  2. Loving Taoism

I am proud to say Blue Moon Taoist is surpassing my expectations, she is very very eager to learn and interested in applying what she has learned in life. We both have to thank Zerostao for telling us about Tai Shang Men. BTW, BMT is my woman of whom has stuck with me through many bad times and helped me make good times as well.
  3. Opened this morning with swinging arms, tea cups and silk reeling. Now I feel like the tin man after a good oiling.

  4. Just finished up Red Lightning and double change palm (lake) work. Ended things with bringing all my energy back to center.

  5. Bagua and Taoism

So great to see you here my woman! I hope that you get as much out of this site as I have and continue to do. Thank you for practicing this DGS and Ng family baguazhang with me.
  6. Made my mind up! On a vibrating palm mission. I will master this double edged sword. This is my martial and physical goal.

  7. Kuan Yin Magnetic Qigong

I got the DGS KYMQ DVD (three in one) day before yesterday. I had kunlun experience ala Pillars of Bliss. The KYMQ I felt zero the first time except the breath thru my hands. The second time I done it (yesterday) I nearly overdone charging my brain. I DID NOT expect anything from it this method, at this rate, not sure if it will happen again, but the first mudra on the deep fatigue flow worked super! My front brain is still hot, so I am gonna lay off a few days. Whoa I feel like Trunk on the DVDs, only different, lol The DVD is what Ip Man called direct transmission of Gung Fu. If this makes sense drilling the whipping palms now, more so than the vibrating snake. preparing for the VP
  8. woke at 3, started with swinging arms, took a little break for pc, then on to standing five elements and then to double palm change. All before six. ...and I feel freakin' awesome

  11. [HHC Study] Hua Hu Cing Chapter 3

To embrace all things means also that one rids oneself of any concept of separation; male and female, self and other, life and death Does this mean we no longer look at things yin/yang? We just look at them as a part of the tao? The examples are of separation of yin and yang, no? Hopefully this will make sense.
  12. HUA HU CHING CHAPTER 3 Those who wish to embody the Tao should embrace all things. To embrace all things means first that one holds no anger or resistance toward any idea or thing, living or dead, formed or formless. Acceptance is the very essence of the Tao. To embrace all things means also that one rids oneself of any concept of separation; male and female, self and other, life and death. Division is...

  15. BaGua Help

Can u explain "we were trees, once long ago" a bit better, don't mean to go off topic, but I can feel my connection to my practice area, which much to DISMAY, (I actually cried) is getting cut down, logged out, whatever it is called, which is another way to say destroying the wood's life force. I swear I could barely sleep last night for thinking of the poor trees that got destroyed.
  16. Waking at three a.m. seems to happen every night no matter how tired I am.

  17. BaGua Help

Keep in mind Tung Hai Chuan never taught the baguazhang (then rotating palms, i think) to any beginners. In fact he only chose Masters. My point being is if you already have a foundation in martial arts you will learn and understand quicker. I must agree about the nuances and subtleties, but one's main time of learning IMO is the time spent alone, perhaps in a forest walking around some tree or trees. Playing the baguazhang is like driving a carriage. The teacher can only tell us where to go in the carriage, he can not drive it for us. Driving alone one can either go in circles or carefully explore new territory. (first metaphor that came to mind)
  18. [HHC Study] Hua Hu Ching Chapter 2

Thanks for the insight, Aaron. That cleared alot of things up.
  19. [HHC Study] Hua Hu Ching Chapter 2

In the Ni quotation, it says "Because he is good at protecting and preserving all things nothing is ever thrown away." I could use some help with this particular sentence. I know it says all things, (is this the Tao?), does it mean he takes in ALL available knowledge from the Tao that he can. I am very new at this, so don't laugh too hard.
  20. Got jow now. Bamboo palm training methods. Step, rise, drill, overturn, fall, let falling hand hit bag. Repeat! Great approach to internal palm training, IMO. Thanks Zerostao and sifu.

  21. baguazhang's ding shi animal postures, rotating them around my central axis. Shoulder, elbow, wrist.../coiling is uncoiling, uncoiling is coiling, vibrating snake palm drills, fresh energy.

  22. [HHC Study] Hua Hu Ching Chapter 1

I am anxiously awaiting to get to that part. ^^^^^
