What you have shown in your posts is a Tea Party mentality,...which encourages a Christocratic agenda for America, as already proven during the past two years through over 40,000 new, mostly Tea Party inspired, laws that intrude upon Americans. But of course, you don't want to hear that. Your Tea Party has no intention of fixing the Fed,...they merely want to Christianize it further. Actually, you don't seem to have a clue about the US monetary system,...other than Tea Party talking points. Try this for a progessive understanding: Second,...your view regarding the cancer of religion upon America is sad. Nearly all America's problems are related to the illegal government endorsements of the Christian meme by the deluded majority. Nothing is more immediate for the health and well being of America than ceasing of the Tax free-ride, despotism, morality, Christian Justice System, and tyranny enjoyed by the Christian majority. You want to build a beautiful vision for America males upon a canvas of decaying Christian dung,...it cannot be done. Talk about wasting your time,...that's all you're doing. The ONLY way to get America in Order, is to take America back from the Christians who have be underminding it since the 1950's. The McCarthy Era never ended,...it just got worse. You say you want honest politicians,...how is that going occur as long as those who get voted in put their faith-based agendas before their Oath to the Constitution? The facts of your posts not only show that you are dishonest in your views, but that you don't have a clue about the insideous problems facing America. Very few Americans have any sense of its Founding,...or the Founding Fathers. Their view of history is a revisionist one, that promotes the Judeo-Christian religion. You spew that I've made no specific mention of how to fix things,...which means you're fully in denial, and/or fully dishonest. If I wasn't forced, against my will, to pay taxes to subsidize the Christian meme,...things would be different. If I wasn't forced to be represented by those who put their faith-based agendas before their Oath to uphold the Constitution,....things would be different. If I wasn't forced to live under intrusive Tea Party laws that only fully serve white Judeo-Christian males,....things would be different. I want my America back from today's revisionist Judeo-Christian fascists. I think it's time to honor the Founding Father's and their contributions. It's time a statue of the Father of the American Revolution and person who coined the term United States of America be dedicated in Wash, DC. "Washington's sword would have been yielded in vain had it not been supported by the pen of Paine" James Monroe In the meantime, may the words of Thomas Jefferson hurry up in their fulfillment: "The day will come when the mystical generation of Jesus, by the Supreme Being as his father, in the womb of a virgin, will be classed with the fable of the generation of Minerva in the brain of Jupiter." -- Thomas Jefferson, Jefferson's Works, Vol. IV, p.365, Randolph's ed. "Mr. Lincoln was not a Christian." Mary Todd Lincoln "Religious factions will go on imposing their will on others unless the decent people connected to them recognize that religion has no place in public policy." Barry Goldwater

In nearly 40 years of inquiring into enlightenment subjects, I've yet to hear of a single people who realized enlightenment while meditating,...and people get really, really upset when I mention that. Even this past weekend a few women got very angry at me for mentioning that in a conversation along a trail. Doubt they'll ever hike with me again. People try to shield themselves from any suggestion that what they thought to be meaningful may just be be meaningless. For example,...here's a worthwhile listening for those not fearful of enlightenment: Wei Wu Wei said, "The practice of meditation is represented by the three monkeys, who cover their eyes, ears and mouths so as to avoid the phenomenal world. The practice of non-meditation is ceasing to be the see-er, hearer or speaker while eyes, ears and mouths are fulfilling their function in daily life." Lao Tzu purportedly said, "Do you think you can clear your mind by sitting constantly in silent meditation? This makes your mind narrow, not clear."- 15 replies

Sounds like the Tea Party agenda. Especially "Religion and Government are Intertwined"

Surely, much spirituality is fabracated by a spiritual ego. Much of the spirituality of Judaism is useless,...nearly all Christianity is, not only useless, but contributes to continual suffering. The Muslim faiths were a consequence of the barbaric reign of Justinian, which barred anyone outside specific Christian beliefs from civil service, and whose forced baptisms upon Arabs encouraged the way for the establishment of Islam. Christianity was spread through violence and now propagates its faith through the fortune raised from that violence. In the United States that is a serious felony, and their propagators are nothing less than accessory felons. Some spiritual traditions are helpful and useful,...for example: Bon http://bon-encyclopedia.wikispaces.com/file/view/TheFloweringLightTantra.pdf Taoism http://www.cheraglibrary.org/taoist/hua-hu-ching.htm Buddhism http://www.scribd.com/doc/17465265/A-Buddhist-Critique-of-Fundamentalist-Christianity Vajrayana http://keithdowman.net/mahamudra/tilopa.htm As in the link left above,...truth is infinitely simple,....beliefs are infinitely complex. As Jed McKenna correctly said, "One millionth of 1% false is completely false"- 15 replies

Music, art, and mangoes do not exist outside of the nature of things. LOL Heaven is a delusion of ego.

The mechanisms are certainly in place,...for example,...In May 2002, the 9th District Court said that the "The Pledge, as currently codified, is an impermissible government endorsement of religion because it sends a message to unbelievers that they are outsiders, not full members of the political community, and an accompanying message to adherents that they are insiders, favored members of the political community." Shortly after the 9th Court ruled the Pledge of Allegiance unconstitutional, the Senate, on the following day approved a resolution "expressing support for the unconstitutional Pledge of Allegiance." The resolution passed 99-0. Every US Senator was, according to the Constitution (the 14th Amendment), in affect an anti-American, and should have been fired. However, as the majority of Americans are also anti-American, this Country continues to endorse the God meme, in direct violation to the Constitution. Interestingly, America is one nation under a Constitution. Although the Constitution sets up a representative democracy, it specifically was amended with the Bill of Rights in 1791 to uphold individual and minority rights. On constitutional matters we do not have majority rule. The majority has no right to tyrannize the minority on matters such as race, gender, sex, or religion. And yet Americas Christian majority believe that they do have such a right. As such, for a politician who will actually put their Oath to Constitution before their faith-based agenda is not only rare, but non-existent. There are 0 (fully) Liberal Politicians in the US Federal Government today. V

As you asked,...the motive for "higher coherence" is to return to Source, to the Tao. However, that impulse is filtered through the ego and 6 senses, which can NEVER integrate with Source, because they are not of Source. This is very upsetting for ego, because ego believes it has some purpose. I often say, humanism see (divided)light as traveling 186k mps,...but from (Undivided)Light's point of view, it travels no distance in no time and thus has no need of speed. Neither Mass, Energy, nor Time can integrate with Unconditional Light. To return to Source, you must let go of Mass, Energy, and Time,...which means you must let go of ego and the 6 senses, which are born from Mass, Energy, and Time. There is no energy in the Tao. Energy is simply the movement to return to Source,...which will NEVER occur,...because Source contains no movement. V

The only person using the term purpose was "informer" in posts 55, 56, & 62,...but that is no surprise.
-
Very insightful. Would have been better if you left out the sentence: "Evolution has no place for "purpose."

This could be very interesting,...how about listing the posts in this thread that reveal the closeted creationism.

A Tathagata is merely that which is beyond Going and Coming,...that is the agenda of Spirit,...to lead you to the threshold of the Present, where Spirit cannot exist. Ego's journey is to return to Source,...which it can NEVER do,...the spiritual journey is profoundly abandoned when the 6 senses take the wheel of the illusory vehicle called the self. Upon realizing Undivided Light, there is no you, no other, no center of it all. The Center is the One, and the Boundary is Yin/Yang. There is no Center within Undivided Light, nor a boundary. There is no Wisdom Eye, or other constructed conditions. It is awesome that you had a premature, mysterious pass that gave birth to an unspeakable existence, with rays of sunyata shining forth. However, that is not Undivided Light. That is not the Tao. Lao Tzu correctly said, "The Tao gives birth to One. One gives birth to yin and yang. Yin and yang give birth to all things." Yet the Tao is not One or Yin/yang. To realize the Tao, there is a going beyond One and Yin/Yang. That going beyond is going beyond the 6 senses. As Lao Tzu said, "Recognize that eveything you see and think is a falsehood, an illusion, a veil over the truth." Yin/Yang does not integrate with the Tao,...nor the One. The One does not integrate with the Tao. Yin integrates Yang,...the integration of Yin with Yang is their dissolution. When Yin and Yang dissolve, like all positives dissolve when added to all negatives, the One simultaneously dissolves,...because there is no One without Yin/Yang, nor Yin/yang without One. Sounds as if you had a wonderful, conditional experience,...if you become attached to it, and attached to some meaning attributed to it,...a barrier is manifested that obscures Undivided Light. Undivided Light NEVER marries the divided light of duality. Lao Tzu said, "Dualistic thinking is a sickness. Dualistist thinking thinks it can merge with non-duality. There is no merging of conditions with the Unconditional. Just as there is no Mass, Energy or Time beyond the threshold of the so-called speed of light. All Mass, Energy or Time, and all that arises from Mass, Energy or Time, does not, and cannot, exist in the Tao. Lao Tzu said, "the Tao doesn't come and go." V

Of course you do,...the majority of folks believe that they can bring their conditions into the Unconditional, as if the Unconditional could remain Unconditional with their conditions. Talk about delusion!

It is very important that you understand the Formless NEVER merges with Form,...such a concept is an egoic delusion. Yes, Form is birthed from Formlessness, the Manifest from the Unmanifest,...but there is NEVER a unity between the two,....Conditions can NEVER enter or merge with the Unconditional. Merging the Form of Heaven with the Form of Earth is a different matter. Merging Yin/Yang with the One can occur,...although understanding the result would be denied by ego. The Tao is neither One or Many,...even though the Tao gave rise to the delusion of the One and Many. The conditions of neither the One nor Many can enter the Tao. The merging of Heaven and Earth is their dissolution. The image on a theaters screen cannot merge with the Light, Still in the projector,...however, the image can merge, so-to-say, with the film (celluloid),...which to Undivided Light, is as unreal as the image on the screen. In my opinion, a 'White Wolf Running On Air' is quite different than a White wolf. A white Wolf implies a wolf with white fur,...whereas a 'White Wolf Running On Air' suggests the possibility that the Wolfs whiteness may be more than just fur,...as Running on Air implies something ethereal.

Absolutely,...if you are interested in Heart-Mind, then semantics must be very explicit. I'm not speaking a anal-yzing, but developing and using a specific language that differentiates the head stuff from the Heart stuff. I most certainly can see the point that an evolved Taoist or Buddhist would likely not be either Left or Right,...just as the proper view of Liberal is neither Left or Right. Thanks for articulating that,...it was quite helpful. V
