likewise, i was obsessed with BTB in the beginning. It has a somewhat "different" effect on me, but it was so tiring, i decided to drop it and study the long form instead. After a year, when i tried BTB again, it came in so easy i was shocked. it is a challenge now for you, because your body has not learnt the instictive correct standing posture in powersaving mode. maybe, you might want to do do some less challenging FPCK form for sometime, and return to BTB. I am far behind seeing any blue light, but especially BTB is my second really working meditation. It gives so much blissful pleasure that the slower i do it, i don't want to end it. But mine works with 1,5 shoulder width, probably i am on a side track, but who cares, i am transforming to a much better soul for my heart criteria, this is one of the best working teaching i can get so far away from the living Sifus.

Mind cannot understand transmission. Only heart does. I intended to study and the learn the movements of the above posted gold, but in the first minute, I got what I need. Virtue and love counts more than any technique in the way. You will get the transmission only when you are ready, when you start seeing life through your heart as a simple habit. I am practicing only two moving standing meds of FPCK for three years diligently with no live teachers, only by the light I am receiving from this thread, by the two best Sifus of my life. Please be grateful to them and ask your questions from your heart, not from any other body part . With my sincere gratitudes, Cihan

You can google kuji kiri, an ancient system which many religions adopted some of its mudras.Although it is mainly used for sorcery, it is an excellent short path in cultivating awareness if you are virtuous, and make it your own.

Google rin and kyo mudras of kuji in.Rin circulates energy through your backbone, kyo through the front channel. They will give you much more than strenght and energy if you are "clean". Mantras and any ceremonial stuff ls optional.

Hello all, speaking of enjoyment, i laughed a lot this morning. l've been practicing FPCK (the long form and btb) a lot for three years, among with another qg and meditating with kuji kiri mudras.I always try to put some time between them, but this morning, i happened to do kuji kiri set right after the long form. First, i was amazed of the strength of FPCK energy, it really felt like a strong impenetrable shield around me.Kuji energy just did not want to engage , and i remembered a time i was trying to make love with a placid women, and LOL. FPCK energy was just like that lady.It would'nt let me burn even i happen to fall into the sun. I realised the real 'force" of FPCK finally when in contrast. Kuji kiri mudras are also very powerful, but apparently are not compatible with FPCK, with my limited understanding. Happy and fruitful practicing, cihan edit after 7 years: I didn’t have a dan tian at those times, and my beginner level practicing just seemed to circulate my existing chi, still. very efficient, but there was no juice left for kuji when I did not put a resting time between them.

Dear Sifu Terry, One quick question about the breath : Practicing after 2 years and 400+ repetititions of the long form, I finally managed to let breathing go on its own rhytm. The surprise came when I realized it is going on like one cycle (inhale+exhale) in 2 to 2,5 seconds, using only about 20-30 % of my breathing capacity. I was not expecting this at all, it is like when I sometimes notice my breathing just right after I wake up, looks like I breath like this in the final part of my sleep also. Is this normal, or am I on a different direction? My impressions : The long form (as well as the other standing static and moving forms) makes me feel like a cat, relaxed, very alert and never limp. The breath inflates my belly freely, I drop and let go my lower back and also the front lower abdomen muscles, I turn from my waist, my hands float, shoulders are down, in wide stances, the testicles drop and rise according to the breath. The form also opened up my feet close to the balls of the feet, when I take notice of them, my stomach fills with joyful energy even when I just walk, I also experience burning heat in the front parts of under my feet in stances. I used to see chi only in open air like very small sparkles, and I see them now also indoors. My mind, heart and palms sort of combine and feel like a single unit, I cannot describe it well, but the hands glow with compassion as well as reflecting the strength of my intention or will. Glow color is whitish yellow ,very little blue inside my forehead. As to shakings, a month ago, after a strong ride during bending the bows, shaking energy transformed into a white glowing with an orgasmic feeling and stopped, and after that, I only shake when my mind wanders during the exercises. These are some of my physical transformation impressions from the FPCK standing forms. My very best , Cihan

Hello Sifu Terry, Since you suggested doing the FPCK meditations in the morning immediately after getting out of bed, I started getting up early and doing the long form every day, and recently added Wind Through Tree Tops right after it. Strategically it is very effective in terms of using time efficiently. After a 50 minutes' Qigong while I am in half-sleep mode, it is a wonderful way to really wake up standing, full of energy and light to start a day! I also do at least 2 more changing FP standing/moving exercises as well as 2 other meditations each day. A while ago, a block on my spine close to my heart opened, and since then I carry the energy of this Qigong all day long. The feeling of it is always different than the previous day, but it is almost always with me. My system is in an adaptation period, I become tired early in the eveningsand need a really good sleep for the last couple of months. The moving meditations go very smoothly. I will also add the other intermediate moving exercise in the morning session when I can get up a little earlier without forcing myself, then I will have complete complementing set. I am somehow also obsessed with Monk Holding Peach.I do it every day. It feels like I try to ride a crazy beast. At first, I was wriggling a bit, but nowadays, the more I relax and breathe deep, the more I shake and blast a powerful energy from my hands/heart/brow at the same time. Today, it was impossible to stay still and keep my fingers together, I had to restrain it as I feared I might injure my neck if I let it go completely The energy seems to hit a block/blocks somewhere, and I am incapable of feeling where it is. Sometimes, a thin line on my spine between my tailbone and shoulder blades feels very hot while doing this exercise but all these effects feel OK and safe so far. I will either domesticate this beast, or the opposite will happen eventually. Anyways, I just wanted to give some information on my progress on FPCK Thanks again, and the best of everything to all the Bums Cihan

If that doesn't work : I had the same neck problem a year ago, I tried the recommended position above, did not help. I am sleeping on my back, with the pillow under my knees instead of my head, and as my back is straight, I can also mediate in this position holding the chi ball before going to sleep for a while . It's been like this for a year with no neck pain, and I when I wake up, I still find myself in the same position most of the time, so my body seems to be OK with this . The only down side is increased noise to others (more snoring)

Dear Christoff I hope you feel better soon.I am not an expert on any of the practices on this thread, but I might reflect the mirror back to you with your above quote, and wish it might help. Beause some authority states blah blah ,you need not to believe it unless it downs into your heart, you know. Beliefs confine and limit you to feed your mental parasites, you might need to open up. Don't be afraid or ashamed of any of your bodily functions, or any assumption inside or outside that is meant to scare or make you guilty especially if it is "Popular". All matters is your intent, and all of techniqes and practices are just user interfaces to achieve whatever you want to, they all work once you have a clear mind, and do some diligent study and practice. To cut this bs short: I had steady emissions since my puberty to the age of 46 every single day, and I should have been finished by now . But guess what, I started running marathons at 47. So my legs were fine. I am doing standing chi kung just fine. Reaching into my center has nothing to do with emissions in my case. I advise you to stick to any one kind of chi kung for a period, medidate regularly and don't worry.Giving attention to worries open up the doors of sickness This is my of course very subjective 2cs, Cihan

Hello all, Recently I started experiencing a fluid whiteness coming over from the top of my head and covering my frontal lobes like an avalanche, which makes my vision go bright foggy white. I meditate with my eyes closed, it feels very physical and distracts my practice virtually blocking my mind's vision. It is blissful but kind of frightening. Anybody has any comments or advice? Thanks Cihan

To clarify a little, I came across this physical entity called "Tao Bums" a year ago as my real helping teacher clarifying my way through all you good people's opinions and experiences. No other physical teacher that I noticed manifested through my 49 years in this reality, (I apologize for not crediting all the other countless & nameless entities who certainly helped me up to now for the record ) Anyways, a year ago I acquired Sifu Terry Dunn's Flying Phoenix CK series and started practicing them until now, and added another set from Sifu Chris Matsuo's Quan Yin Magnetic CK 6 moths ago,and been doing them both daily, steadily but not excessively. I have meditation experience for about 20 years, never used any drugs. and have a decent life allowing cultivation. I can cope with my pseudo-projected nightmare creations as well as some outside entities both in dream and physical realm, a golden light coming out of my hearth takes care of those, washing them out or blasting them by strong positive emotions triggered, whatever this means . This white fog stuff feels very PHYSICAL like I am about to literally die, It also comes and spreads if I allow it when I lie down. I guess it is my fear of death that I have to confront, so I asked your opinions before I put my feet in it. I understand from your advice that I am at a road sign, and will continue my practice as well as keeping an eye on this stuff. I guess I am not in any serious situation so far. Thank You All for your kind considerations, Cihan

Dear Sifu Terry, Thank you very much for shedding light on BTB pratice. I learned the moving meditations of vol 2 but jumped over them too, as well as the sitting meditations, and will incorporate them to my practice, I guess it wil take more than a couple of years to master them , and each exercise is really a treasure. I became aware of my "dream body" stuff a with FPCK, and am in the very beginning process of trying to get familiar with this realm, with the side effect of an energized, healthy body. Unfortunately, I don"t know how to bottle up virility effect too, so I guess I will remain poor but at least and at last- I have something to play with thanks to BTB Counting my breaths does not work for me , my breathing gets very subtle and faint as in deep meditation, and counting distracts me. Anyhow, I am doing 9 reps in 25-30 minutes, so I guess my pace is OK, and now that I know we can take some resting breaths in between the sets, I will reach 18 in a short period. Will try the extra slow version also. I (mis?)understand that the sitting meditations are designed to energize the upper dan tien, are there any standing exercises in the series which might have somewhat similar effects and sort of cover them in the long run ? Thanks again, Cihan

Dear Sifu Terry, I've been doing the long form almost every day for a year now, and dropped all other FPCK exercises as the log form is quite satisfactory to me and I have limited time. Then the questions about bending the bows reappeared in the forum, and I tried it after a year. I realized that I have missed quite a large part of progress by jumping over this basic exercise. It was really painful to do it properly in the beginning, because I could not do the horse stance correctly, and had a lot of strain my legs and back. Well, a year's practice of long form apparently taught me to correct my postures, I could do BTB very easily this time, and the effects surprised me. The worst effect is waking up with a boner almost every morning at the age of 49 after many years I added BTB to my long form and been doing both of them for a month now, and finally realized I am watching my body dancing with the energy in the moving meditations. The energy is a like lady dance partner to me, and I have to feel her moving and reacting first before doing my next micro move smoothly, or else I step on her feet . Minding this, the meditations are much more efficient for me and they take longer to finish. (No blue background yet, but I am melting into a grayish light) In bending the bows, we are required to do 18 repetitions in a row, but I can do only 9, as it takes like 30 minutes to do 9 repetitions and I lose the feelings after this time and start feeling tired.I will reach 18 in a period of time. Can you kindly comment on the ideal duration for BTB exercise for 18 repetitions Kind Regards, Cihan

I discovered that at night time while lying on my back, with my eyes closed, elbows resting on the bed, discarding completely about how I am breathing, just holding the chi ball above my navel in a very natural hand position start an energy flowing, which feels like a whitish light and transform my state to a very blissful one. By moving the ball without lifting my elbows, I can feel the corresponding centers under the ball react and energize, especially if I start fom the root and go up to throat very slowly. I cannot go further towards my head without lifting my elbows so I stop at the throat, because I don't want to mess with my upper dan tien with this experimental qi gong. I also experimented with turning my palms into many positions and gently focusing on my individual fingers, and find out many parts of my body can be bathed with this light by these corresponding experiments, some movements are like opening a tap. The trick for me is always to keep very slow relaxed moving, and not completely stopping for more than a minute. After a period of time, I cannot feel the the energy any more (my body's time is around 40 mins), Then I turn my palms away from my face above my belly and easily project anything on my dream body without falling asleep. (I have really vivid imaginations this way) The palms act like projectors and help me meditating. When my hands start feeling numb,I put them in the closing position on my lower dt, and go to sleep fast with wild dreams. I am not forcing any astral travel and did not experienced one yet, but I feel it will come naturaly if I do that pactice long enough. I am doing this only for a month and will keep you informed about any progress if anyone is interested. Cihan

Celestial Neigong - Practices, Insights, Comments, etc.
cihan replied to Sundragon's topic in General Discussion
Dear Mike, A very quick update & Gratitude : I got both of your books, and from the first little booklet, I really resonated with all you have written. While browsing your suggested exercise, I also realized that I had created a huge landscape as my sacred space which demanded a LOT of energy to keep, and created a small space instead like you suggested in a very mild altered mind state. Almost immediately, a dark. sad transparent form with red eyes arrived as well as a lively little blue bird who constantly flapped its wings very fast and remain fixed in the air. My attention of course turned to the unfriendly being, and could not communicate with of both of them, as I was with my family in a crowded street cafe as well as I don't have any accumulated experience of coming across the forms. the first one had talked to me by biting my left leg before . The bird remained with me throughout the day all the time except when I went to sleep. (I have not mastered any dreamwork so far). The dark figure faded away, but the bird is still with me today. I tend to forget and dismiss it as I cannot communicate with it, and could not figure out whether it is my spirit animal or protective spirit or just a nice fragment of my fantasy getting stronger by QiGong every day. Then, an hour ago I came across the info that hummingbird is the messenger spirit from the celestial world in Native American Shamanism. Well it is an Hummingbird indeed (And I am in Anatolia, on the opposite end of the globe) I did not know anything about the hummingbirds' relation with Shamanism before, so this is not any of my conscious fantasy. I will figure out to communicate with it if it stays with me. I sense that your spiritual support and interest played a major role in this incidence. With many Thanks and Gratitude, Cihan
