  1. Sounds like a good idea.

  3. Title says it all Which do you prefer Fire or Water, both, a combination or even interchanging. Please explain. I would love to hear detailed explainations of why people choose what they choose. I may add my own knowledge on the subject and give agruments for both sides but I'm also looking to learn stuff. I'm really interested in learning something as well as sharing! Please feel free to post your thoughts .
  4. Humm... I wasn't trying to take a cut at you. From what I've heard you definitely sound like a good energy healer. But I haven't worked with you so I can't really know. It has a little to do with me seeing or feeling what you can do on an earthly level. Actually I thought I was giving you an extremely high compliment. Saying how your wisdom on the subject is sound. I can't speak on anything else is all I'm saying because I haven't taken a seminar with you. I haven't seen you do anything on an earthly level. I also said I didn't state any of this specifically for your benefit in profit. Although don't get me wrong if people wanna go to your seminars that's great. I might wanna try some day because of your good wisdom and what you know on the subject. It wasn't a cut at you at all. The difference between me able to be nice and being nice are two different things. Wisdom for the love of wisdom. Peace, wt This is just not fully correct. They are missing many details about Taoist Yoga, Taiji, and qigong. Although qigong is all dependent on what your learn. Prana and Taiji, and Taoist Yoga, qigong and other things that could be classified as Taoist practices all use the same energy. Peace, wt
  5. Kan and Li

I second that. Thanks for the contribution!
  6. This is very true I state this NOT specifically for the profit of Ya Mu (although he seems to knows a bunch more than me) Rather for the true wisdom it offers. Notice: I only validate the wisdom not the person whom said it. Wisdom for the sakes of wisdom. Peace, Love wt
  7. What do you think, Fire or Water?

    How unfortunate.
  8. Kudos! Well said. How hard it is to refine, not for all, but for many to get high quality practice while trying to perfect arts. Yep, thanks for the information. I don't live in Portland. I did remember you did have a good teacher. That definately stuck out in my mind. Forgot to say... Peace, wt
  9. Gauging a local 'master' ?

HAHAHA *Raises hand* I'm fake, I'm fake. Alright I had my fun for today, I guess I should stop fakking around.
  10. What do you think, Fire or Water?

I would have to definately agree with you here. Although it seems to be a very common misconception that the South School often requires the opposite sex to do duel cultivation which is far from the truth. A big misconception and an issue not addressing peoples desires or attachments, which can often times be the key target to Buddhism. Although please keep in mind so many teachings of Buddhism, so many types, so many intentions from the Monks and even teachers.
  11. Remind me whose your teacher again, if you don't mind. He learned from Master Kam Lam Chuen or he learned from Master Yu Yong Nian or both of them?
  12. What do you think, Fire or Water?

Its really funny you mention this. I was hoping to talk in terms of Yin and Yang, Elements or weather its 8 trigrams. Weather its done through macrocosms or microcosms or interestingly enough we could talk about it in the way of Fire method or water methods. Which the methods themselves are very interestingly enough a great discussion within themselves already! Thank you for the post Goldisheavy. Peace, wt
  13. how to calm chi down

Not entirely true. But because giving advice to someone that is not extra formiliar with such things. Sound advice indeed. You get my thumbs up. I guess on basic or general talk and depending whom you talk with I should take things with a grain of salt.
  14. Tried some. It is not extra great. But its alright milk. Thanks for the suggestion nice to have a change of pace from that unsweetened soy milk that does get a little old. I like the stuff although I know one shouldn't drink to much of the stuff.
  15. how to calm chi down

I strongly suggest going to a Iquan or Yi Chuan teacher or anyone teacher willing to teach you the intricacy of Zhan Zhuang, or simply called standing meditation or even standing post. There are actually many different names for roughtly the same thing. Although it may be a different way they teach it. The purpose is the same. If your more into spirituality go Ch'an Zazen seated meditation.
  16. Would you be willing to expand on what you consider a qualified teacher to help you out with those things? Would you be able to point me in the direction at least of knowledge. The second paragraph sounds great and something I'm honestly looking for. Although not at the expense of karmic dues.
  17. Cat I'm patiently awaiting your rebuttal, if that is you wish to give one. Please my stand on the issue is not to continue arguing my point and unwilling to budge. Its an improper way I view the world based on so many MANY bad experiences I've gone through. I may be a really annoying and tough cookie to crack. But that's simply because I'm not made to crack I'm made to open once I've dispelled my own ignorance. It is basically knowledge I lack that causes my dysfunction. I am sincerely curious to what helpful knowledge you may have. Although if its given in matters of compassion or the heart I question weather you have a special intention in mind. Otherwise I like stillness, peace the mind, mind uninterrupted. After all it is my road. But if I'm not actually able to reach there in as fast of a time as I wish to be any dispelling of my own ignorance would be greatly appreciated. Beyond words is the virtue you commit by doing such an act.
  18. Well, I'm not 100% how sincere that is. I have a nack for believing pretty much everyone will do a bad thing if they truly believe they can get away with it. Dishonesty seems to be the easiest, even if its bending the truth. People seem to do it when they feel desperate. Not a trait i like. Here could be a kind of basic but helpful lead on what I was saying check out the link below talking about Safety, Health, and Longevity. http://wudangquan.com/qigong/ Now I haven't actually bought this stuff. I know its legit through. I'm not sure how basic what they are teaching is but if you are willing to go the distance and willing to change your life for Internal Alchemy I'm sure this could easily become a strong venue given those and most likely other proper circumstances and you may be on your way to learning real deep in Internal Alchemy if your able to go the distance of course. People claim its not an easy task. The truth is sticking to the principles in such extremes aren't easy at all although once making that a good foundation of a pattern its really simple as long as you continue to do that pattern.
  19. "Bow" I give you respect especially as of the late wisdom you share for all to listen to freely. Sometimes I truly deep down inside wish I personally achieved the ability to dispel my own self ignorance. The amount of help I could freely give to people. Scotty when health and wellness is talked about it isn't simply talking about health and wellness. If you make yourself perfectly healthy what have you done alchemically? Please understand Scotty I'm not making these questions for myself but for your benefit. You don't have to answer these questions just spend effort investigating what I'm hinting at I'm sure you will figure it out.
  20. The mind often seeks others to gain help. It is also at the energetic expense of yourself with the trust that the energy will come back to you.
  21. I would appreciate it if answer the question.
  22. In my point of view lots of money just for a book. I've heard other people reviewing it on other posts on this forum claiming its very comprehensive and good read.
  23. Taiji books?

There are lots of good taiji books. If your looking for very deep and good advice, read the taiji classics and reread them after you've learned and practiced significent differences with your taiji. If your looking to enjoy the inspiration that a book can give you from the way they explain knowledgeable well there are many books to choose from. I strongly suggest if you want good references other than Taiji Classics, look at books on the style your learning.
  24. OMG! BRILLIENTLY SAID! Can you say it again? Do you actually to a deep level understand this... Honestly? If one has truly seen this to a high degree or experienced it to a high degree than honestly you can't say you understand these words. Talking to all viewers. I care not weather people like you goldisheavy or want to follow you. I care not about you. but I care that these words were shared not just to me but to all.
  25. I'm interested to know what Alchemical practices have you practiced or practice? Often the Alchemical practices that are openly taught are just for Health and Wellness. The degree to which you take those health benefits its totally a different story.
