Yes it will. You will just have to defocus the beam. Overall, the laser thing looks unlikely after I have watched the video. Unless the whole video is a stunt.

I couldn't understand his system but I was interested in his diet ideas. He claims that the most potent and useful parts of fruit and vegs are stems, skin, and seeds what almost everybody throw away. Can anybody comment? Karen?

Actually, there are more 'invisible' lasers than visible ones. They emit infrared rays and are very efficient at burning stuff.

Because the USA economy is in worse shape than of those two contries. The USA is in fact a bancrupt (see Roubini recent report; and that guy, former USA Treasury Comptroller). The USA is a major and critical customer for Canada, but apart from that there is little in common including lifestyle values.
-
Why do you think Canadians and Mexicans would like to merge with the insolvent USA?

You might do simple yoga stretches/breathing in kidneys in times when you feel not up to more concentrated meditations

A registered nurse in Canada gets $110,000 per year PLUS HUGE pension benefits. This is when a median income is somewhat 35 - 40 thou. I would say that pay is adequate comparing to other qualified jobs.

Do you add running smiling energy along the central channel in the end? With that, the Inner Smile suddenly becomes quite an advanced level of practice. P.S. BTW, how does Inner Smile coexist with Kunlun from your experience?
-
Would that mean that a cultivator maintane his\her individuality while merging with oneness? I agree that calmness as nothingness is not an inspiring goal for cultivation. Could be some misreading/misunderstanding/lost in translation.

Have you ever tried to make a cell call from a tunnel/cellar/underground? This is a long-time problem for miners, they can't communicate by air.

Amaizing clip, rain. Thanks a lot! Actually they have 32 clips there. Looks like all of them are of the same excellent quality.

Caves have been chosen for obvious practical reasons: protection from elements and animals. The humankind as a species has evolved living in caves in Europe in Asia. The real question is that stone caves isolate from electromagnetic waves which is the Earth electromagnetic field and cosmic particles. That raises a question how the practitioners would receive all those energies such as Earth, Heaven, Yin, Yang, stars, Moon, and so on.

Hi 'exorcist_1699, Could you please elaborate a bit on that? I have always been confused with the idea of dissolving an ego to the point of ceasing to exist as an intelligent being. My understanding has always been that we have evolved for some reason. That is just discarding our complex mental structure as redundand would be wrong. It has to be applied somehow to something, perhaps helping to evolve the oneness. Hope my words make some sense.

Must See Video BBC: Physicist Talks About The Multiverse

Thanks, mwight Pure joy. I just finished reading Neal Stephenson's Anathem, there are some interesting ideas on multiple cosmi as well. -
Let's don't confuse a lack of money with priorities we set. When you say I don't have money it actually means that you regard something more important than your study of dao to spend the money for. Even a high school student would have their $20 pocket money they can spend on a weekly class. Think of priorities as most people sincerely think they don't have money.
-
As long as you spend the money you have earned, that's fine. But, the USA for a long time has been spending borrowed foreigners' money. Sooner or later, when you have accrued so much debt, you either dump you curency or default on a state debt. The examples of that are numerous. If the USA is willing to not spend, then it might dodge the bullet of a default/dumping the currency. Not likely to happen though.
-
Some confusion is perhaps because politics and economics is mixed together in that sentence. The part country being "for the people, by the people is about the USA being a democratic polity which is true. The part The age of America is over is about economics. Are the American people ready and willing to spend less to recover? I'm not sure.

Yeah, this is the real problem. There is always some cleaning or shopping or eating out or some other weird stuff.

I wonder how is sushi in terms of iodine. Lots of sushi here in Vancouver.

This is where I got upset: People discuss how bad fluoridised water is and it turns out that a cup of grean tea (which I enjoy because it is just tasty) turns out to have more fluoride than daily tap water consumption. I enjoy the taste of tea, so rather than drinking weak tea I better drink just water. The other thing is that sencha (japanese kind of grean tea) reportedly contains much less of fluoride. But again, I understand all that hugely depends on the actual field where tea is picked. Yoda, How do you take kelp, as actual food or as a supplement?
-
After having read this topic, I've done some research and found out that green tea contains a great deal of fluoride. With my 1 litre per day of green tea, it looks like I overdose significantly. I'm a bit upset with that. Should I drink green tea with seaweed instead of chocolate?

Trunk, Would you say that Chi nei Tsang technic is somewhat like accupressure (at least for some points)? Have you tried CNT?
-
Try thinking not of a single meditation but of a system. After you have absorbed one technic you will want next one. So a system could be better. I personally try to do Mantak Chia system. As for stillness meditations you have there Inner Smile - MCO - Fusion - Kan & Li. I understand that other systems have about the same sequence (could be wrong here). What is good with system: if you feel that next level doesn't resonate with you - go back to the previous one (this is what happens with me )

Isn't it clear? Alcoholism.

Would You Like To See A Sub-Forum Just For Qigong/Neigong/Cultivation Discussion?
idquest replied to mwight's topic in General Discussion
First I wanted to vote yes, but then stopped. The problem is that has to be enforced somehow because some people will post anywhere without thinking much. Is it realistic to moderate such a subforum effectively?
