  1. i can tell you right now.. you are suffering more than me.. because you are totally trapped by the grips of samsara and you don't even know it.. it is like the stockholme hostage syndrome.. the hostages are imprisoned for so long by the criminals that the hostages do not actually want to be free from the grasp of the criminals after being so used to being hostages for so long.. this is why i say you are suffering more.. much more than me.. at least i know where is the way out.. even if i can't get to it atm.. you can't even see a way out.. or should i say.. you don't want to get out..
  2. you know your values are really dubious.. if one doesn't hunger for enlightenment and escape out of samsara.. what should one hunger for then? happiness? the indulgence in the never-ending loop of samsara?
  3. do you consider meeting that special man or woman of your life as a basic need?
  4. This is because you do not delve deep enough into the meaning of our existence. When you finally realize the emptiness of samsara and the perpetual trap which humanity is in, you will do anything to escape this trap.
  5. I am not happy nor am I sad. You do not have to believe what I say. Your karma will determine your fate.
  6. Being offered and accepting a bowl of rice is the Middle Way. Being offered and accepting sex and/or a whole table of feast is indulging in greed. I do not hate or love samsara. Nor do I hate or love enlightenment. There are no emotional attachments to either samsara or enlightenment. Yet to break free of samsara in order to gain enlightenment.. one must reject everything about samsara.. Especially the samsara of Lustful Love..
  7. The Buddha never gave up asceticism.. Did he return to his marriage after he gained enlightenment?
  8. if you need to ask, then you will never see why it is a curse..
  9. True Love can only exists without Lust. True Happiness can only exist without Conditions. For one to live without Lust or Conditions, one must evolve himself out of Samsara to be a God again. Otherwise the Conditions or Lust or Greed or Hatred .. these seeds will always lie in Samsara or the subsconcious waiting to hurt the seeker.. In the higher dimensions, there is no lust between beings., Just pure unconditional love like brothers for sisters.. or sisters for brothers...
  10. Asceticism is the Middle Way. Regular life is for those who wish to indulge themselves in the sufferings of samsara over and over again.
  11. You forgot.. or you never did know.. that humans .. petty humans can never be the Right Person. The only Right Person .. the only being worthy enough of being anyone's Right Person.. is God or the Lord Creator or the Lord Buddha within each and every person. So the True Curse of Humanity is that they spend eons and countless lifetimes looking for that Mr or Miss Right in other people not knowing that the true Mr or Miss Right lies within them!
  12. you can forget all the shit about the special woman or man and even meeting your basic needs.. just go on and be a monk and nun and evolve straight away.. this is called cutting yourself free from samsara..
  13. If you think that it is all worth it to be reborn and suffer again and again in samsara just to find that piece of short-lived illusionary impermanent happiness with that "special" woman whom you would probably get sick of 20 years down the road.. you had better readjust your values, matey..
  14. Suicide is a highly negative act if you have not practised sufficiently to have gained control of the death process. There were Lamas in Tibet who committed suicide through phowa3 because they knew that death by execution or through torture would not enable them to maintain awareness of the death process. If we cannot experience awareness in the dream state, then it is unlikely that we will experience awareness in the bardo state. If we cannot maintain awareness into sleep, through dreaming, and into waking, then we stand little chance of maintaining awareness through the more profound experience of death, bardo, and birth. For those of us who have not developed such practice, the state of mind at the moment of death is important. Dying with a happy mind is beneficial. http://www.spacious-passion.org/shared/text/s/spacious_passion_ch_05_infinite_09_happy_mind_eng.php
  15. To people bashing desire, hope, and wants

    Cold Innocent Ascetic Child
  16. To people bashing desire, hope, and wants

tradition texts tell practitioners to cut off all desires and even hopes because the mind would be clouded and muddied by desires and hopes.. the Buddhist's definition of hell does not only mean the dimension of hell itself.. it also means that the mind itself will be in hell as it is twisted by desires and hopes.. and the state of mind at the moment of death will lead one's soul into the respective dimension.. if your mind is at peace, your soul would ascend into higher dimensions.. if your mind is in hell, then your soul would descend into hell
  17. To people bashing desire, hope, and wants

this is why i say god cannot help humanity... only humanity can help themselves..
  18. To people bashing desire, hope, and wants

all desires, hopes and wants are impermanent.. so what if you become a billionaire or have a different woman every night?.. what are you going to sacrifice to achieve a goal or a target which is totally impermanent in the first place?.. if i say i can satisfy all your desires, wants and hopes but you will lose all your chances at enlightenment .. you will lose your chance your only chance of destroying the cycle of rebirth and death.. will you still wanna satisfy your desires and wants?
  19. To people bashing desire, hope, and wants

to accept joy in one's existence is to accept sadness in one's existence.. you cannot have one without the other.. this is why the buddha advocated the middle road.. no joy no sadness just pure emptiness of the void.. this is how one gets to end samsara and the cycle of rebirth and death..
  20. To people bashing desire, hope, and wants

The third noble truth of Buddhism is that if you end desire (or, rather, the perception that you need something for happiness), you'll end suffering.
  21. The Way of War

Aaron, I like to further expound on my previous post. You mentioned before that religions are too violent that they eschew war too much. Now I am talk about a simple truth right now. The true teachings of enlightenment and immortality exists in every culture. The Chinese, the Tibetans, The Hindus, Essenes, Knight Templars, The Japs, etc etc. But every time these teachings begin to flourish, the forces of darknesss will gather and find every means to destroy the teachings of freeing humankind from their bondage. Look at how the Chinese destroyed their own culture and the tibetans. Look at how the Vatican destroyed the Knight Templars. The Essenes were destroyed as well. Jesus was one of the Essenes and look at how he was crucified. If anything, I wish that the past spiritual masters have been more warlike. That way, they will have the means to defend the teachings which can free humankind from those who want to see such teachings destroyed. WHy do you think so many spiritual masters are in hiding now? Because they know that the forces of darkness will use the ignorant humans to destroy them if they ever step forward into the public.
  22. The Way of War

I have met many Chinese people too. Good ones. Bad ones. What really pisses me off is that a lot of Chinese people are too heavily brainwashed by their govt propaganda. Especially propaganda against the Japs. Now I am not condoning the Japs for committing such atrocities but at the very least, the Japs show enough respect to the Chinese temples not to destroy them or commit mass murders against the monks. The Chinese on the other hand have committed major destruction of spiritual teachings at least twice in their history. The first major destruction occurred during the Qin Emperor's reign. Second major destruction occurred during the Mao TZe Dong's reign. It is one thing to kill innocents during war. But if you destroy spiritual teachings and kill monks, then you are committing a sin way beyond killing your own parents or your own children.
  23. The Way of War

The Shaolin Monks have this saying. Better to injure than to kill. I don't think one can achieve any good by rapes but if one kill in the name of justice or if one is ordered by the gods to kill, then it will be a justifiable homicide. If the police in every society is given the power to kill and the public accepts it, then why should any religion be condemned for defending themselves against those who wanna destroy such spiritual teachings?
  24. The Way of War

There are many cultures who have warred, pillaged and destroyed in the whole bloody history of mankind. But never has any one culture destroyed so much spiritual knowledge likke the Chinese. The Qin Emperor did it. Mao Tze Dong did it. Not even Hitler or the bloody Japs have the gall to offend the gods. Only the Chinese are bloody arrogant enough to think themselves bigger than the gods.
