There are guardians called nagas who actually warred against demons and devils seeking to destroy the buddhas. If the Buddhas do not have such guardians to actually destroy evil and other obstacles, humanity would not have been lucky enough to receive buddhist teachings. Same principle applies to every religion. Every religion has warlike guardians and protectors and angels who see it as their sacred duty to destroy all devils and demons seeking to corrupt humanity. Violence begets more violence? Are you kidding me? I am not sure if Osama is responsible for anything but I know Hitler is. Give me a chance to obliterate Hitler when he was just a baby and I would do it. In a heartbeat.

If you refuse to follow the commands of your gods, I'd say you have far serious problems than just a mere psychological problem. EDIT: This is the problem with humanity nowadays. They think themselves to be greater than the gods when in reality, we are like ants compared to the gods.

The Japanese may have raped and killed women and children but at least, they didn't murder monks and destroy over two thousand years of spiritual knowledge like how the Chinese persecuted the Tibetans. Give me a choice between choosing a race who rape and murder innocents and a race who murder monks and destroy spiritual knowledge, i will choose the former anytime because it is the lesser of two evils.

If the Universe gives you the power & authority to destroy this old world so that a new, better world can be reborn.. do you have the courage to destroy this old world? If you have the power to transform the whole of humanity into a race of Enlightened Immortal Gods .. but first of all.. you have to destroy the world and humanity as we know it... will you destroy this old world?

Destruction is different from Murder. Destruction goes hand in hand with Rebirth. But Murder means complete perpetual annihilation. There IS a Difference.

If a Buddha of Death comes forth around the end of this year 2012 and spread his Teachings based on the Death of Maya and the Death of the Cursed Cycle of Rebirth and Death, the West seems to possess more courage in their hearts to accept the teachings of Death than the East. Cos the Eastern Cultures, as spiritual as they are, have more fearful about Death than the West.

just go and live among the asians in an asian country and see how attached those families are to their parents, spouses and children.. why do you think the asians have a higher level of spirituality than the west? not because they want to be enlightened but because asians are more afraid of Death than the west.. all their multiple temples are meant to give the worshipers venues to ask gods for more money, prettier/richer spouses, better heath etc etc.. but not a single temple teaches its worshipers to deal with Death in a very positive, loving manner..

hey friend, with all due respect.. Confucius's sayings about all the family and country bs is all a bunch of hogwash.. pie guy is already determined to cut off the cycle of rebirth and death so why do you pile more illusions upon him like "family" and "country"? you should know that "family" and "country" are nothing more than illusionary extensions of our ego.. our minds create the definitions of what is or what is not "country" or "family".. also i have posted some great tips for pie guy to chew upon if he is really serious about spiritual attainments.. telling him to go on living in normal society is only going to detract him from his goals..

this is nature of the game which the universe has created for us.. the universe and higher dimensional beings will continually prod us and test us for cracks in our resolve to attain enlightenment.. this is why more likely than not.. guys like pie guy and me are not born with silver spoons in our mouths.. we were born onto a path with so many obstacles blocking our spiritual progress that more often than not it seems impossible for us to reach enlightenment.. yet these obstacles can easily be removed if the higher dimensional beings can lend a hand.. however one has to go to the extremes in order to force these higher dimensional beings to help you with your spiritual progress.. whether it be through getting more money so that you have a more comfortable place to meditate in or finding a legitimate teacher willing to teach you the real techniques.. so you have to be ready to give up everything.. your spouse, your children, your parents, your family, friends, career, cars, houses, money.. hell you have to be ready to give up your life if it needs be to show these higher dimensional beings that you mean business about reaching enlightenment.. more than one practitioner has been thwarted in their spiritual progress by their spouse or girlfriend.. why do you think that is so?

to be frank with you pie guy i think you are making excuses to hold off your training.. i was once like you.. thinking i have to make some money first or get married to a supporting partner and buy a house, a car, etc etc .. you know get all the financial and moral support for my training first before actually going through my training.. well guess what life doesn't work that way.. the universe doesn't work that way.. for any practitioner to achieve attainments.. he has to be ready to go through any and all hardships.. he has to be ready to sacrifice anything and everything to reach enlightenment.. if that means living on the streets as a beggar begging for scraps in the daytime and meditating in the night-time, then so be it... with that said.. our world has evolved to such a stage that one doesn't need to be a street beggar in order to cultivate... there are thousands of monasteries all over the world which doesn't require anything for you to join and be a monk.. sure these monasteries may require you to put in a few hours of work to do maintenance work for the monastery but on the whole.. these monasteries will give you a whole lot more time for you to meditate and cultivate than if you hold two jobs in the material world.. because with the way things are going right now.. i think the world may end before you ever get anywhere near saving enough for the acre of land and that camper.. my advice to you would be join a local monastery.. or a foreign one.. you can study the language of your choice of foreign monastery while living there as a monk while at the same time getting free food and board with meditation time.. worst come to worst.. go teach english part-time in an asian country while living and meditating in a monastery.. the world does not have much time left and i can assure you this world will end around dec 21 by the end of this year so if i were you, i would push forward with my cultivation in double quick time.. PS you mentioned special legitimate schools.. well trust me.. if you dedicate yourself to the basic meditation knowledge found in the public domain while living as a monk.. you will find yourself as a disciple in that legitimate school much faster than if you were to hold two jobs saving up for that acre of land and camper.. in fact, i dare bet everything i have that you will never find yourself to be part of a legitimate school if you continue to waste time and energy working 2 jobs.. the universe will never open that door for you if you aren't ready to give up everything.. this is the harsh lesson which i am being punished for right now.. i had to learn to be ready to give up everything on my path/fight to reach enlightenment before that special door actually opens..

most people live in denial of death because their egos can't take the truth of reality.. they want to live in their illusion and dreams forever.. why do you think hollywood is such a roaring success? because they specialize in selling dreams to people and keeping them there.. now imagine if hollywood is to churn out film after film about death and cancer and impermanence.. firstly.. no one would watch these films.. and even if they watch them.. then the whole world will stop indulging in lust and begin working on their enlightenment/immortality.. and once the critical mass of humans who began working on their enlightenment/immortality is reached.. what happens then? the entire human race becomes a race of gods .. and the powers that be.. the demons and devil overlords lose a major hunting ground of prey where they can feed on.. this is why the demons and devils and their puppet governments all around the world will use the media to keep the masses in blissful ignorance.. why do you think all the legitimate schools have gone underground and not being taught in universities today? why do you think not a bloody single mainstream university teach its students about the cold dark reality of death?

now it is clear from these absurd statements of yours that you clearly know nothing about enlightenment.. the objective of all true spiritual enlightenment is to destroy your human ego so that your divine godly ego will emerge.. and how do you destroy your human ego? by removing all attachments and all desires which are held by your human ego.. who cares whether you are self-destructing? is death that bad? btw.. there is no way you can return to the spirit if you do not choose death.. whether it be through physical death or death of the ego or even both.. you are the escapist here.. you are clearly escaping from the fact that we live in a holographic matrix and you choose to do nothing about it..

Hello Pie Guy It is good that you think a proper school should be able stop the cycle of rebirth and death before you die. Let me ask you then. Do you think it is important to eliminate all desires.. especially sexual desires.. in order to stop the cycle of rebirth and death?

so are you saying that all priests and monks are unsuccessful in killing their egos? are you saying that all priests and monks are all sex criminals in disguise? you are clearly blinded in believing that you lack the power to kill off your ego .. so many monks have successfully destroyed their egos and do you dare call their attainments fake? now that is being egoistic..

lol.. i would rather jump off a tall building than to let the ego master me.. my ego is well on the way to being destroyed..

it seems you are not trying hard enough.. i am already on the way to killing my ego and its desires and i am already winning the fight against the demons.. you know even the jizo Bodhisattva has the courage and compassion to venture out into hell and teach all the demons and asuras residing there.. are you going to call the Jizo Bodhisattva a demon?

better be careful when training with flails.. they might hit you back instead..

hrmph.. so many spiritual masters have successfully destroyed their egos in the past.. even a half-f**ked practitioner like me has partially destroyed my ego.. i think everyone in here should stop making excuses about failing to destroy their ego.. because it can and has been done..

well i determine that you are insane because you have completely let your ego take over your mind and you don't even know it.. thousands of spiritual masters have destroyed their egos and you say it can't be destroyed? what rubbish.. i think you should meditate to get rid of your emotions and think about what you just said carefully.. me thinks you have completely let your desires control you and you don't even know it.. i think you should go watch the film peaceful warrior .. watch the vid which i attached to this post and you will understand one must kill the ego and let it go..

emotions are energies used by higher dimensional beings to control humans.. this is why one must destroy all emotions so as to free oneself from the control of these higher dimensional beings.. i am a source of great power, not great love, and there are billions if not zillions of beings who seek to leech my power and i would be crazy if i were to let these leeches suck me off.. the body is my trap, my cage and my ego is the cage owner.. but within 12 months, be rest assured that i will kill my ego and destroy my cage .. one way or another.. every single day which i work on destroying my emotions and desires, i only grow more and more powerful and confident.. today.. i felt more powerful and confident than a few months ago.. i extinguish the fire with the pure power of consciousness so there is no ice or no fire.. only pure consciousness.. you on the other hand.. dig yourself deeper into the rabbit hole every single second you indulge in your emotions..

if you choose to delude yourself that your suffering is not because of your desires, what can i say? all sufferings come from chasing after impermanent desires.. that is the fundamental truth.. happiness is like the highs of drugs, cigarettes, alcohols and sex.. you allow yourself to be addicted to this happiness/high.. you will be controlled by your desires for this happiness/high until one day, your desires will tell you to go kill someone in return for this happiness/high and you will do it even though it is wrong.. how many drug addicts have rob and murder innocent citizens just to fulfill their highs? how many rapist murders have rape and murdered women just to fulfill their sexual highs? how many people have died of smoking due to their need to attain happiness from smoking? i allow neither sorrow or happiness in my being.. i only allow emptiness, void, dispassion in my being.. that way.. no desire or emotion will ever cloud my thinking.. this is truly called the middle path of buddhism Is it not the truth that desires give you suffering? Is it not a lie that desires does not gives you suffering?

oh i have learned from my past mistakes but i don't think you have learned from yours.. this is why i am now walking a different path.. the path i am walking on now will finish at the end of this year, one way or another..

Who or what determines what is normal or abnormal? Who or what determines what is sane or insane? You? Your ego? Go suck on ice cream while you still can cos there won't be nothing to suck on come this time next year.
