I think it is a common misconception. In actuality Love is another manifestation of energy. The one about jesus and selflessness, but the Christian's don't have the process of power parts that the others have, such as tao have. The Metta as realization is missing from many teachings and apparent in others.

I think it is as simple as listening to your heart about each issue to determine the intention, if the intention is without love then disregard it, no need to label it or put it into a group. Then we inevitably arrive to the issue, "What is love really?". (Something to realize, or awaken to.) A form of the formless form . . .

I think that internal alchemy is more about realizing what Christians refer to as the "Holy Trinity".

I like it because it seems to be oriented towards creative aspect of self, which seems to be only generally more of a feminine strength. I think that is due to the structures we were raised into though. The balance is the key.

I think that it is saying that: By continually seeking peace, (through self inquiry) peace will become you. (it is your nature)

I think our being prone to mistakes is why we have eachother, to help us find them. In this sense a student and teacher is no different, one just makes less mistakes (generally). If you can help to find a mistake, the teacher should be thrilled, as for that moment he was the student, and once again learning.

I think that is for you to decide, I would suggest to do some research on things instead of believing people, find out then decide. There is a bunch of stuff that has already been posted about the subject on these boards as well as on the internet in general.

Don't get the wrong Idea here, I'll just share my experience and choices about what I found to be helpful for me, because it is helpful to me it may not necessarily also be helpful to you. The only medicine I really use is Marijuana, which helps to take the "edge" off so to speak. Marijuana is criminalized and demonized as harmless as it is, so I feel it may be taboo to speak of, if this is the case for you then simply disregard what I say. Magic mushrooms also have a profound effect on the third eye in my experience, but there are many who do not have such pleasant effects/affects from the mushrooms. Things being as they are, I rarely bring up such things, but it is what it is.

I think it is the same when trying to clump a bunch of people together regardless of the label. (In this case "Spiritual Teachers") There is not really much you can say that will apply to them all, other than they are most likely human and prone to mistakes. We all are (I think).

I think that everyone has an affinity to their personal path for one reason or another. What led you to your path and kept you going along that path, or if you switched around paths what was the reasons? I think we can all learn a lot from one another through our experiences, as subjective as they are, the subjectivity can help us to better relate to one another by presenting alternative perspectives to our own. This helps our awareness which stems perception to be more like water, more fluid and less fixed. One of the most important things I have found and continues to be of use, is to never keep an absolute or fixed perspective on any matter of spirituality, which in turns allows alternative perspectives and the ability to communicate without hostility or being offended/defensive. Even if ones view seems to be contorted and illogical, it is possible to use a rational mind to present the flaws in the perception, by assimilating the perspective to see the flaws. You don't necessarily the perspective, yet utilize it. An open mind.

I don't see it as being "over us" but for us. Maybe you can correlate some of your experiences with other teachings and thing we talk about on the boards?

I don't know if your present moment is as present as you think. There are tons of things to do in the present moment, and one of the most important is strengthening the spirit. (Our spirit) Have you done work with self-inquiry, metta or MCO?

It doesn't bug me at all, I know there is no truth to whatever you are thinking you are hiding, only belief disguised in mystery and intrigue. (Yes, you should probably keep it to yourself and not even hint at it since it is such a valuable secret to be so haphazardly guarded by you.) Flaunting a secret and not saying or revealing the secret is proof of intention in and of itself. (imo) Truth is in plain sight, "the secret" is your method of coercion or being coerced (prob both), and I am not susceptible to either. Truth is present for all to determine the validity, it needs not hide away.

I don't believe you discovered anything others haven't already discovered in our thousands of years of being human. The difference is that they wrote it down and shared it with everyone. The grandest secret is that there are no secrets.

Pantheism is fairly similar to the Tao.

Younger in the USA is better chances at success than someone older, because one who is younger is less likely to have calcified pineal gland. Age is not the issue otherwise, either there is capability or there is not, in this regards.

I would disregard anything anyone says that it is being or you are being something special or rare. It is an aspect within us all. Anyone who says they have secret for you is trying to sell you something. Don't believe, be skeptical, find only the truth you can know and leave the rest unknown, (ignorance is bliss). You don't "NEED" a god to be spiritual, the honest ones don't (imo). For instance, the collective unconscious or universal conscious can be used in place of god. Even the universe itself can be used, the universe being god is the definition of god within panthiesm. Only one with greed would keep spiritual evolution a secret. There is not a secret, all is within you already.

I think it is more to help focus at that point. If you do it and feel pressure or like magnetic interference inside your head, then I think its likely related to calcification. (It might help to break up the calcification, considering the properties of vibrations can effect physical elements, like highs that can shatter wine glasses etc. , but just speculation)
