NOW: if we take that into account and knew about the time between death and dissection for art we could talk about the question of "sacredness" in a different way taken out of mere religious context, if one is willing to believe in "souls of the body"... I have done "dissections" and it would be "nice" to have access to methods that really do help facilitate the learning process... Regarding the other discussion. Yes. It is art and one can and should question if one should make art out of cadavers... to me it is indeed on the SAME level as that artist who had a kind of terrarium, put in mices, hamsters and other living beings, I think he called it: "shock of the creatures" or something else and suddenly pressed the body during an "exhibition" and they fell into a mixer below and and and... this is all I want to say about the quality of art... Death is happening in a context and by "beautifying" it, I feel, one is beraped of its sense and quality. But all this is just opinions. A happy Hi, with the following I am reffering to your topic line... I tell you something about the "credibility" of acupuncture: recently in Germany a BIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIGGGGGGG study has been done. I don t know just hooooooow many doctors were part of it... all I know is that a major university was involved in the statistic part... The study "proved" acupuncture to be helpful in cases of headache and vertebral pain problems... what only few people know is: first of all the docs doing the acupuncture got paid for it. Believe me (I know cases)... they did not oly treat headaches and vertebral stuff... "you have eye ache? You sure have a headache too, don t you?" Then the docs did not even have the same kind of education (ranging from few hours to many), different years of experience etc. etc. etc. Where is the validity? Interestingly state insurances now pay (a little) for cases of gonarthrosis and headache based on that study... BUT: only recently I found out that in one state of Germany there is no accredition for acupuncture given BECAUSE there is NO SCIENTIFIC PROVE FOR IT. That is double tongue here, is`n t it? There are many studies out there showing that acupuncture is quite effective in pain relief and in other cases as well. Look at the indications given by the WHO. But is there any real proof beyond that? Many different explanations are given of what the meridian system is, what the medium is that is sending the informations throughout the body... be it a special fluid, tissue or nerval structure not yet fully identified... As far as I know there is no REAL understanding involved accept what we know of "reflexology" acupunture... The Proof of Acupuncture one can only see in practice. The results you get with the methods applied. Even bad methods produce results but proper methods produce even results in cases were bad methods fail... The credibility of acupuncture is only to be found in the practice and experience. IF for the first time in your life you feel something in the needle THEN you know there is something. If you then manipulate it this or that way and you get this or that result you have the proof that what you intent to achieve actually is achieved. sorry for ranting Harry

Cool thing, Sean. Here are just a few: 1. His technique relies not only on sound but the right breathing pattern, right? What does he suggest people to do if their breathing is restricted for whatever reasons? 2. What is his experience. If people do that sound all the time. What "happens to sperm production"... will people have wet dreams once in a while to "clear the ducts" or is that problem solved by doing the sound on a continous base. 3. You are young. No need to hurry. Take your time to read through the forum. You will find lots of information on different teachers, you will find pros and cons for one and for the other. Take one teacher and you can BET that you will find students that are delighted, former students that felt misleaded no students at all and still judging, complaining etc. etc. etc. Before you judge a person by what others say meet them and see for yourself. The question of which path is a proper one is a pretty difficult one to answer. If there is any true answer at all. I personally believe you need a proper master with a proper lineage behind him to truly move forward... others will chime in and say that you just have to look inside yourself and all is there. You will get so many different views, opnions, vows etc. that at the end of the day you are more confused than you are now. Again. Read through the forum, take your time, and at some place you will feel something resonating for you and you are much more interested in this than the other stuff. Go for it. Find out what has for you... if upon seeing or doing it does not resonate with you any longer look further... most of us have been searching for many many years and we are not all following the same today... Allow me to chime in. I have a sincere wish to the best of my possibilities give what I have learned about what my teacher said in order not to let certain things stick in people's mind he has clarified elsewhere. He does not simply advocate eating meat. What he said was that it depends on the person... and many seem not yet to be ready to stop eating meat. This is not saying "you shall eat meat"... The cruelty of eating meat really is something I am struggling with sometimes... and the idea put forth in the story sure is a shocking one if it were true. I don't claim any knowledge on this... I personally feel that if we start on this path we are not right away able to stop certain things. And I very much hope that some things just develop naturally and we can then let go of them easily... Harry

Yes. I have ingested most of it... and probabyl wouldn'T do it again if I were not to have a pretty save resource for it. It is like with taking drugs at a party... you never know what is in it. I did try some of it for about 2 monthes and it did not help with my memory difficulties... better stick to a healthy diet... today I would advise amazon herbs and Dr. Schulzes Superfood plus what some advocate: fish oil capsules or whatever...
