I agree with you that feeling can be misconstrued, however the deception is not within the feeling. Relinquishing self relinquishes the deception of feelings, ime. I don't even remember the last time I felt a negative emotion. Oh yes, it was in failure to show my brother the light. Then it wasn't really negative per-say, it was like a skip in the beat of metta. No anger, fear, sadness, regret, or anything like that for quite a while. The negative emotions are from attaching strings to the positive ones. Selflessness reveals that, thus freeing the emotions to be experienced without repercussions and systematically denying the ownerships. Instead of having or owning love, love becomes a place to go. The self inherently owns the emotions, that is a given string, the rest depends on what else you attached. Pride, Tradition, Lineage, Religion, Culture, all of these are prominent attachments.

DECENT human beings, qigongers, help.

If that's true then you probably just expelled all the energy you have cultivated. Displaying power is a waste of energy, and those with the power don't waste the energy which is more valuable than all the dollars in the world to them. If you wanna burn holes in shit with a laser, then get a job and buy a laser. Maybe you can ask Aaron aka Twinner for help, if he made it back to his feet, he may be willing to help you as some did him. -
Pineal calcification is the most probable cause considering working towards MCO. Clean out the fluoride with some cilantro + chlorella. There are other ways to decalcify, but herbal and natural is cilantro + chlorella imo. It would also be beneficial to stop drinking tap water, spring water or even distilled is better. You can also use less toothpaste and never swallow it, or switch to baking soda and mouth wash to brush your teeth.

How would you view the universe from day zero?
Informer replied to ChiDragon's topic in General Discussion
Very thoughtful post Chi Dragon, there is much potential for it to help people understanding what is oneness, I think. -
Time is the delay of everything catching up to you. Or you catching up to it, depending.

Macro cosmic orbit is pretty similar, microcosmic is only within. Generally when people write MCO they are talking of microcosmic orbit. I would think that to see samsara and know samsara, nirvana would also have to be seen and known, or a better word would be "grok". I have equated realization to grok. Which you understand the extent of realization in comparison to knowing, I'm sure. Realizing Nirvana would bring realization of samsara tho, right? I think this quote that V posted might aid to the correlation of Macro CO and Nirvana. "Know the state of pure and total presence to be a vast expanse without center or border." Longchenpa

What If i tried to correlate "nirvana" to understanding yin? Or Nirvana to a Macro Cosmic Orbit? I think they are almost interchangeable, yet not within the same perspective. Realizing samsara is realizing nirvana, right?
-
Thank you anamatva! So Nirvana is achieving freedom from samsara and samsara can still be utilized. There is just no samsara in control of you? (well, there never really was, but it is realized) That would make a lot of sense.

Since no caught this I will point it out to you Vmarco, you said : "Descartes' observations only included the fives senses of sight, hearing, touch, feeling, and taste; " Feeling is not included in the 5 senses, you left out smell. There is not much of a way for feeling to deceive you, either it is felt or not? People are deceived by their definition of what they think is love, not by love itself. They attache things to it, which causes them harm later. Like piling a bunch of stuff on a table, then the tables vanishes, what happens to the stuff?

I think I get it. Samsara is the current on the surface, and the deeper current below the surface is nirvana? So what is it all to do with suffering within samsara? Must one achieve the depths to end suffering? If you seem to be suffering Xabir, is it because of samsara?

Hi, Anyone in Beijing or Chengdu mid April to May?
Informer replied to Suz from Ling Qi's topic in Welcome
This is probably a wild question, but when I think of China and Tea, I think of Ganoderma Lucidum or lingzhi, which your name seems to be quite similar too. Do you work with lingzhi at all? Or perhaps your parents? -
The question is in regards to samsara, I don't see that you answered it? Nirvana is breaking Samsara right?

Anyone want to take a jab at this? "Do you think one can be without suffering yet be with samsara? Instead of breaking it, only see it and utilize it?"
-
Thanks for the reply. I wonder if you would indulge me a bit further with your probable insight into the matter of samsara. Do you think one can be without suffering yet be with samsara? Instead of breaking it, only see it and utilize it? I like this quote: "'Know the state of pure and total presence to be a vast expanse without center or border.' Longchenpa" I'm going to use it to make a sig, thanks.

How would you view the universe from day zero?
Informer replied to ChiDragon's topic in General Discussion
Day0 would mean that everything was one. So there is nothing separate to be perceived. -
I am curious V, do you think your realization coincide with Dzogchen? I have just recently been looking into it and it seems pretty interesting. One point of differences I assume is that you consider Buddhism closest to complete from most other teachings or paths. I have found this to be the closest for me in regards to Buddhism on the Dzogchen page from Wiki: "From the perspective of Dzogchen, the ultimate nature of all sentient beings is said to be pure, all-encompassing, primordial awareness or naturally occurring timeless awareness. " http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dzogchen Would you agree with the ascertain can be concluded as true? That awareness is that which is now?

Haha, no, I'm a student if I have to be anything

Let's say you are consorting with something that is not of this plane. This entity says that it is your ancestor, how do you know if it is telling the truth? How do you know that you aren't being duped into subservience. I mean from a demons perspective, what better way to get a living entity to do your bidding? This is the problem I see with lineages, if people do live on after death then there are malicious and malevolent entities as well as kind and loving ones. How do you know you are consorting with your ancestor or a demon? Even more than that, how do you know it's not just your imagination? I'll admit I've seen some pretty extraordinary things, although I have never assumed any of it was anything other than unknown.

Global climate disruption is the most serious threat facing the planet today. Studies conducted by the world's most respected climate scientists demonstrate that we must act collectively and immediately to make significant reductions in the the amount of greenhouse gases that we are releasing into the atmosphere. Our failure to act will result in catastrophic and irreversible consequences for all life on this planet. Countries around the globe are attempting to address this problem. In an agreement known as the Kyoto Protocol, most industrialized countries have agreed to cut their greenhouse gas emissions. Unfortunately, for years the United States steadfastly refused to ratify the Kyoto Protocol. Even now in 2010, with an administration that claims to understand the crisis we are facing, the federal government is still unable to respond with the type of bold action that is needed to begin to reverse the decades of uncontrolled burning of fossil fuels and the continuing destruction of the planet's forests. Without the active participation of the U.S., the world community's ability to slow the heating of the atmosphere is unlikely. The U.S. alone produces 25% of the world's greenhouse gases. Currently, China and India are developing quickly are are modeling much of their development on the unrestricted consumption of fossil fuels. Without a strong and demonstratable commitment by the US to reduce its carbon emissions, it is unlikely that China and India will act on their own. While the U.S. government struggles with a political response to the need to reduce GHGs, a growing number of States are forming regional alliances that are establishing limits on greenhouse gas emissions. http://www.kyotousa.org/ This is something that really pisses me off. The world is trying to work together to reduce our emissions, but we don't have a say in our countries stand on the matter. This is another reason for direct democracy, because even though we know what needs to be done, and are willing to sacrifice a bit of our comfort, it doesn't matter because a couple guys says so. The only ones who would take a stand against the Kyoto Protocol are those who put greed above need. People who put profits above people, above the future, and above the planet. I am pissed off that each person in the united states don't get a chance to have a say in this matter so that we may all decide. I am sick an tired of a couple guys assuming control and assuming to be our voice. It's bullshit.

If we are limited to only talking of our selves and not things that matter then what is the point in even having a "GENERAL FORUM" to discuss and yes, debate topics that are important to everyone? I really don't take pleasure in talking about myself over important events and things that really matter in the world. Someone getting but hurt for losing a debate is hardly any reason to make up your own rules for what should be considered a General Discussion is it?

You have been misleading from the get go Steve. Mr. MOD. I will even prove your biased that I have long suspected. I wasn't talking about Hundun and Seth in the report even, I was talking about Hundun and Seth giving the new guy swirlies. In the Wildgoose thread, even though their jabbing prevailed in the end.
-
Again you prove to fail, as I attempted to make a different one to comply with these very words. Again you show a biased and censor me, moving and combining the separate thread. Why won't you do what you say? You blatantly moved a separate thread intended to be on topic, so what was the point in saying anything? The above quoted words are obviously not what you meant or intended. It is obviously a lie. http://www.thetaobums.com/index.php?/topic/22108-global-revolution/page__st__752 There is a double standard going on here and it is against me personally and I want to know why.
