I took a good amount of time to rethink this post and realized although I hadn't learned anything knew by reading this it got me thinking of how more in depth I could explore this idea. So I did and I learned more. So i guess i was wrong. Although I did not learn anything new, it produced later events of me learning more new stuff which was VERY gratifying. Nope you never needed to promise me to make every post entertaining. I would have gained bad karma either way by being rude, the way i understand it. but thats more about the subtleties instead of the direct result, which in words I'm not sure i can clearly explain well anyways. Me being rude to you doesn't scare me btw. AND by the way its not boring and yes its true. Nope you misunderstand i don't want you to tackle karma with heavier guns, rather i want to understand it on a deeper level. I care not what level the ability i use to help myself as long as it helps myself. *Sigh* I still think TM you have way too many misunderstandings about me. While I'm, weather in a rube way or a nice way trying to understand my misconceptions about you. Apparently I'm not doing a good job of it. Not that I want to learn my opponent, most likely the way you think of it between us. But rather so i can help my rear get out of bad karma, or make a not so good relationship into a respectful one. Even though your more knowledgeable than me. Hows that for information? Thats not the intended reason of doing it. It might have some similar effect... I dislike it because it masks up my rudeness. But anyone smart would still understand that the fact remains its still on the post. So I do dislike it to some extent just as others with a decent mind can figure out that they should dislike the vibe from that same post. Your 100% correct. I shall stick to the point and not your personality. P.S. Well I'm sorry for being rude. Honestly, actually i felt bad after i post that post. I thought to myself i should change it. But i didn't. I knew bad things would come out of it. I found what you said very interesting btw. But as I'm one that doesn't trust many people, and I have no reason to, I personally wouldn't take offense if you didn't believe me, even if I were telling you the truth.

I'm sorry I'm not familiarize with the abbreviation of XSZ. I've heard of Wang Liping giving lectures and teaching Nei Dan, (a complete practice) and I'm sure other practices. I'm not sure about that one. The explanation of capacitor and conductor was an example of the function (in general) of separate practices. Have you practiced level 1 Kunlun? Have you completed level 1 Kunlun? Have you practice level 2 Kunlun?

AGREED! It happens to be a modern science proven fact. Seems to me you have the mind set of a M.D. just like my aunt. I like her she gives me all the opposite side to find out information on. I suggest you actually be opened minded and READ THE FULL ARTICAL... and not dismiss the knowledge you could potentially gain. I really don't mean to say this in a mean way, but to dismiss information presented to you is being narrow minded. To choose to be narrow minded decision if you were aware that you were making an narrow minded discussion is an act of stupidity. OH YEAH! PRAISE LOZEN FOR THE GREAT ARTICLE. WOOT! WOOT!

Help me understand more about the nature of Qi.
WhiteTiger replied to :::'s topic in General Discussion
Oh well... After reading other peoples posts i think i did a poor job at explaining some proper understandings of Qi. Qi means Energy... techniqually everything and anything has energy in it period. In modern science says that theres only potential energy and kinetic. I'm not sure if there is such thing as static energy but... the theory of Qi or energy is that everything has a certain amount of energy... thus thought as static. There are many different types of energy or Qi... which my last post touched upon. xuesheng I like what you said and agree on many different levels. Yet I feel there is a few things you touched upon that i yet have to realize through experience as you talk about. Its clear to me (not that it was in question before) that you are much more experienced than I. I had before looked up to you as i still do but now I find myself having more new found respect for you. I enjoy and look forward to hearing more posts from you in the future. -
BORING! I got what you said but BORING... as if my opinion mattered... You can explain Karma better than that with getting into more detail of how it works. Did not learn one thing you said. After reading that post no new doors opened. I would expect better than that TM. I already understand because... TM + Helping me = 0! Although... TM + Helping others = ∞ Very well said once again. Applaud P.S. exorcist_1699 I think you might have taken my comment the wrong way. All I was pointing out is you said what you had to say in a way that wasn't very helpful for other people to learn. Thats all... I'm not being sarcastic in any of my posts... I enjoyed the two posts you posted. They were well stated and true. Taking about the exact interests of mine but I have an inability to explain lots of what I've noticed and learned. While you seem to know what you know... hehe hope that isn't to taoist of a saying for you.

Very well said but only people that understand the specific reference your making will have some sort of understanding of what your saying. The only actual hints you give is Taoist truth of immortality and free of aging.

Help me understand more about the nature of Qi.
WhiteTiger replied to :::'s topic in General Discussion
I can't enlighten you but they say in caves or natural rocks where powerful practitioners teachers masters train in/on/around can give off the energy. Sorry I know its not gunna be a satisfactory answer but when you learn about this I would love to learn what you have learned. -
What Does Yin Energy Feel Like? How Do You Cultivate it?
WhiteTiger replied to mwight's topic in General Discussion
Agreed! It than comes down to understanding the proper catagories of Qi, than Yin Qi, and Yang Qi. than it turns into something more confusing... having to do with Wu Xing chart. Of course don't forget about the 8 trigrams and don't forget about the Hexagrams. -
Sounds some like sort Tibetan Buddhism, but definately Buddhism. I never heard or learned of such things through Taoist practices. Than again I am unfamiliar with the infamous types of Taoism. For example Mo Pi was something I've never heard till i joined these boards and they seemed like some crazy stuff if you believe in it. I've always learned never to doubt something. Than again thats only because it was a big deal if you said to a teacher or your teacher that you don't believe in that, at least when i would say it out loud. Often times to save face they would have to demonstrate it. Well and more than enough untrustworthy times was the person they demonstrated on me. So basically I will not doubt it unless proven it completely wrong. I don't ever fully believe it until proven fully correct.

"when the apprentice is ready, the guide appears?"
WhiteTiger replied to indra's topic in General Discussion
I remember when I was just learning about this stuff from two teachers. The biggest thing i realized was when i thought i understood something my understanding was far from correct. I would like to point out a few things and make it very clear. Navel Chakra and lower Dan-Tien might be in similar places but they are used for different purposes. They are not the same. The Dan Tien also known as in a few traditional practices is called an Elixir Field. Can be used for many different purposes. There are many other references to the Dan Tien being called other things. I'm sure there might even be books that refer to the Dan Tien being the Navel Chakra but this is wrong, or they are using it to explain where the positioning. If the person is mixing up the names thats ok as long as you proper understand what he means by it. For thats the reason we use labels. In Taoism if you use points on the body for the not intended uses, yes you can most definately hurt yourself. I believe there is a slightly different story about chakras, but I honestly would not be surprised if you can hurt yourself through the chakras. I just never really experienced it or was aware of it happening. I believe there is even a thread about it different purposes of the Dan Tien. The way I was taught was just to call it an Energy Field or Energy Center. (I'm only a mere student just happened to want to share my knowledge in a means of trying to help out) -
Price matters, your correct. Sure money matters as much placement as you put on it. It talks about how much effort you put into something. Which means its a choice. Basically if you are willing to work hard enough for something than you will be rewarded no matter how hard it is as long as you work hard enough for it.

trying to go to school for chinese medicine

Which one do you practice and why... what do you think its strengths are and what do you think its weaknesses are? How do you personally go about practicing acupuncture? -
Well said as usual. What i wrote i thought is important... it conveys the fact that in three facets where regeneration of the body happens. (Healing uses, Fighting uses, Spiritual uses). While i was attempting to educate people that read this post and Ron Goninan that has used qigong and broaden there understanding while Xuesheng explained it clearly answering all of Ron Goninan questions. I feel that Xuesheng did a much better job at answering exactly Ron Goninan questions and by giving you a better understanding how qigong is applied. This further points out to me that i work to much on the conceptual and the whole instead of having a good balance of intellectual and conceptual while dealing little with reality. HAHA i did it again. (i didn't mean to) In other words i'm not balancing out which parts of the brain I'm using and not exactly answering Ron Goninan questions (which is the reality or concrete) that was basically asked by Ron Goninan.

http://www.traditionaltao.com/index.html/h...ubsection/ID/15 Is the answer for what will be taught. Also try out looking at bellow website. This has lots of questions answered... although for me it brings up a lot more questions. http://www.traditionaltao.com/ I think for me i personally don't care how much things cost... if they are going to be the real deal and good experiences then I will do it. It is upon me to attempt to get the best help i can with what i have... thats the reality of the situation...

Yes it believes in Karma... No I don't claim to know exactly how it works nor can i teach it. Although i know some principles it follows... I would ask someone that would know *thinks of two people in his head that could answer, but purposely does not name there names* My own personal, pragmatic interpretation of Karma is such: the 'blocks' in your systems that prevent you from being a Buddha. I would never doubt something i don't know... thats what i've learned specially in martial arts. Don't understand a move... one example would be... DON'T SAY ANYTHING IN FRONT OF A CLASS ABOUT HOW YOU DON'T SEE HOW THERE IS MARTIAL ASPECTS IN THAT MOVE. It kinda goes along with anything else you don't know... otherwise its just ego arising or not knowing enough information. Which is your goal to search for. I personally know a Buddhist martial artist told me not to worry about such things. I personally believe his word. I believe its similar in Taoist practice, at least thats what we practiced when i was being educated in taoism from a practicing complete reality taoist (not a master). You work on where you are at and the idea is no matter were you are at all it takes is effort to fix the problems... the bigger the problem the more effort but thats just your situation, or the reality of your life. I think your right Taoism is not concerned in the way some Buddhism talks about it. (i'm not claiming to know for a fact) But that doesn't mean there isn't a reason for it. Very Buddhist way of thinking (At least to my understanding)

I just like to say a small story that happened to me two days ago from this current post, in hopes people can discern some sort of knowledge or wisdom. Currently I have blockages all over my badder meridian. I went to see a friend of my mothers and fathers whom has been doing Taiji for over 15 years. He is considered an assistant instructor to the place he practices taiji. I went to him and i asked him could he show me any practices to help out my badder meridian. I remember in the past he has always helped me out he had always transmitted energy he always seemed like a good person. Within the last year or so I had been trying to learn more information by asking him questions. He realized that I'm a very giving person. So I often over gave information that would shed light on situations so he would know how better to handle things. He within the last year or so realized that he could get this information without the expectation of first me requiring information to help me out. So when i came to him and asked for help with the badder meridian he had nothing to share about it. Thinking his old pattern of not give me information and I would continue to give him personal inside information. Our past relationship has been, me extremely guarded and he realized he would have to help me out with my issue to over come his. Just because the relationship has changed into well one that in my hopes would be more healthier by me not needing to put up my guard or be such a guarded person his integrity has gone down the tubes. I've been to his martial arts classes a few times and he has specifically showed me ways to strengthen more than three different meridians in class! He claims he can not help me at all with my badder meridian. Well i knew if that wasn't 100% a lie, then well basically he could easily find out from other people or help me out but he obviously choose not to. His reasoning was quite clearly, as he stated my teacher and I are martial artists we are fighters we do not do medical practices. Although what he said might be true but the point you miss is weather your a fighter or not (and with my experience his fighting abilities suck but thats besides the point) you still must seek to clear the blockages of all meridians on top of that you are conditioning your body consistantly. Always strengthening your meridians. PERIOD! weather the mindset is aimed at medical practices or martial practices you still need to regenerate your body. So, let me put it this way while it is still slightly different generating energy or doing things with your energy (witch roughly = qigong practice) no matter what the mind set spirituality or regeneration (which is healing, medical qigong or strengthening for fighting purposes, or strengthening with a proper mindset to keep what you gain for spiritually purposes) they all use qigong to help them. They all strengthen the organs and they all deal with attempts to unblock blocked meridians (which is what can keep you from strengthening your organs) Now I'm a mere beginner that doesn't claim to know very much compared to any teacher (not even talking about masters, just qualified instructors) pretty simply put, the only personal understanding between the different of uses for regeneration of organ strength and clearing meridian blockage is within the mindset and the effects go for slightly different goals. For example if your a fighter and you strengthen up an organ a certain amount and you go and fight it should be clear because your entering into a fight you might knock down the strength of the organ weather you win or loose. I hope this actually helped answer your question... Not to long later my family friend found tried to knock me my organ strength down, and he successfully did this. I don't know some part about me talking to him he felt threatened i guess its the change of relationship where he is not getting the better end of the deal anymore. The way I see it is honestly his integrity sucks and I'm just all together tired of people that have horrible integrity. I have yet to find a way to deal with people with poor integrity. To me its simple I don't want to be caught up in a duality because I want something that another person can offer but i definately don't want to be at risk of being in a duality for it.

Thank you very much for the information Franklin, and i appreciate it. I'm definately happy in the choice to choose to at least buy 9$ of 4 pages worth. As long as It talks about things I have no idea about it shall still help me out in my investigation in proper practices and proper education.

I assume you are you a qualified teacher of Xuanji school and that can form your own Xuanji matrix and can feel it? Am I correct in my assumption? Editing because i missed spelled Xuanji and I also worded the question in a way that i think could have been seen as disrespectful so, i reworded it

Please sent me a PM Li Jiong with where I should pay the 9$ and what medthod.

Haha another one of those Chia words... Sexual Health. I think the problem when you use the word is just most people in the general western public would naturally think of having sex regularely. We know thats not exactly what Chia is trying to say... Good Health without loosing longevity is basically no loss of semen or the least loss of semen possible and also preferably no use of your hormones getting aroused. I would say Celibacy would be the idealistically best to do without a girlfriend but Hey your not reaching for perfect yet are you? lol. When you have a girlfriend thats a whole other story i don't want to get into... In my opinion theres no such thing has having a happy relationship with a female... I mean not to hate on the females, but Me and Females well it just equates to me being attracted to ones that are extremely dysfunctional in a few different ways... i guess what i really mean is i just can't pick em... ROFL

Thank you very much for the information John. I'll also check out Sifu Fong Ha. (i'm sure if he is teaching he can be considered sifu) -
You know i reread what you wrote... and realized i misread what you wrote. I thought you claimed you don't think your teacher believes in Qi. Sorry for the misunderstanding. Yeah... you can call it anything you want Lu Zijian is very inspiring!
