DONT FORGET WORLD TAI CHI CHI GONG DAY - 28th
Taiji Bum replied to GrandTrinity's topic in General Discussion
Yang family has a big shindig here in Michigan. I go every year (that I remember). -
I wrote Bill Bodri and this is his response. Your target is wrong. These things naturally happen if you just cultivate emptiness. So it's the Tao you want, not gongfu. See the free 189 pg download at the bottom of the STAGES pages (course) which goes over these things. Just cultivate to see your original nature and this will all transpire naturally. It takes about 13 years, plus or minus, but that's only IF you attained some stage of emptiness at the beginning and cultivate it all along the way. That's what people don't understand.

How can you be so diligent in one way and so lame in another? Sorry about being human. It sounded like he lived close to that guy and was attending classes or something. Sorry Hagar about not noticing you were from Norway. I wish you luck and all the joys of the world. I believe that the whole process has indeed left you more empty of life and purpose than if you had just spent yr time "smelling the roses " as it were...I do not wish to cause a rukus with this... but my mind has been blown by yr last entry here!- I totally agree. Your not causing a rukus you are seeing the truth. I failed utterly...

I have read his bio and stuff and he is a priest of 2 traditions. But why do you think he can help? Does he teach Taoist alchemy?

Strange you should ask. The major tongue curling energy circulations always happened four days before the full moon or on the 20th of the Jewish Lunar Calendar. Why?

Smile, how do I contact Jeffrey Yuen? Thanks everyone, you dont know how much your helping.

March 97-The back of the head from the spine and somewhat up from it was the luminious quicksilver of the "moonlight". You can feel the passage of energy up the spine and from the back of the head to the front of the head in the qi to shen stage very clearly June 97- was another egress of the tiny body but I dont know if it was out of the forehead again of the top of the head. December 97- the energy got to the back of my head and there was a glow off in the distance that grew brighter and brighter as I traveled to the front of my head untill it grew into a showering of red sparks. My penis has not retracted and orgasm with out ejaculation has never been a goal so I dont know about that. But the physical symptoms of ejaculation with the perineum pumping happened everytime the energy rose up my spine with the tongue curling back into the back of the mouth and the stomach sucking in without loss of essence. Breathing and everything else ceased in the "lights" like I was dead or something.

I was just looking over the new member intros and us Bums aren't very welcoming it seems. People post a hello and get an average of 0-3 posts. Very sad my fellow Bums... But hey Aunt Clair the discussion here are pretty good even if we do seem to ignore the intros.

My temper improved really fast. I remember being one of THOSE jerks who kicked and hit things when they got mad like a 2 year old and I was 25 I think. But within a year of beginning meditation I learned to watch my mind/emotions so well during meditation that it just spread naturally to daily life. I am still as passionate as I was before but I have oodles (ancient Taoist term) more self control.

Hey, Aunt Clair! Welcome to the Bums!

Welcome to the Bums Of Strange Eons. Is it true that even death may die?

Are you close to a Taoist temple to convert? Theres religious Taoism and philisophical Taoism. In the religious one you will get candles, incense, chanting and their version of Gods in the Three Pure Ones. Most of us here are philosophical Taoists as far as I can tell. Plus a few alchemists to boot. The Tao Teh Ching is an awesome book and the best on Taoism in my opinion. Welcome to the Bums. Darin

Welcome back and if it what people were saying was over your head it probably wasnt too Taoist. Taoist seek to simplify and get to the essence of things. Taoist practices and such however...

I saw another guy on Youtube do the same thing but after he passed an electrical current through his body. The guy was a TV repairman and would light paper on fire with his fingertips and light lighbulbs. I saw it and immediately thought of the Java guy. I tried to find it again but cant, sorry.

Nope, that was original to my knowledge. Good one and welcome to the Bums.

Bill Bodri's Tao School course in production...
Taiji Bum replied to SheepishLord's topic in General Discussion
I'm resurrecting this thread because I was hoping for more discussion on Bill Bodri now that a year has passed. Any more insights? I want to by his 900 page $97 book but its an E-book. If I print that out how much ink and paper will that take? I have read nearly everything on his site that is free and so far he seems legit. In the past year has he been sued or anything? -
I have had some spontaneous tongue curlings during meditation. It started with an involuntary inhale, the stomach sucking in, then the tongue curled back. After that energy poured up my spine and down my front like the micro orbit. There was also the sensation of flying upwards. The whole thing felt electrical. Since questions are being answered I have one. I've done my whole body and had my dan tien send out pulses of electricty stuff to my entire body like being jabbed with a cattle prod. After you've done the bone-breathing and you get the electrical shock, does the shock mean you have just converted the chi to jing, you built up too much jing and expended it or what?

I dont write dear diary I saw a cute girl today but I do write about anything that happens that I think might be related to my Tai Chi or Taoist Alchemy practice.

Drat! 2006 passed and nothing, nada, zippo! Maybe my calculations were off? Maybe I did something wrong? All I can think of was that the stage beginning the nine years was in 1999 and not 1997. Different sources give different confirmatory signs and time limits. I am going to have to read Taoist Yoga by Charles Luk again. I think most of the problem with Taoist alchemy is that it is second hand writings in archaic Chinese translated into English by low level alchemists if alchemists at all. On the upside since I joined this site I have had two raises and a promotion at work. So my life doesn't totally suck.
