Gary J. Clyman interview & biography "You can!"
Wells replied to Wells's topic in General Discussion
That's the point! Many people just get a superficial glimpse of Clyman's personality and directly feel disgusted because he seems loudmouthed and arrogant to them (and because they have a fragile personality that makes them thin-skinned to such an attitude). That's a big loss...for them! Because when you get to know him a little bit better by speaking with him, you realize that he is a guy who really wants to help people...and he has the right "tools" to do so. Also, he is the only master I know of who gives his students the exercises and secrets of his nei gong system ALL AT ONCE and RIGHT IN THE BEGINNING (all the other masters DON'T do that because they want to keep you under control)! You buy his Nei Gong set and then you got HIS WHOLE SYSTEM...which is damn huge! The price for that treasure is in my opinion a joke and I already recommended Clyman to raise it's price about a good amount! Also, I know that most masters tell the "outdoor" and even "indoor" students only inferior versions of the exercises that won't bring you far, no matter how hard you exercise with them. The details that make the exercises REALLY effective are missing. But the students never get it until they maybe become a favorite student and get the better versions! Only a few favorite students get the real deal. I know some of these secret details from Yang, Jwing-Ming who is also very straight-forward and others and beside Clyman's system I know only sytems where the beginner exercises are only rip-off versions. Students become played for a sucker. Clyman is different, he gives you the true and most effective versions of the exercises all at once right in the beginning. I did post this interview to give a hint to his real personality behind this wall of grandeur. Gary is MUCH nicer than all these masters out there who smile warmly in your face but control you secretly and keep you small! But maybe people want that because it gives them a feeling of safety and not having to be responsible... Yeah, maybe I made a mistake here, maybe it's good that only the strong and insightful will look behind Gary's mask and will get his treasures! Maybe the others only would hurt themselves with his powerful stuff as other masters may claim (as Bruce Frantzis for example)... Hmm, what do you mean with ? -
Another "Missing Link" Fossil Found to be a Fake
Wells replied to Immortal4life's topic in General Discussion
So how do you explain the multiplicy of the species without evolution? How do you explain the existence of multicellular organisms like animals at all? Concerning protozoas, you could say "OK, cell organelles became by accident out of chemicals and by accident fused together to cells". But every next step in direction of a multicellular organism would already be evolution. Maybe all over the world after earth had cooled down many protozoas developed and everyone evolved to the finished form of a multicellular organism like man, tyrannosaurus rex, shark or eagle. All species existed more or less since the same point of time after evolving from protozoas, but due to environment variables and fight for survival, many species were simply extinguished and others mixed with each other. Mutations also occured. But never evolved one finished species into another! ...and at some point in time the aliens tripled our brain size. Edit: Sure, then why do still protozoas exist that have not evolved to multicellular organisms? Don't know! -
Another Lei Shan Dao/Yin Yang Gong Master?

Thanks! Allright, that seems a little strange to me... Yea, I heard about that. On the other hand, in every Taichi system I know of, tan tien is not only aready there but it contains the "original" chi or "One Chi", what is the source of our being. This energy declines in life until it burns out and you age, get sick and finally cease to exist and the central goal is it to replenish this energy to it's primordial state. But the sources and statements about the position change between the two that were mentioned. (this one is interesting: http://www.taijiquandao.com/03paginasingles/01introduction/10thedantian.htm ) However, in TCM the original or primordial energy is called "jing" (pre-natal jīng, also sometimes called yuan qi) and it is supposed to be located between or in the kidneys and this energy is also related to ming meng. So, when I put the clues together, in my opinion the position right between navel and ming meng seems more likely to be the truth than the other position.
-
VERY INTERESTING! Could you please quote a belivable source who says that the dan tian is really exactly behind and not under the navel (while standing )? It would make more sense to me than the "traditional" location, because the Ming Men ("Door of Life") is located just beneath the two kidneys, and exactly opposite the navel.

Thanks, dude! The reason why women often are more Yin than men: As I learned from Waysun Liao, Chi can act Yin or Yang according to it's behavior or energy flow. According to that, we could call it "Yin Chi" and "Yang Chi". Yin chi has a contracting movement, goes inward towards the center of your body and into the inner organs, nourishing and supporting you from the inside. For example, the chi in the bone marrow is very yin and supports the production of blood cells. Yang chi on the other hand has an outward, expanding movement. It goes toward the limbs and the skin and also to the sensing organs like eyes, ears, nose(skin is also a sensing organ!)and mouth to feed that parts of your body with energy and to safeguard you against influences from the ourside. BTW your limbs and organs a referred to enable you to deal with the outside world (Yang)! The main purpose in existence for women is to grow offspring INSIDE of them! That's a purely Yin process (the birth, the release of the offspring to the outer world is on the contrary a Yang act!), because you lead and amass nutrients and energy to the inner organ the womb. So during pregnancy the Yin energy flow in women is even more boosted. But also when not pregnant, a woman always has this tendency, her body is always ready to become pregnant, at least according to the energy flow (aside from the period, what is Yang). So that's the reason why women have normally more energy flowing toward the center than toward the periphery and that is the cause why women have a higher core temperature than man, more cold weak limbs without distinct muscles. In man, it's the other way around. Also: When you have more energy toward your periphery, as it is more often with men than with women, your disposal of chi to the outside is bigger. That's the reason why men die earlier (we are only talking statistics here, not individual cases!) than women: They burn out faster because they dispose their energy more to the outside...except when women produce much offspring! Ever noticed how a woman can blossom during pregnancy but suddenly seem "worn out" or "burned out" after she had given birth(or several births)to her offspring(after having released suddenly a high amount of her energy)? One could say a women lives always "on the back burner" so she has more energy to waste on healthy offspring! Concerning male sexuality and Yin: The ejaculation clearly is an act of Yang (and therefore a disposal/waste of your chi/life energy to the outside), but it's false to see male sexuality as a pure Yang business! Remember, giving birth and the period are parts of the female sexuality but extremely Yang processes. So the male sexuality must have it's Yin side too. Well, Yang can only dispose the energy that Yin has amassed, so I argue that everything BEFORE the ejaculation in male sexuality is Yin; namely spermproduction, prostate fluid production AND ERECTION are the Yin traits of the male sexuality. One could argue: Why erection? Doesn't the blood flows to the periphery of the body, to some kind of fifth limb? Yes, but firstly, erection is an act of your PARASYMPATHETIC nervous system, that controls your Yin processes in your body (I guess anybody here knows that). Ejaculation on the contrary is controlled by your SYMPATHETIC nervous system that controls all of the Yang processes in your body. I guess that should be proof enough! Also, the erection is the time span when mostly the amassing of nervous energy and ejaculate production/amassing occurs! That should now convince everybody. So, that means that a guy with a high amount of Yang may be more "potent" in terms of being able to ejaculate often or many times in a row. But a guy with a high amount of Yin may be more "potent" in terms of being able to have longer and harder erections (and producing more semen)! So I guess it's not bad to be a man with a high amount of Yin Chi after all! So, my dear ladies, after reading my remarks, would you prefer a guy with above average Yang energy...or one with above average Yin energy...?
-
I guess that you have not too much Yin, maybe your amount of Yin is quite normal. But I guess you have not enough Yang, a Yang deficit. I had a Yang deficit once too and I got rid of it through Yang-dominant nutrition (a good pot of coffee with milk and sugar in the morning with ham and eggs. For lunch always RED MEAT with cooked potatoes/fries and cooked (=Yang) vegetables. For supper: A McDonald's menue (again warm food with meat!) or bread with ham. Works great for me and will work great for everybody else to get more Yang! A vampire has very much Yin. That makes him powerful, gives him "magnetic" forces, magical insight and influence so to speak. So nobody would estimate a vampire being weak although being extremely Yin. On the contrary! It's an extremely powerful archetype! So no chance in hell that a person with very much Yin could be weak as a result! Yeah, you refuse to enforce your personality against others or outer circumstances! That deprives you of your Yang or inhibits your Yang! There is no Yang energy flow coming from you to the outside. I don't think you have too much Yin or the Yin of a female! You suppress your Yang, keep it deep inside buried in your Yin, that's all! Learn to groar! Yeah, maybe your main problem is more to "get physical" than to "get Yang". Maybe one leads to the other. So it's very good advice, do martial arts or weight lifting, that's as Yang as activities can get! Lifting weights worked wonders for me to get more Yang! Your muscles become denser and bigger, you become stronger and faster, you can defend yourself if you have to! So your self assurance will grow! BTW, you become more attractive and your body appears more manly. Heavy and explosive but short workouts cause peaks in testosterone production, that's scientific proven. BTW, enforcing your personality against others leads also to peak production of testosterone! So martial arts in the beginning might be bad because you are the worst in the club when you are new. But when you are experienced and win against others, it would be great for you!

The looks are important because extraordinary growth in bones that have many receptors for testosterone that lead to a big jawbone and narrow and deep eyes confirm high testesterone. But it's not only about looks. As I learned in psychology (and as my personal experience confirms), to behave dominant and according to the "dark triad" (=selfish(=narcissistic), controlling(=machiavellian) and threatening(=psychopathic)) turns women on even more...if all components fit together. A stressed psychotic may be threatening, but he's not cool and controlled in addition. See above. True, it's fucked up. But would suicide change that? I mean it's your decision but the bitches aren't worth it. Look, I am a guy who's jaw is 1.5 the normal size (according to my dentist after making an x-ray picture) but even my girlfriend lied and cheated on me with her superior in the army because I behaved to amicable to her, like a buddy. Suddenly her superior who treated her like shit was sexually more interesting. I considered seriously to k*ll both ( ) but reasonably turned the idea down. I not romantically minded. But I'd like to have a steady good friendship + sex with a woman I respect, but friendship turns every normal woman off sexually....also I don't know a woman I could respect. They are not like men, they (no offence ladies, I can only speak for the women I know so far!) don't have goals but nest-building (money) and babies and don't even know that! And the crazy ones (like my Ex) arent better, they are even worse and secretly admire the "real" women. So yeah, it's fucked up. So I prefer to invest time in my good friends and currently save my jing for my nei kung practice. Back to you, why do you even consider suicide? Because the world doesn't tick the way you want it to? Get over your frustrations! Somewhere out there is a unusual women who would like to be with you, assumed that you solve your personal issues and develop a healthy personality. I mean, one good woman would suffice, wouldn't she? So why do you bother about all the other ordinary women? Mind your own business, develop a healthy, steady and strong personality and become confident and satisfied with yourself! As I already said: Discover and develop the greatness in yourself (= a healthy ego) so you can become enthusiastic about yourself, then your surroundings will become meaningless. Let the bitches do their thing. Get some good friends and invest time and energy in your friendships. How old are you BTW?

Gentlemen , may I introduce to you the scientific facts: [/img] Uploaded with ImageShack.us Women ALWAYS prefer to get laid and knocked up by the high-testosterone dominant male (DOM)! He has the best genes to produce healthy offspring! Why? His childs will have a high assertiveness and also the best immune system. But the preferred father figure to raise these childs is the "nicer" more reliable long-term mate (LTM). So women are programmed to marry LTM...but to get knocked up by DOM. So women are biologically programmed to cheat on their partner...for the good of their offsping! When you are the average male (AVM) or even androgynous male (AND) with test-levels below the DOM or even LTM...well, bottom line is that then you won't be first choice for sex or relationship.

A winner is a winner by nature...or develops himself in a way that will make him win. It doesn't matter how many times you try. Trying often doesn't at all unavoidably lead to success! When you don't develop a winner's personality, it doesn't matter how often you try. Because then you will only lose again and again and again...forever! Become what a woman desires (see my last post for hints for Yin guys) and you win. Don't and you lose every time you try. Edit: BTW, "developing strategies" could be interpreted as "pretend". At some point you will have to prove and pretending will not get you beyond that point...because at that point you will lose again.

@Non: Dude, you miss the point! Your problem is not that you are "Yin" because "Yin" does not equal weak, oversensitive and lack of prevailing. A weak ego, a weak personality does equal these characteristics! I am also a "yin"-male, what means in my case that I am the strong, dark and silent guy (complete with sixpack, muscles, black leather jacket and three-day beard) who draws women magneticly to himself. I don't need to entertain them with blatant behavior, I don't need to behave loud to get their attention, what only means that I don't need to waste energy through extroverted behavior. So being "Yin" is actually an advantage in my book. But I have a strong "Ego", I see myself as the center of the universe, I like to show what I can, what I got and what I know. I'm convinced to have more insight in things than most people and women believe me that after discussing with me. And I don't lie; I like to prove my claims. And last but not least: I prevail and I am not afraid of ugly conflicts! To make things short: Women like self-centered guys with a healthy EGO, who find themselves great but can prove their claims. And having a muscular body doesn't hurt either. So your problem (like for many "spiritual" people) is: You should embrace and develop your personality/EGO, discover your fascination for yourself. Don't beat your ego down...or others will do the same. P.S.: I used once a foto of my nude upper body as avatar, so I guess I don't need to prove the looks I claimed to have.

Siddhis and Powers are essential for Enlightenment
Wells replied to bodyoflight's topic in General Discussion
Well, I don't need to search the threads. I'm nearly everyday watching this forum for years now (not always logged in). So I saw and see it happen for many times in real time. It's always funny how fast the replies accumulate and how long these threads stay permanently under the top three. The views skyrock even faster. So, people should think about that...what it tells them about themselves. Ah, I forgot to mention: And after several weeks, the interest ceases suddenly within several days or so, the mania is over until next time and the thread vanishes into oblivion. -

Wells replied to bodyoflight's topic in General Discussion
I concede to everything you say. I guess they all were told "siddhis are bad" and so they believe it forever. Not much free thinking for themselves. They simply can't think these things through because their minds are imprisoned. But: People here on this board should think sbout the fact that threads about SEX and JOHN CHANG (who is basicly a normal guy with superpowers and far from being "enlightened") get BY FAR the most views and replies (in the shortest time). I have often laughed about that. Nobody can deny that fact (well, surely many can and will do that anyways ). That shows in what you are really interested, no matter how resolute you deny it to yourself and others! Something doesn't disappear because you block it out...it just gains more secret power over you. So the fear of many guys to become corrupted when gaining power is well-grounded. But they will not become corrupted; they already are. They only suppress it. They would show their true faces then and nothing else. They would no more persuit "enlightenment" but become addicted to profane pleasures and egomania and lose themselves and their way forever! Yeah kids, you were right, it's really better to stay away from the matches, in fact you will definitely only burn yourselves. Don't play with fire when you are not able to handle it! -

Siddhis and Powers are essential for Enlightenment
Wells replied to bodyoflight's topic in General Discussion
1 + 1 = 2 Powers are inevitable on the energetic path. Are you really not able to dig that? He was an awakened being. Then he ran out of the juice he had built up for a long time with hard practice. For permanent "enlightenment" you have to keep getting juice from somewhere. That's obvious for me, but don't ask me how to keep a massive inflow of outside One-Chi in your system permanently, I don't know. But I guess the glowing heads of Jesus, Buddha and Co. show the FLOWING THROUGH AND OUT of the Chi off the Sahasradala/Upper Dantian. Maybe because the circumstances are obvious...? -

Wells replied to bodyoflight's topic in General Discussion
...as it is much more the case with even making the claim of having "siddhis". I don't see why elaborating this claim would make the difference. The claim in itself is the self-definition and comparison. Very strange, so you do exactly the contrary of what you are preaching without even noticing the obvious. So: Yes, your fears of being controlled by forces of your subconsciousness seem validated by this behaviour. I already explained why "masters" who claim to have powers and don't prove them don't have them and make these claims only to control others. You add another dimension to this circumstance: They maybe believe it themselves and don't want to be proven wrong so they can sustain their self-delusion. The belief of their followers even sustains their own belief and a strong subconscious need to feel special inhibits to become aware of the obvious: Their claim stands on feet of clay. In your case, when I analyze the behavior that you showed especially in your last two posts (assumed you did set a snare for me, as TheSongsofDistantEarth suggested so very insightful ), it seems your subconsciousness aims with your delusion more on yourself than on others...the purpose is also much more subtle: By claiming to have "siddhis" but then refusing to give more clues to others you not only avoid any risk that someone proves your belief wrong and redeems you from your illusion, but by even denying others to participate in your "specialty" in the slightest you can keep all your specialty to yourself! Because this is what sets you above others. I hope the fact that I asked further and so gave you the opportunity to deny me to "take part" in your "specialty" gave you at least the expected feeling of satisfaction and advantage. If not, this whole complex is so suppressed in your subconsciousness that the emotion couldn't reach your conscious Ego. To comment at your description of your way you believe to be going: As also your definition of the term "Ego" shows, you are seeking the process of what C. G. Jung calls "Individuation". I myself looked into this subject intensively a long time ago. I would call the goal of this process rather a psychological one than a spiritual because it centers only your own psyche but that's certainly only a matter of definition. As far as I can evaluate the insights I had in your personality...well, let's say I don't know if you have really a chance to succeed. It seems that you are really coccooned and trapped in many subtle strong strings by your subconscious. You suspect it but are not able to percieve it and so progress is not really possible. You think much about your way and about yourself but are not able of real insights that would enable you to pin the tail on it. I hope for you that you will fall in a catharsis that does for you what you are not able to, so you can start through. -

Siddhis and Powers are essential for Enlightenment
Wells replied to bodyoflight's topic in General Discussion
Yea, it is. First comes achieving freedom and immortality, after that: Eternal fun (at least, that's the plan). In my conviction, spiritual achievement is the product of investing enough energy and time in the right energy work. Powers are simply the side-effect of the right energy work (and therefore inevitable). Why? Because when you get control over your chi and augment, compact and flow it, you will be able to influence your body and also your environment with it. This is the cause of "powers". Of course, when you use your cultivated energy to apply as "powers", it's in fact a waste for you if you first and foremost want to use that energy to build yourself an immortal vehicle (illusory body). Reading Darin Hamel's enlightenment-experience as posted here in this forum (I think he now changed his name on this board to taichi...somewhat) confirmed my opinion that experiencing "one-ness" or "enlightenment" is not to archieve with intellectual or emotional work (like tying to understand how the universe works or becoming nicer) but is real perception of the energetic connections between all things (including yourself). Darin could actually SEE that energy and information flow between all things. enlightenment is nothing abstract, no conclusion and no result of intellectual reasoning. When you are not enlightened, you are like a dimmed down light bulb. When you are enlightened, you are like a bright burning light bulb. Your upper dantian/sahasradala chakra is powered to the max with chi (like the end result in the Kundalini process). I don't do that. I don't know. Who knows how much of the stuff he really told is still contained in these buddhist writings... -
I thought the same. It looks simply like the faster and stronger guy wins.

Funny that the first match begins with Tai Chi...and ends as a scuffle as you would expect to see in kindergarten. I guess they switched to the more effective technique at last... If the match would have lasted longer, maybe hair-pulling would have been the final solution!

Hm..you describe it as if you have a big suppressed ego, that would break out and take you over if you go astray for only one moment. Like a monster in the basement, lol. Or why exists this danger in you? I mean, if you had diminished your ego instead, how could there be such a danger of turning into a jerk or losing control? So you don't like being "you"?? Not when you are able to estimate yourself correctly. BTW, could you maybe describe what is "EGO" in your textbook?
