It is the whole life thingy which I am extremely disappointed with. What happens if you know the whole world is awake except for you? How would you feel if you know the gods are deliberately suppressing your higher spiritual faculties but have freed the rest of the world? How would you feel if you are punished for living life like a brainwashed zombie slave whose only interest is the material and indulgence of the senses? Yet everyone else in the world was not punished but even encouraged to continue indulging their senses like animals? How would you feel if you are designated to carry all the world's sins without you having any say in this matter? No, I don't think a mere broken heart comes anywhere close to a broken spirit.

what if i am extremely tired and disillusioned with the whole world? do i let go of the whole world and just do what i need to do?

To prevent any further misbeliefs that I am a possible misogynist, I am going to post a picture of a woman whom I considered as being one of the few divine women in the world. This woman is 50 plus years old but she looks so much younger than her age. As beautiful as this picture is, she looks even better in real life if you can believe it. Also, she has never married before in her life and she has never had kids. When she was younger, she was involved in an accident which paralyzed her and left her incapacitated in a hospital bed. She made a promise to the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas that if they heal her and help her walk again, she will dedicate the rest of her life to spiritual cultivation and helping others. She changed her fate and karma in other words.

i have the book but it seems too complicated for me.. too many visualizations involved and it is quite impossible for me to fall into a trance state when I visualize too much.. don't you think that visualizations add more chatter to a monkey mind?

This is why I want to meditate lying down. 1) I either fall asleep 2) I don't fall asleep but fall into a deep delta trance state instead. It is a win-win situation for me. Better than having my monkey mind running wild all night long.

This would be the best advice of all. Starve yourself if necessary. I am currently on a juice and soymilk fast ready to move upwards into a water fast anytime anywhere. The fire ain't got nothing to burn when there's no fuel.

sometimes i suffer from bouts of insomnia that's usually when i had too much stuff on my mind now instead of tossing and turning about on the bed, i thought i might use the time to do an all-nighter lying meditation instead i just need to know how others on this forum have performed their all-nighter meditation practices, that is all.. there ain't no need for too many naysayers wishing to turn me away from such a common practice..

Due to the recent exchanges on this board, I like to bring up a topic about the Hypocrisy of Double Standards of Humanity. There are a lot of Meat Eaters in this world. Hell the majority of the world's population are Meat Eaters. Yet when these Meat Eaters see an artist putting her terminally ill cat to death and then using that cat's skin to make a handbag, they scream bloody blue murder and hurl countless death threats at the cat's owner. What's the difference between killing and skinning a cat (which is already terminally ill) for its skin and killing/skinning cows for their skins, meat and other by-products? Nobody, not the government, not the corporations, not the media, not the whole world, not even my family and parents and even any spiritual teachers have the right to determine what my challenges and commitments are. Least of all, a nobody stranger like you, bubbles. Only I, Tulku, get to decide what Tulku's life, challenges and commitments are. No one else. Except for the Creator that is. Trunk, for this post, I can choose and delete because it is short and I want to emphasize something which I felt about so strongly in my heart that I have to say it twice.

Humans are basically biological animals with the potential to become Gods. We are biological animals, true, but we also possess spiritual higher dimensional instincts as well as the lower animal sexual instincts. Having an animal biology is separate from possessing lower animal sexual instincts. A human can only transform himself into a spiritual higher dimensional being aka enlightened immortal by destroying/transcending his lower animal sexual instincts. You even said yourself we should not follow animal behavior. Having a TV, DSL connection, fridge, couch, an urban address have nothing to do with being spiritual or not. You can be living in the mountains with no couch, no fridge, no TV and no DSL connections and just be trapped by your lower animal sexual instincts as those living in the cities. For eg if you are living in a mountain cabin with a woman. Doing all these skeleton meditations have nothing to do with your personal identity. A monk can do all these skeleton meditations as well as a hotshot lawyer working in NYC. Are you gonna say that city people have no right doing all these skeleton meditations? What would the rationale for this be then? Are you saying that city people must engage in lustful practices and thoughts or they would be punished? I can go about meditating on skeletons in the wilderness as well as in the cities. In fact, it is much easier to do skeleton meditations in the cities as you have see more people everyday. Who says one has to join the forest tradition to become a cultivator? Who says one needs a teacher to cultivate? Who died and make you the president of this planet? To start walking on the long road to Enlightenment, all you need to do is to read this thread and then meditate at least 6 hours on curbing lust everyday. Sooner or later, a higher dimensional being would visit you in your dreams or while awake if the gods have not put the appropriate human teacher in your path by then. Who are you to decide what my responsibilities and commitments are? Who died and made you a god for you to decide what my life is? Are you an angel? Are you a buddha? Who are you to decide what my life is or should be? Btw, I am slowly but surely making headway on my spiritual progress. Everyday, my lust gets smaller and my meditation sessions becomes longer and deeper. Dreaming about a path I will never undertake? Are you kidding me? The Gods and Guardians of the Higher Dimensions judge us every moment with a critical eye. They know our every thought. For one to tread the fastest path to enlightenment, one must not give the Gods and Guardians of the Higher Dimensions even the slightest chance to fault you. No God can fault you for giving Love and Happiness. But they will strike you down for harboring even the slightest thought of Lust and Greed. Speaking from personal experience.

Those with the siddhi of reading auras or divine/wisdom eye will know the truth of my words and I know there are many in here with such capabilities. Purity comes when a soul is free of material desires, especially desires for sex, women, marriages and children. You can lead a life of purity in the city btw and not be an ascetic. This Divine Woman is now an International Traveler and living/working in multiple cities and countries btw.

Karma and Life can be changed. Yes you right. A lot of people came into this life with pre-destined karma contracts. They are suppose to get rich or bankrupt at a certain time. They are supposed to get married or divorced at a certain time. They are supposed to have children or not at a certain time. But all these can be changed. Enlightment and Immortality ain't Spiritual Materialism. How can there be Materialism in the Spirit? The words Spiritual and Materialism are contradictory and mutually exclusive. You can't be Material and Spiritual at the same time. This is totally Impossible. As you said, there are many beggars, impoverished people living in countries with no food or even electricity. But you know, this is all in their karma. If one day all these beggars and impoverished people made a promise to the Gods and Budhhas.. "I promise to lead a life of spiritual cultivation from now on. I aim to be an Enlightened Immortal at the expense of marriage and children if need be. I swear to spread the teachings of Enlightenment and Immortality to everyone else." Their fates would change as it has always been the Gods and the Buddhas, the higher dimensional beings in charge of our lives. We humans have never been in charge of our lives. We are only responsible for our own behaviors and reactions and that's it! I can tell you right now. If a human can forgo any material happiness in search of Enlightenment and Immortality, he will be a completely Perfect Jewel with no faults or flaws whatsoever.

BTW, I don't consider my life to be a life of an ascetic. Rather, my life is a life of purity. There can be no purity in marriages nor sex. Are people who are trying to ban my marriage-and-sex discussions marriage fundamentalists? Are you all sex fundamentalists?

Who are you to define what is a real monk and what isn't a real monk? Who are you to define what type of life the masses should lead or shouldn't lead? You say that everyone should find it pleasurable to lick anuses. Well I say that anuses are disgusting things and only disgusting people would lick anuses. If you have the right to propagate the "happiness and fun" of humans leading lives like animals, then I have the right to disseminate the wisdom and intelligence of humans leading lives of morally and spiritually upright immortals and buddhas. You have the right to talk about the way of the animal. I have the right to talk about the way of the immortal. You have the right to call the immortal path unrealistic and crazy. I have the right to call the animal path animalistic and degrading. As long as both of us do not hurl personal insults at each other and only criticize our respective teachings, I don't see why either of us shouldn't post our views on each other's paths.
