Honestly TCM in the form of preparing food for every day eating, is a supplement for the problems you dealing with. IDK how to go about fixing your problems. But through TCM you will learn what your problem is and you go to people that know about this stuff they can definitely help you easily enough. It shouldn't be to hard to find out what problems you have. Depending on how bad your problems are internally but the better way to look at it is if you have a lot of problems internally, you can't really do much make it worse, food wise at least. the less problems you have the easier it is to find the main problem your suffering from. If you really desire i will post some stuff I have read in books about TCM if your interested. But i'm no expert nor a master, so honestly i will be looking at the book to make sure that i'm exactly not making any mistakes from what i'm saying when i'm typing it on this forum. (IMHO the book doesn't go into much detail about TCM and how it is fully incorporated into food) You just gotta send me a PM or say on this forum you would like the TCM information on how it pertains to food.

What if it takes you longer then that period of time for a specific stage? can it take longer? if not does anyone know the effects that happen to you?

Idk, if its microcosmic orbit. My understandings or belief was always it was starting the stage to Immortality. But i could be very easily incorrect about that. The fact that it gives you the ability to feel impenetrable is the reason why I thought its the way to immortality. I'm currently not practicing and need to get back into practice. On top of that I'm in the great search for a great teacher. I never fully got the white light to the height of 100%. and even one time in my life it changed from a bright white light all around, into a fading of color with blue rays on the side of the bright white light. Yes, yes, i know which is bad practice and i know exactly what had changed. Its something you imagine coming from the base of your spine. but i believe mine extended greatly beyond my whole body and felt higher then my head. But i never fully extended it. I wouldn't know what to do with it once i fully extended it. Mal you got a point with that. I raised it being in the "now" so basically it i filled the white light fully i would have realized that i now have something to do with it. So what i'm saying is i would, or should have had to do something with it. But i was just a nobody with someone transmitting something that never fully matured and never went anywhere. Mal, what about retention becomes pointless and/or frustrating?

So i'm just trying to learn here so I got a few questions. My understanding (which i'm claiming is quite limited) I was taught Kundalini is different then immortality. Even though novice experiences of immortality it seemed to me the more people talked about Kundalini the more it reminded me of Immortality. I don't know what you define as Ego, but my understanding is in immortality you need to dissolve your the ego also, but yet at the same time protect it and yourself from harm. The Obvious problem or reasons I can't actually say its the same thing or similar, is because i never practiced any Kundalini practices. So i think you are getting mixed up. You claim you cannot awaken the Kundalini without sex... this i don't know about and i don't claim to. Where your getting mixed up is. is the way your defining spontaneity. We can say there are two groups of people who each consider spontaneity meaning two different things. 1. is that spontaneity means something just happens because it just happens. There are no laws involved with it just happened randomly out of no where. 2. Is Spontaneity is when multipule things happen in order and all a sudden because it did this in the exact order (that happened to be the proper and correct order) something happens. For example, Awakening of Kundalini. Because you are not aware of how it happened you call it spontaneity, but in reality you were just on your way to discover it for yourself because you had done all the other steps in order. Yes it spontaneously happened but also as you said "a tree does not go from a seed to a tree" "spontaneously" it happens with time; as so is the Kundalini". It happened the way it naturally happened as it is supposed to happen. As Siddhartha supposedly made the Eighth Fold Path for others to follow he must have figured them out by the same way, as he did the same as he became enlightened. Gopi Krishna I do believe he discovered the awakening of Kundalini. He is documented in history. (Weather this is actually true or not idk. but my understanding it is is. If you, Mantis claim this isn't Awakening of Kundalini, please say so. so i can basically retract all my questioning and questions i had about the Kundalini.) I hope me saying the word "discovered" doesn't turn into a debate where he didn't discover it and then say whom the first person in history was to discover it is. It really doesn't matter whom first discovered it. It matters that you can find a teacher that teaches it. It shows hard that one person worked to rediscover it. Like Gopi Krishna it means he was deep down inside searching for it and had the right tools to find what he was looking for. Anyway, Gopi Krishna seems to be quit popular with the books on Kundalini matters. Ok, so quit clearly you have made your point people looking just to gain something as instantly without hard work bothers you. And things don't happen from nothing to something great. it takes time. You can't go from level 1 and spontaneously end up at level 20 without going through all the levels in between. I'm sure someone claiming to gain something instantly bothers many other people also. From my understanding of the Tao I thought it was different then nature but it co-exists with nature. Mind explaining?

Thats not very nice. I didn't mean to say that you should ejaculate. I'm in no way advocating the loss of Jing. But I also don't tell people how they should live there life. People should be free of decisions. There are many martial art places, and or practices where they have strict rules of this sort and look down upon you from deciding to do things differently. You know the belief of freedom. If you choose to not go the path of Celibacy. You can do this sort of light meditation and you will not have the painful feeling after you ejaculate. The only difference is that once you complete this type of meditation. I believe that you naturally harness the ability to be celibate without any feelings or urges to make you think or do otherwise. Kinda like transcending the issue. The problem is one would have to complete the it first... where as I ever did that .

If your not going the route of being celibate. You can try and learn a type of practice where you have a bright light coming from the bottom of your spine and you try to move it up higher. But not in one sitting, you do it very slowly, day after day getting it higher and a comfortable pace. I believe this practice should take away any discomfort you have if you decide to ejaculate. In fact does anyone know exactly what type of meditation this is called, Nei Gong or Qi Gong practice this is? I wish this stuff was still transmitted to me and I learned much more about this.

Sure they could be practicing Energy work and Internal Alchemy, but if i read correctly they destoried a plantation of poppies. Isn't this against the better judgement of a Taoist?

I am no teacher and I can not transmit some things I do practice or used to practice. So i will explain it as best as I can I'm not sure exactly what your talking about what "you say getting favorable experiences and other times getting darker experiences from your energy work, resonates with me" But personally I was talking about illusions. Even the pleasant experiences I have had with relationships with females is in the most idealistic way it is wrong because your lose Jing in any act of sexuality. You can even lose little bits without sexual acts. Even if your in relationship to help them out as they are to help you out. But there is nothing wrong with helping out each other. Its a great and positive thing just my take on it is not at the expense of your own Jing to keep the relationship going. You both would have to be Celibate. Which if i could have a relationship like that, well that would almost be a dream come true. But then again why are you in the marriage or relationship? Are you using your own time while you could be cultivating instead using energy to help out your relationship partner. Its all about Ying and Yang. Polar Opposites. Choices you have to make. I got a few things to say here. One is Ying and Yang. The theory signifies about polar opposites. So the belief is the universe was created when polar opposites happened came into play. Without opposites there could not be any change is as the theory goes. You can not take the good without taking the bad. I think i'm pretty text book correct to say this is a truth of the Tao. So basically to sum this all up. if you accept good, you must accept that bad could befall you. You can not welcome good into your house unless you can let go of the the good when bad comes knocking. I guess if your already in a relationship the best thing to do is just go along for the ride welcoming the good. When nothing is else is left. It is then time to let go of the good.

Hello all, nice to meet all you guys. I was actually searching for qualified teachers where I live. looking up a few different sects of Taoism. and desperately hoping to trying find a teacher qualified to teach me, and also try to be very open minded to all the things that seem strange to me (because a one or two of my own experiences I know would seem very strange to many of the, shall i say the oridinary populous) Well I don't know what more to say about my greeting everyone, I have a few years of Kung Fu under my belt, currently not practicing throughout the whole time I was practicing I was drawn to internal arts. I'm a complete beginner or novice. I know a few terms here and there. And yes i'm trying to stay humble. All i can say is the more i learn the more i realize how little i actually know. Hoping after i meet you all if i could get full access to the forums

Um, to be honest i'm not fully comfertable with everyone here yet. I was doing a Northern Shaolin Kung Fu for just three years. A system comprised of a few different martial arts. But only pieces of them. Basically watered down the more and more it got passed down. I am currently not practicing any martial arts. I'm trying to find a good teacher in the bay area CA. The less money they make me pay and the more knowledge they teach shows the value I have of there own abilities. It is a rare thing if a student wants to work hard and spend endless hours of dedicated practice. Teachers should find much value in this. Trust me I understand, and teachers if there abilities are high enough understand how valuable that is. I was transmitted at a young age, Tu'Na Breathing (In and out breathing, basically inflating deflating what feels like air going up and down - through the body) Heard of it DarinHamel?

Greeting all, and nice to meet you Djshorty. I have also noticed this happen to me more then a few times. some lead me into what i felt were good places (which they were pleasant) and others which ultimately lead me into bad places. Please let me remind you I know very little of Internal Alchemy and energy work. But if you ask me imho best not to manifest any desires to getting women. I'm 21 years old. I know how hard it is. But when I've been success i use my will, to reject the desire, hopfully try and practice emptiness to its full extent. (having a Taoist to transmit emptiness or help you along your path helps lots) Unfortunately i don't any help in that area
