How to determine someone's level of enlightenment?
Informer replied to goldisheavy's topic in General Discussion
Why do you guys think that people believe that thier way is better or the best? Because they actually begin to feel the aspects, yet only know the way they were taught. Then people decide to argue over meaningless semantics. What is real is what is inside, Who cares how it is described. -

How to determine someone's level of enlightenment?
Informer replied to goldisheavy's topic in General Discussion
Nope, more I as an individual being a single aspect of a greater spirit which connects to us all. Simply energy, and a culmination of all of the elements entertwined. There are many aspects upon realizing the true self. Each aspect has a coinciding chakra that acts as a gateway to that element. Until you reach the third eye of intuition, you cannot even ponder enlightenment in my book. Some may call it upper Dan Tien. Once this chakra is activated it is a gateway to the greater self. So spirituality/enlightenment isn't about science or big bang or anything like that for me. If anything I would attempt to use spiritualit to define aspects of the objective world. What I know is just an interpretation of my own experiences. There is a great source of energy within the third eye/upper dan tien. Divine energy. -

I think they are asking you to shift your perspective to one that coincides with thier own that they might understand better. As taking on the role of teaching, this is your job. -

Seeking/intuition. -
You should define what self you are referring to here, as in this context it is incorrect to say self so vaguely. As later it is stated "perfect self-realisation of Noble Wisdom". I have thought much of the same thing comparing totality to water. I also agree that the mind does change, but prefer the word evolves. As one considers things from different angles and gains multiple perspectives, each new one will thereby better define the earlier ones. I really don't have anything to disagree with other than a minor typo? The intuition is at the location of the third eye or upper Dan Tien, much similar to other teachings. Each of the chakra's are part of this path, each a gateway to another aspect, as the ego is in the chest near to the heart, love, and fire.

I really don't see how you got that -
If that is what you are referring to then OK. I haven't gone through it yet, but it is bookmarked and I do plan on it. This one right? http://www.sacred-te...bud/bb/bb08.htm I could probably summarize not-self by saying you are not the ego, but the awareness that the ego arises. And any attempt to look at this awareness from awareness is futile, as an individual awareness cannot arise in that same awareness. I know you are poking and prodding at the ego, yes it is still there and it has its utility at times. As to speak or illicit an egoic response, what better way than manifesting your own. Much of what I have said has been directed towards Seth in the same manner, yes I can see it . . . It helps me to determine where he is exactly, and he doesn't appear to be in the void, although he is condoning the path there. Destruction of the true self.

What would you classify my view as vaj? I see a false self - ego A true self - without ego A higher (greater self) - Intuition (which is part of supreme self, yet independent version) A supreme self - Which is like pure and total awareness of a collective sort. (tao) -
Just watch how they say "LOOK" and "FOCUS" these are the keywords for the hypnosis. Without these words it wouldn't work for them at all.

It is very disturbing. I don't think they actually got Seth totally, hopefully. *crosses fingers* I'm thinking he got the Cartesian Theatre part of it, and saw through ego as self. It really doesn't matter how strong your mind is in these matters though, because it is your mind that is pitted against itself. If you keep repeating that you don't exist over and over and over to yourself, and trying to look at awareness with awareness, your own mind attempts to solidify this untruth as your new perspective. You could tell a child a lie over and over, and eventually he will believe it, especially if there is no one to tell him different. If he starts saying there is no self in anyway, and he don't exist and never has, nor does anyone else exist, then I will be worried.

It isn't necessarily your awareness, and anything that you are aware of, has risen within awareness, therefore is not awareness. The power of deduction -

How did you conclude that there isn't an awareness? I'm not asking for your authority on the matter here, only your own rationale and proof. Need is a very strong word, and pretty improper as presented. No one needs to contemplate anything really . . . -
Thanks for explaining, you are correct, I misunderstood.
-
I see, yet you had exclaimed to me to try it, therefore reccommending after I have already have tried it, and you have no Idea what it is, because you haven't tried it. Thanks man! Sometimes it is best to say nothing.

need to add the media (url) /media tags around it to imbed properly. Media and /media should be within the brackets, or click insert media icon.

If you are saying that there is a self in anyway shape or form, then that is not the teaching I recieved from RT. Do I exist Seth? Do you exist? Does anyone? If you simply got beside your egoic structures, then good for you! There is more though . . . Like awareness, which would be impossible to look at with the very same awareness, which can cause that catatonic zombie-like state. The only way you could actually look at yourself is by reflecting yourself. That reflection is what is generally termed the self yet not actually the self. So you see the reflection for what it is, yet you still haven't managed to look at self with self . . . Only the illusion of it. Like how can an eye be seen by the same eye without reflection?

True self. Not clinging, it is my reality. I am awakened to this reality, which may be why the differences are easily discernible to me.
-
Do you exist at all H.E. ? Do you subscribe to thier teachings? What is your angle? Do you think that Seth thinks he exists at all? Do you think you exist at all Seth? Do you think I exist for that matter?
-
Yeah, you must not have read what I wrote. As nothing you said apply's . . .
-
I have no Idea what you are talking about. Do you?

Yeah, people even had told me that I appear vacant during those times. When I look back and fallow my thought processes I still wonder how I had accepted such a thing as totality. I find it very disconcerting and realize how powerful the mind really is. It is promoted and part of the teaching of RT to remain in that manner, and bring other into that manner to remain. Which is why I am so adamantly against it. Not because I'm jealous of someone, or out to get someone. It is simply because I care about people. Maybe it is of great benefit to Seth, and he isn't experiencing the placebo effect, I can't know one way or the other, but I do know my experience and how I had felt then in relation to now as well. As do many other's who are on that "list" of enlightened (rofl), who no-longer have anything to do with that teaching, and found out after many months how wrong they were. But you won't see that, all you will see is the deceptive and honkey dorey post that are allowed to remain, unlike the many other's that have been deleted. Which is exactly why they screen members who join the forum manually. To prevent anyone from presenting an opposing view. It is a cult.
