My point in starting this topic is to help anyone who is unsure about this subject matter. I have to get that demon out of your ear and help those find a path that leads to ascension(those who have ears to hear let them hear) Also to prevent them for paying hundreds of dollars for something that doesnt lead to a high attainment. Inner power when outwardly expressed is called ging or jing. There is a natural alchemy thru this over time but it is not always so if a few things are not understood. Alchemy for the most part is about purity. The more pure your chi is the strong it will be. Some methods focus on fire or yang chi because fire is the only element that cant be polluted. Fire is used to burn the impurities away. Other methods use a higher level of energy or a heavenly chi. heavenly chi makes your body more pure without making you so yang. Due to this new purifty and new vibration level your body mind and spirit will go thru a cleansing and the transformation will start to take place. This transformation is just the derbis being removed so the diamond or real you can be revealed. A higher vibration in the alchemic sense doesnt just mean frequency. There is meaning or message in that signal. The more pure that signal is the more clear the message is. To increase your signal without making sure the message is clear is to only increase the static that you produce. - Understand. The heaven essence is a more refined than fire chi. Being such the heaven chi will cause your body to produce more essence. But understand fire is lower heaven and heaven chi is heaven so you need earth chi. Without this your internal power and body will cancel each other out. meaning this. The vibration in your body is a yin manifestation feed by yang chi. Your yin organs have to process and filter the energy running in your system. Meaning that if your internal power doesnt grow with your yin chi your body will burn itself out to feed the vibration. This leads to kidney probelms and so on. So if this develops but some how you can still train your inner power wont grow as it should because your yin isnt strong enough to make it grow your running behind the eight ball so to speak. That issue will keep you from restoring the original power. This original power is beyond yin and yang. The way of the taoist is back to the source. So your yin and yang have to be balanced for you to even be able to touch this original power. Remember this. The mind is a reflection of the spirit and the body is a reflection of the mind. So you have methods of absolute purity that deal with stilling the mind. but in higher states of stillness this mind is like a laser and when this state is reached and focused on the lower dantian it can burn away impurities and cook the ldt and awaken the power. This is basic ascension this not the high level stuff. Now heaven chi being finer than fire chi condenses easier than fire chi for fire chi's nature is to expand so isometric movements with yi is needed to condense it. Heaven chi will condense on its on in time given the natural movement of the ldt. In all of taoism the highest alchemy has always been to connect to the original source of power in the body and thru that connect to the tao, wuji and so on. Now in the martial circles you can stop on the ascension path and focus on martial things and so on. But The higher attainments hold more power. Remember the more pure your chi is the more powerful it will be. During this ascension this purification. You start to become a vessel of purity. This Yuan chi is beyond yin and yang for it came before yin and yang. It is the power the life force that spread to the inner and outer to balance yin and yang. its representative on this planet in the elements is air.- Understand When this power is tapped into it holds the original message the original signal. It will send this signal thru your entire body like a pulse this is the thunder the lightning is the vibration that will come from being made whole and yin and yang is balanced and was able to fully manifest. Now the alchemy is not over. Not even close. Remember this Wuji was the original force it went to yin and yang to balance them and this was the third force. because of this yin and yang can go back to the source. The truth is there is no such thing as yin or yang they are just states but thats all they ever were there is only wuji. This also means that yin and yang strengthens the wuji. The only real power in heaven or earth is virtue. let me take a break to explain this. When you project your chi your only projecting yourself. Your ability to project is directly related to your expanded awareness- the ability to extend your mind beyond yourself. Then the spirit Then virtue You only project out to control what comes back to you for in truth your projection will always remain connected to you like threads. So your projections go from just energy coming out of your hand till it becomes energy and mind. Then it will transmute and become energy and spirit. Then finally it transmutes into pure virtue. So when your doing a healing on someone in the future. You will be able to project your chi into them and see and feel. To know the condition of the persons energy mind body and spirit. They will describe it as feeling a divine current running thru their body- Understand. Ok so back to the alchemy. Now that the original power is restored. You must connect it to the source from hence it came. You must open the gate inside your self and tap in a higher power. This is to go into higher and higher levels of virtue and to continue up the ascension path. That is a high level of virtue. You can radiate with your own virtue but then there are masters that can radiate with heavenly virtue and just out shine you. The wuji or original chi methods of chi is the way to go. So if you are searching look for something like this that goes deep into its training.

When the human being comes into life for the first time, the one yang had first agitated. When the father and mother wed there essences, then it is that heaven and the one give birth to water, and so it is that [the element] fire is born within water. the fire is yang. When the yang agitates, then it is that the very being streams forth that manifest their being. they definitely come to life due to heaven and the one. Water is goodness(jen). Goodness means, "to be ripe " (shih). The inside of a fruit produces a kernel, and what is stored inside the kernel, this is the goodness . The yaun chi is the orignal power of heaven and this original chi in the ldt controls all of the other energy in our body. In our lives we lose awareness of this. When awareness is restored then our connection to this yuan chi is restored. You see our chiflow keeps us connected to it and when there is a significant blockage in our chi flow we cant not longer hold on to the original power from heaven and it leaves us and we die.

Well im not sure if im the one that your referring too but ill explain my case of what i know and believe. Jing means the essence inherited from parents. In the ima circles it is also known as internal power. Yuan chi is not the essence inherited from the parents it is the original heaven chi that was the first to come into the embryo that came before the spark of life. Restoring the yuan chi in the ima circles is also known as restoring the TE or restoring the original power.

Jascha, Let me explain a bit more. In about 2007 i had an experience when i was practicing the temple style. i was sitting on a bench in the park and i was running my mco and something in the energy switched it literally felt like i was being electrocuted. This wasnt mild i was about to call 911 but after a while is subsided. Years later i was doing seated meditation. Then all of a sudden everything went black then bright white and it switch back and forth really fast for a while. Then i i felt this explosion in the ldt and then i felt really powerful jolts start to come from my ldt and then then this vibration went thru my whole body. it felt like there was a little pill in my ldt. When i body up to do moving meditation i felt sparks of energy come off of my forearm and from that time when i focus on my ldt its goes brrrm. i could bust a nut and it would still be there..this new attainment was thing else and competely different then what i experienced in the past. .

Jascha, Ill try to explain a bit more. Its one thing to read about the TE its another to speak to someone who has attained it. When i spoke to master hoffman about he said it feels like a completely different type of vibration in the body and not the normal buzzing you feel from when you practice. That when your TE awakens that it is definitely a holy shit unforgettable experience. Now this TE once awakened can be used. When you focus on your ldt from that point it charges you up. After having this eye opening conversation with master hoffman and understanding that this TE was internal attained at the ldt i had to do more research to check the correlation between that and another type of internal power being generated from the ldt. So this was in 2009 or 2010. So from that point i had to do more research. So this isnt something that i discovered or learned last nite. I head the talk of te but until Master Hoffman explained to me what it was like i really didnt know. So then i went searching for other internal schools called this power at the ldt. It was a wudang school that i came across that called this power yuan chi. Anther school i came across called this power the original chi. Once i understood the terms i started researching this more. What my research lead to was the fact that even though some schools can take you to this level only some take deeper and deeper and really develop the power. For a while i was at stand still. Until a buddy asked me to research something for him. So i did and came across the internal thunder magic texts and upon reading them i realized that they were talking about the same thing it literally read like something out of a charles luk book. So then i had to hunt and speak to practitioners of internal thunder magic and get this confirmed. So i spoke to a few masters of and learned a little bit of it. This wasnt easy i read a lot of texts and spoke to a lot of masters to come to this conclusion. It was only internal thunder magic that developed the nei lei and developed it further to a significant degree.

Id say it took my my whole tenure in internal martial arts to come to the understanding that it is descended from internal thunder magic.

Then it was talking to practitioners of thunder magic and a few taichi masters and some more research that confirmed everything.

Yes i read that and all of Master Liao's books it was the correlation between that and internal thunder magic that made me take notice.

Heaven chi was the first essence to come into the body and stillness of this heaven chi gave rise to the first spark this spark gave birth to yin and yang in the body.

Heaven chi is a yang chi.

The Te controls the yin and yang in the body. Once you obtain this you can control yin and yang within yourself. The Te regulates all of the energy in the body it is the smart chip or dna of your energy.

I wanted to make a side note on body heat and heaven chi. First id like to say that this comes down to the nature of the chi that you are dealing with. heaven chi is more subtle. In this i mean that one day i was practicing like usual and all of a sudden i got like atomic hot. So i can confirm that with a heaven chi method that you can and will produce alot of heat.

Jascha, I cant speak for Sifu Lin but I know how i came across my findings and overall end conclusion maybe and most likely they are a little bit different. It is only some internal thunder magic (there is external thunder magic as well and everything in between) that applies to what we all consider neikung. No there are many ways there were originally 7 taoist thunder magic sects 1. Sanskrit Primordial Breath Thunder Magic Sect: This system was used by the Qing Wei sects, and claims the legendary female Daoist Master Wei Huacun as its founder. Master Wei Huacun is also considered to be the original founder of the Mao Shan sect. It is included the following three Daoist schools founder of the Mao Shan sect. It is included the following three Daoist schools: • The Dong Zhen Hun Tun Thunder Magic Sect (Mao Shan). This system was developed and practiced in the South of China. • The Qing Wei Thunder Magic sect (Hua Shan and Fujian). This system was developed and practiced in western China during the early Song Dynasty period (420 - 478 AD.). • The Ling Bao Thunder Magic sect (Gezao Shan). This system was developed in the South of China. 2. The Qing Xu Thunder Magic Sect: This system was used by the Tai-Yi sect. 3. The Huo Shi Thunder Magic Sect: The Fire Master Thunder Magic system is attributed to Daoist master Wang Zi Hua. It flourished during the mid-Tang Dynasty (618-907 A.D.) and was believed to have originated on the Southern peak of Heng Shan and on Mount Tian Tai in South-East China. 4. The Shen Xiao Thunder Magic Sect: This system was attributed to Daoist master Wang Wen Qing (born in 1093), and it was used by the Shen Xiao order, headed by Daoist master Lin Lingsi. 5. The Qing Ming Thunder Magic Sect: This system was developed in China during the Southern Song Dynasty period (1127 - 1279 A.D.). 6. The Yu Fu Thunder Magic Sect: This system was developed and used by the Zheng Yi Celestial Master sect in Longhu Shan. 7. The Bei Ji Thunder Magic Sect: This system was developed and used by the Quen Zhen Pole Star sect in Wudang Shan. Plus a bunch of modern and smaller sects all of which with different but similar ways of training.In my pursuit of this it was a lot of easier to find external magic meds and a bit harder to find the internal thunder magic meds and what they consisted of. Temple style is very different from when you read it in the book then from dvd then from an instructor there is a lot of knowledge in the temple style that is not on dvd. In the temple style and in taichi alone there is the martial path and the spiritual path. These paths do have some differences in the training. The charge up I was referring to is a specific meditation. The energy mind and spirit must be pure to restore the one heaven chi in the body. How this is done just depends on the method you train in. Restoring the original energy in the ldt is the same attainment no matter what lineage you train in. Taoists go backwards to the source when cultivating. So restoring your jing entering stillness running the mco is all in attempt to restore the power of heaven in the ldt it was this pure heaven essence that first came into the body. Internal Thunder Magic is also used for healing and exorcisms.

Now the mechanical methods use isometrics to condense the chi in the ldt. The methods that use heaven chi the heaven chi will condense on its own. When the dan awakens or is developed it feels like a pill in your ldt. It is my theory that the mechanical methods condense chi in the ldt to create this pill to house the dan. Because the heaven methods let the inner thunder occur on its own. The mechanical methods use internal isometrics to achieve this. This dan is the elixer and the field that feeds it is the tian. It is my contention that this elixer feeds and sustains the immortal fetus. But this is just my opinion.

In internal thunder magic they refer to the cords as worms that report to the 5 thunder general that which is reported to them is all of your doings. In the thunder magic texts that ive read they also speak of the breath congealing in the ldt. Unerstanding where Zhang San Feng came from and understanding internal thunder magic which is all neidan i was able to realize that all of the alchemy of the ima is watered down internal thunder magic meaning this. Before taichi existed as pai. it existed as an alchemic method. To internally restore that power of heavn in the body and reunite that from when it came to ascend into the heaven realm. Taichiquan is the fist of that or the fist of supreme ultimate.

This is interesting i was about to make a thread called internal thunder magic and its descent into internal martial arts. I was looking thru my posts and i realized that i never really posts my sources so ill give one and quote from it. Then maybe others will see what i see. The first is from the "Basic conditions of Taoist Thunder Magic" by Florian C. Reiter This is from pg22. "It all Came from a point of agaition of the one spark, which was the time of the absolute beginning of the greatest ultimate (taichi)." Jascha, Condensing breathing is one specific med. In the temple style you are to spend signifigent time doing a med called charge up. This med strengthens your kidney chi while at the same filling you and charging you with heaven chi. When you do condesning breathing without doing charge up your going to rob your body of yin chi and if condensing breathing is not done right your going to pollute your chi. Condensing breathing is really a circulation between you and the sun and moon chi its actually not the easiest thing to achieve. Charge up also attunes you to the pulse of the tao condensing breathing if attained will enable you to radiate with yang chi from the sun and breath with it and radiate with yin chi from the moon and breath with it. On to your second question the merging of yin and yang that energy is the orignal energy. It is the orignal power of heaven and it is very pure. In most of the internal thunder sects they use the power of heaven to awaken the inner thunder and restore the original heaven chi in the body that came before the water essence of jing. On the immortal fetus. i dont have much personal experience with it but i will tell you what i personally know. The heavenly immortals who have realized the power of heaven inside themselves and outside them selves. use heaven chi and restore the one internally that gives rise to the spark. This is the method that i prefer. This is all an attempt to store chi in the real dantian and develop the dan. If you dont use the meaven method and use a more mechanical method like the mo pai. Its more like this When you breath down to the lower dantian that heat that is created is from the friction of the chi moving around outside of the dan. When the chi is compressed and the cords are cut. Then it will move around the body. Until it is merged fwith the yin ys the diagram below shows.

It was the dream of the founding fathers to give man what he has never had before and that was freedom. Since the dawn of civilized man ; man has always been ruled by another with no personal rights or boundaries from the ruling elite.

True but some what incorrect for numerous reasons like most taichi masters are also qigong masters and that jing transmutes to shen in time but that does not mean you can manifest your internal power as light. To express your internal power as light is a technique and not always directly linked to the same level of internal alchemy. Like i said before Jing has another meaning as manifest internal power and there are many different types of expression.

I use to think the same thing to about jing until i spoke to and learned from other internal masters. Jing has another definition of manifested internal power. This power is mostly expressed in some type of palm strike the cultivation of this and the strike actually makes up some whole cultivation methods. There are palm strikes that can cause cancer which is a particular jing expression.

Yes that would be jing as well. A very particular type of jing as well. Heres the thing that most practitioners dont know. Most if not all internal palms deal with jing but there are different types of jing. Kungfu styles has different types of jing. Internal martial arts has different types of jing Taoist preists has different types of jing it is this that makes up the different type of palms and strikes. Some of these use similar or the same jing expressions but they all have their own unique jing expressions or internal palm strike and method to develop it. That strike sounds like it from taoist thunder magic.
