  1. why cut off your willy when you can cut off your mind?
  2. Give us the proof that Nan Huaijin smokes, has 2 wives, eats meat, drinks some alcohol, and even cracks dirty jokes. It is very easy to slander spiritual masters on the net but these spiritual masters know the seekers know the truth more than any blasphemous slandering liar.
  3. just count the number of enlightened masters whom have renounced versus the number of enlightened masters whom have not renounced and you will see my point
  4. mate i have had more sex than you could ever dream of .. which is something i deeply regrets up till this very day
  5. "I know nothing about Void because I have never been there. It's hard sometimes for me to just clear my mind." Thank you MH for this very enlightening conversation.
  6. How do you differentiate between detaching from and removing desires? How do you know you have not actually removed the desires from your soul when you said you have already detached from them? Desires just like anything else in the universe can be killed. Desires are just fake illusions conjured up by the consciousness remember? EDIT: I wanna add something. You mentioned before about how our reality is one giant fake illusion and we have to convince ourselves every single minute that every thing is fake. Now I ask you. Who is or who are controlling this reality. Is it possible that there are now higher dimensional beings who are in charge of controlling various aspects of this reality? One way of how they control reality is to introduce desires in the consciousness of humans so humans would be forced to behave in certain manner? For eg, I want that human male to talk to that human female for whatever karmic reasons. So I introduce the desire of sex into that human male so that he would go approach that human female. How do you know that desires are not feelings or thoughts introduced into our consciousness by external beings?
  7. As you said, MH.. "I know nothing about Void because I have never been there. It's hard sometimes for me to just clear my mind."
  8. I have already said that even the highest ranking taoists cultivate to give up all desires like the buddhists. Check out Quan zhen dao.

  10. I have never told you to sell all your possessions and desert your loved ones.. I merely said.. Eating, Sex, Fun and anything that indulge the senses is WRONG! Obviously if you are already married or have kids, tough luck! You had unwittingly put yourself in a death-trap and you just have to deal with the consequences of your choices. For people like me who had yet to fall into such death-traps yet, then it is vital for us to avoid such traps if we wanna focus on enlightenment.
  11. so your idea of attacking your own mind is to continuously convince yourself that everything is fake during your waking hours? that is the only way to remove desires? surely there are other ways of removing desires as well
  12. the question is that if one engages in sex without being involved with the passions, then why bother doing it in the first place? see most people have sex for the purpose of mindlessly blowing their senses away with the feeling of joy which arises from sexual relationships.. so if you are telling someone to being disinvolved with the passions and joy of sex while having sex? it is like telling a starving beggar to not feel happy while eating a freshly cooked piece of marinated steak with italian sauce.. totally impossible for most people and even if it is possible, then why engage yourself in sexual acts? if the purpose is to be dispassionate, then why bother engaging in acts which give you joy in the first place?
  13. how is letting go of your marriage, spouse, children, and even the addiction to good food considered to be painful? how is letting go of the desire for more pleasures painful? did i ever say one has to whip himself constantly and inflict other types of pain on himself in order to be enlightened? aka those christian monks found in the da vinci code?
  14. truth is the truth.. people who cling on to their marriages, sex, good food, cars, wealth, happiness are like subhuman losers to the ones who realize that the most important thing is consciousness and enlightenment itself. now i am telling everyone to donate all your savings and properties to charities .. everybody gotta eat to survive to live to cultivate.. but do you need good food to survive? do you need marriage and a mate to survive? do you need lots of good friends and party mates to survive?
  15. for every single one individual who have attained enlightenment without renouncing anything, there are at least 10 more individuals who have accomplished the same feat by renouncing.. when climbing a mountain, there is no need and it is suicidal to needlessly add weights to your backpack
  16. you are wrong, there is every reason to rush it.. see you are still thinking that the void = death and loss how do you know the void doesn't also = unlimited blissful wisdom along other privileges as well?
  17. The Buddha didn't go back to a life of wealth and sex after enlightenment. He was only 35 years old and still possessed lots of sexual vitality at that age. That alone proves my point that one has to renounce everything in order to successfully seek enlightenment.
  18. As I recalled correctly, the Buddha didn't go back to being a prince or re-engage himself in a life of marriage and sex after enlightenment. This is because he knew that the enlightenment he had worked so hard for is far more precious than petty women, petty children and petty wealth.
  19. it is precisely because i have compassion for your needless suffering that i am stating my views and observations of spirituality.. otherwise i would kept my mouth shut and avoided the countless naysayers who keep pounding on my words of truth.. anyway, i said what needed to be said and the rest is up to you..
  20. At least the gods have the potential to know what or what not to do. Humans and lesser creatures are too blind and too addicted to their senses to tread the correct path. The Buddha himself had to go through extreme ascetic cultivation before he can reach enlightenment. How many city practitioners have achieved enlightenment? Versus how many practitioners who achieve enlightenment by renouncing the city way of life i.e. career, marriage, kids? The numbers speak for themselves. In Buddhism or Taoism or Hinduism, to become one with the void is the highest apex of the path. But you wouldn't know as you have obviously not become one with the void yet. I do not think you are qualified to comment on this matter as you have not achieved any progress on the path of enlightenment yet. All my words are gleaned from the observations of previous masters who have tread this path most of whom have renounced the city way of life.
  21. i have never saw myself as a bodhisattva
  22. There is nothing to believe or disbelieve. We humans are wretched things, born at the mercy of higher dimensional beings. We may not control our fates totally but we can control our nature. We can change who we are, what we are and I know not even the higher dimensional gods can do a single thing to stop us if we decide to align our will totally with the void.
