g'day to you too. maybe if i, and you, aint feeling weird about it, can meet up for a little chat if you do decide to visit. i do aikido too, although i haven't been going lately... girlfriend came to visit from thailand and then just haven't got around to getting back into it. perhaps this week again, i hope... so you can also come visit our dojo. we do iwama style. i have just decided to forget the HT altogether, i think. i was considering buying chi kung fundamentals 1 & 2, but my whole aims have only ever been health, suppleness and sexual performance. things i believe the system can deliver, but probably not the best at it as it seems aimed at other things. decided i will look into du canes 5 animals frolic a bit more, as it seems as if the strength, suppleness, relaxation and health is the only aim of the practice.... dr lin for sexual performance... and some mindfulness meditation for general relaxation.... besides chia and winn kind of irritate me. they are both nice enough and i believe their intentions are genuine, but there is just that tiny little something in their personality that bugs me. i went to a retreat in thailand with chia... and he really was a terrible teacher. i couldn't (and other people there too) understand what he was talking about most of the time, and the majority of the time was him talking and us not even doing any of the practices at all... the retreat was entitled "wisdom chi kung and world link meditation" yet we didn't even learn either of those! (or anything else much actually) i didn't really get anything out of it, and my girlfriend hated it and hated that place. however ever since i picked up a second hand copy of "iron shirt chi kung I" i had been almost obsessed with learning the system, because of the 'hooks' in the stated outcomes of doing any of the practices... they all sounded almost too good to believe. i have never really diligently practiced any of it, other than 6 healing sounds and inner smile, because i am young and always ended up getting distracted by other things... i did try for a while to work with the microcosmic orbit, but i ended up with energy stuck in my chest which was incredibly painful and uncomfortable. overall though i find the whole system very confusing and not straight forward at all. i think i am going to be better off if i can just let go of the desire to learn it, to the benefit of myself and my girlfriend as she wants nothing to do with any of it. i hope i dont offend anyone here by my comments, and if i do i sincerely apologise. but i dont think the HT system leads to enlightenment, satori, or whatever you want to call it. immortality in the sense of increased awareness of your progress through the universe yes, but the ability to leave it, no. since that has never been my intention or goal anyway that never really bothered me in my desire to learn it.

i am almost getting to the point where i have to do this before i even buy or practice any. my problem is i read too much and never do. it seems that no matter which system you are looking at, it doesn't cover all that is neccessary and other people are constantly coming up with corrections, updates, etc. i dont know where to start, dont know where to go... and almost to the point where i might even forget about it before i bother. what to do?

i guess i didn't explain myself entirely clearly. im not talking from taoist point of view or a buddhist point of view.... rather my own, a conglomeration of ideas (including the both) in which i have picked out what i believe to be the truth in them, or an interpreation of it. i have long term buddhist parents, who have been buddhist longer than i have been alive. i have done a bit of buddhism, but it isn't really for me. noble goals and all, just i dont like the metaphor of all the deities and so forth, a little bit too close to worshipping sometimes... although i know it isn't. some flaws i have come up with in buddhism. 1. life is suffering... i dont believe so. i believe life is as we make it, but until we have an expanded awareness it most of the time is... so not really a big problem here. 2. i find a very big conflict in buddhism, that my father has never been able to make clear because whenever we debate about it, his answers always conflict each other at this point. here it goes.... so the universe is illusion or whatever, we dont really exist. so going with that thought... everyone, you, my parents, whatever... dont exist. at the highest level, nothing exists. so there are no other beings in the universe. so whats the point in trying to get all beings enlightened when they dont exist??? seems a little counter-productive here. to enlighten other beings you have to aknowledge they exist, but in doing so you are no longer enlightened, in the sense of being in a place where you realise everything is illusion. very confusing, we can go around and around in circles here but never get to the end of it. i believe that outside of the universe (which all beings existing within it co-created together) individuals do exist, at the higher levels we are all part of the same thing, the 'one' or whatever you want to call it.... but we are still individual to a degree. one higher than this is the nothingness, which created us all in order to have an experience. this universe is a result of beings operating at a higher level and getting together and saying "lets do make something...." they made the universe, then all other beings saw this and are like "that looks like fun, lets get on that ride!" we chose to enter the universe. as time passed the universe gets more and more solid and real. we forget that we just created it (getting very buddhist again isn't it?) and that we can choose to end our part in the game at any point, should we desire. get it? its kinda weird, but if you look deeply at all the schools of thought you can fit this view (funny metaphor with the game though) into any of them very nicely. the only conflict is with the seemingly buddhist belief that there is no individualisation whatsoever.... although perhaps this can be clarified as a misunderstanding somewhere, or not. anyways so we are here for experience... i believe. that does not mean get so wrapped up in it you forget everything else, or seek only sensual kinds of pleasures etc. it does not mean that because you seek to experience and enjoy that you put it ahead of helping others, that your decision of pleasure conflicts with the need to save a boy burning in a building. pleasure exists within helping others also. a true pleasure seeker (please i cant think of a better word than pleasure, but i dont mean the kind of superficial pleasure most would associate it with) understands this, and creativity, love, kindness and so forth are at the very forefront of his/her ideals and ways of expression. so lets see how far we can go with it.... in the right direction! some people may have grown tired with the game and ready to leave it/gain enlightenment... others may not have tired yet and still wish to experience more. it is up to the decision of each individual.... and eventually this universe will be ended, it is inevitable.... then a new one will be created, something different next time. what will it be like? who knows! it isn't in our current realm of experience... -

life IS a game, in my opinion. therefore spiritual practice can also be a game. if you dont enjoy it, whats the point really? we created ourselves out of the nothingness beyond this universe, because we saw a good game going on and thought we'd take part in it. it was essentially our own individual decision at the beginning to take part in this game. but somewhere along the lines we forgot all this (or were forced to forget, depending on what kind of view you want to take) and i see spiritual practices as once again building up this awareness of we are part of this game. when you know its just a game, you are much more free to make decisions regarding that game (where you are reborn, manipulating universal energy, so forth), you are also free to end the game and leave if you like too... should you grow tired of having experience. my opinion on the difference between buddhists and taoists is that buddhists want to end this game... for everyone. thats why they make the decision not to rest until every being is enlightened (left the game). essentially end the universe. taoists just want to get better at the game (in my opinion), therefore be much more responsible for their actions and progress through the game... be free to decide how they want the game to go. even though i suffer a bit in this current life, i realise its because my awareness of it being a game is only on a very superficial level, in other words im not really sure. nevertheless im not interested in ending this game just yet... i want to "see how far i can take it" but in the direction of love, joy, life, creation, pleasure and happiness. dont mean i dont want to get better at the game, reach master level. just some thoughts.... -
the land of the sheep shaggers is new zeleand. we root kangaroos here... they a lot more difficult and require a lot more skill to root than some docile sheep, with their bouncing an all...

man you such a whinger. i dont really know you or any of you.... but whats the big deal really? the fact that the person who put this site together, as a place for y'all to discuss things, decided to change things as he likes. generally thats the way things work, the owner of something changes it as he/she likes, with a website the owner of the website does as they like.... of course if you don't like it you just stop visiting. who pays the money to have this site registered? and who pays the money to have this site hosted? (no really, who does, i dont know). but unless it's you, then really there is no point whinging so much, you know you are trying to get a "im sorry, ill change it all back for you" kind of response or else you wouldn't have bothered with that "im off, please try and stop me" kind of post. but what are achieving by whinging so hard like that? is it beneficial to your taoist practices? are you speaking from an emotionally balanced place?

yerbamate to replace the stimulatory effects of caffeine in the morning, passionflower tea to calm at night and also to break the addiction (one of its properties is the breaking of addictions).

sunlight is most certainly important for us. i have been researching the necessity of at least getting it on your skin for at least a 20 minutes session 3 times or more a week (without getting burnt of course). i think the eyes are able to absorb so much energy (in the form of images) that why wouldn't they be able to absorb the suns energy? before ever reading about this i was doing a little sungazing from time to time, when the sun wasn't too high for just a minute or so. feels nice and refreshing actually. to add to the sungazing, when you are finished why not drop your pants and get some sun on your anus and genitals too? now that feels lovely, and you can definately feel it being absorbed there too.

hi, the main aims i would like to get out of taoist practices are great health/strength (increased flexibility, etc) and mastering my domain (control of sexual energy. ability to have sex whenever i want and for however long i like). enlightenment can wait for another time, i am too young and too ready to enjoy life to want to have this as my prime focus. i would like to ask how many of you have achieved these things through taoist practices. how many people have greatly increased in their health and strength through the practices and which practices helped achieved this? how many men out there have managed to master their domain? how long did it take? what practices did you use? do you still have to do them? etc. please be honest with your answers. thank you.

oh don't worry... i still want to do good and make the world a better place. im all about that, and one of those ways is through learning about how to increase in health and showing/inspiring others that they can do the same (but first i need to be inspired by others, which is why im asking you guys to show me some). thanks for your reply peter, but you didn't answer any of the questions. can you answer them for me?

good & bad KARMIC deeds! what's the difference?
neimad replied to sunshine's topic in General Discussion
while i wouldn't go as far as peter as saying karma is all bullshit... i definataly agree with him on the point of religion twisting this around to try to define everything as good or bad etc. what i think the idea of karma is, is the imprint on your soul/spirit body/thetan/mind/whatever you want to call the part that is you (not the energy body, not the physical body). if you undertake what could be considered a negative action, such as your example of cheating on an exam... and you know you are cheating, you know you are doing something 'wrong' then you leave an imprint on your soul, form a block, create karma. in this sense the generation of karma, especially 'bad karma' is related to the social morals of the particular time, however it is also a reflection of your own personal beliefs. however if you undertake similar actions without any kind of conception that it is wrong, then there will be no block or imprint, because you are not creating attention on that specific event, it is of no consequence to you. as for good karma... well i believe it works in kind of the same way, you do something for someone for example that makes you feel really good... you then cultivate a positive state of being within your body and this is reflected in your nature and in the way the nature of the universe responds to you. after all we are just the universe we create (although its one big tangled mess with all our creations overlapping... we still have the ability to exert influence on this reality though). we all have 'bad karma' built up from our previous lives (we are immortal souls), because to be free of bad karma is essentially releasing all ties to this physical universe. its kind of difficult to explain, and this is only my point of view... that i have created from looking at the buddhist, taoist and scientology points of view (the old scientology, before it was infiltrated and corrupted by the cia/brotherhood network). but i hope you can get it. -
you probably have entities attached to you.

im with you ron. i reckon pure, naturally grown organic weed even offers an amount of protection against the occult world order. it allows you to see right through their brainwashing bullshit on tv and leaves you open to experiences you may not be willing to accept sober. however it also conflicts with spiritual practices and the body treats it as a toxin so long term use is bound to be detrimental. however how hard is naturally grown organic weed to find???? they grow it with shitty chemicals and spray it with shitty chemicals. i don't know about over there, but here in sydney the police run the dope operation and any of their 'busts' are either for show or to get any competition out of the game. i've heard its the fbi in america. unadulatared weed is not addictive either... however this chemical crap that you can find on the streets certainly is. anyways what are you doing to bring them down? you been making tower busters to bust those haarp and mind control arrays of mobile phone towers you now see dotting the countryside? i aint makin em yet, but will be soon. wicked pictures by the way. read "the pied pipers of heaven" by L.Kin. according to this book, the macabres have already been defeated... xenu the head of the game for control has been removed, and the reason that the agenda still seems to be progressing is his underlings appear not to know he has gone, or they are too far under control to stop now. but we should be able to bring them down, its just a matter of raising our consciousness.... this is transition time, we can slow down the amount of death and destruction that occurrs if we act now. i believe human nature is that of love, not greed. we are just very unbalanced right now from all the constant gunk being fed to us... chemtrails, fluoride, aspartame, msg, pesticides, mobile phones, the list goes on and on and on. if we can raise the set levels in our community from fear -> promoting apathy (the very lowest emotional tone) to even just anger... we will get the action we need.

group mind? the power of thought? chi fields? wtf?
neimad replied to turbo's topic in General Discussion
interesting article. i am always sceptical of downright sceptics. for me, someone who disbelieves or is sceptical of everything is quite simply as bad as a gullible person who believes everything. they are just opposite sides of the same coin. there were other peaks in the curves when no big event was recorded, however that does not mean some kind of big event did not happen in some place. just because he does not know does not mean it is bad science, it just means something is happening that is unable to be explained... yet. as for the september 11th thingy, 4 hours before the attack noone knew about it.... what a load of bullshit. it is well clear, if you choose to look at the huge amounts of evidence, that the attack was orchestrated by the occult world order so other people did know something about it, who knows how many people actually knew. also we as humans are able to pick up through intuition when something is going to happen, even if we don't realise it. so it's still all possible. anyways yes it is pretty obvious that we can change and alter our reality to a degree, and isn't that the goal of spirituality... the step right before becoming one with the nothing again would be a state of pure creation where the being would be able to manifest anything he likes, able to meddle with the fabric of the universe. this is possible for every single one of us as we all came from the same source and collectively we created this universe. however as time in this universe passed, things have become so solid and 'real' and all our creations have become so mixed up that we can no longer tell who created what... thus independance to create as you wish was kind of destroyed. so turbo... this means that there are chemtrails occurring (whether you believe them or not) but their affect on you is able to be manipulated and should enough of us decide to stop them... they will be stopped. its pretty easy really, but its also so difficult. lets hope they dont end up selling this kind of machine to the CIA anyway! the last thing we need the occult world order to have in their hands is a future predicting machine, although it is altogether possible they already have one as they are already well capable of manipulating the weather (but so are we, thanks to the works of willhelm reich) and who knows what else? i wonder if they can see that their downfall is imminent? -
hi, what a tripped out and cool forum... im glad i found it. from the small amount of posts i have read (will read more) i seem to find many like minded individuals out there... whose interests involve cultivating love and positivity and hoping to bring down the occult world order. the cool thing is they both work together. anyways to business... i have only dabbled a little bit in taoist esoteric practices, mainly those of chia/yudelove and after a couple of months break from it (girlfriend visiting from overseas, holiday time... now the need for repair) i am seeking to once again establish a routine. i write just for a bit of general advice. there is such a multitude of different techniques that exist out there that i get easily overwhelmed and confused (my vatta/ether dosha) when i try to think which may be best and which ones i should try and practice. what books/dvd's would be best to get. being in sydney there doesn't seem to be much in the way of a place to go to learn unfortunately... well not the type of thing i want to learn anyway. thought i would start with regular practice of inner smile, healing sounds and working to complete the microcosmic orbit. sound good? peter falk speaks of some crazy sounding healing sounds practice... how do you get the animals involved??? also can i ask, with all the practices available and time spent practicing... how do you do anything else in a day??? setting a routine for practice is quite difficult for me (my dosha again) so i need to start gradually i guess. and lastly... is there anyone with experience of both chinese and indian systems who can explain the comparison of the five elements of ayurveda to the five elements of taoism. i get the idea that the air element of ayurveda would relate to metal of taoism and the ether would relate to wood?
