will more natually ground your heightened state after your practice. But since I dont know you I could be completely wrong. What do you think is the problem?

Personally, I found I had to put it to immediate use or it would drain away or make me a bit schizo. If you want you can try to better handle the stimulation the sexual energy by going for a short/slow run for 15 minutes to pull the energy into your legs and then do some Tai Chi or take a walk and do some mantra for 5 minutes.

Yeah, its a part of merkabah mysticism. The chariot of flames was the stable spiritual vehicle he created to ascend with and he did so bodily. Both the Talmud and the Zohar speak of it. Which were you refering to?

Chi kung apprentice, Why do I want ascension THAT bad? When I was a little kid, maybe ten, I head the story of Elijah going straight to heaven in a fiery chariot. I asked my dad if it was possible for anyone and he said yes. Then I asked my priest and he said yes too. So that sealed the deal in my mind. After that it always seemed to be my ambition but it didn't really become serious and all consuming until 1985 when my dad died, my grandmother died and my entire unit was wiped out in a plane crash. After that I got obsessed with death and gained an overactive survival instinct I guess. I wish I could say that I love the universe and want to return to the souce out of some altruistic ambition but the fact is I just dont want to die. Darin Cameron, Max is from Michigan? I'm not already immortal. Personally, I am a believer in the binary soul doctrine. But dude in any case, lighten up. The "I am right, your wrong" attitude is a bit draining.

Kundalini in my opinion is very violent stage of the alchemical process so it gets all the hype. Its the fiery uprush of energy without the cooling watery downpour. I studied it extensively and though many may disagree with me, I think it is a minor part of the alchemical process. From what little I've read of Kun Lun they are different or at least kundalini is a partial process or incomplete one in the very least of the methods of the Kun Lun.

Makes you think its all fixed.
