  1. Green For Life book review

don't worry about the price too much (what good is money if it isn't used for your own self-benift anyway?). it's good stuff and worth it. if your diet is very clean while taking it, you'll get a lot of cleansing happening.... however important is to keep your diet clean afterwards too. but a big point i need to make here is: it takes 7 years to regenerate the body. so no matter how hard you cleanse, how much good stuff you take.... be prepared to wait 7 years of being very strict and disciplined with a clean diet for the effects to truly take place!!! we can help it along with detoxes, fasts, etc... but i'm fully ready and aware that it wont be for another 5 or so years that i am truly going to recover from my years of refined wheat, processed meat and sugar diet i lived on for more than 8 years. and for that period (and the rest of my life, of course) i have to be ever vigilant, determined and disciplined. the daily diet is where the magic really happens, not in the occassional smatterings of intense detoxification processes. thats the way it is, there aint no magic pill or smoothie blend! (although oxy-powder comes pretty close... just wait freeform, it's a pretty amazing product and worth its price).
  2. i think the essence of trees are existing on a slightly different dimensional plane (remember that all dimensions are around us at all times, it's just frequency levels) so they are not really in the 5-sense realm as us... where they are i think it vibrates slower, time occurrs at a different rate (we must seem like awfully speedy characters to them.... think "lord of the rings" the second one, i think it was). this is probably part of the reason they appear to reside in a coherent form for a longer period of our concept of time. trees are not silent, but they are probably engaged in much more appropriate forms of communication with the environment than us with our frivolous language, more wu-wei i guess..... just some thoughts.
  3. eating karma

yep... a lot of clunking going on here nice, freeform.
  4. why talk?

freeform, i acknowledge your response but i don't necessarily agree. i also see the verbal grooming aspect of it as being true, but i'm not interested in eliminating communication between two beings... i'm interested in how to make that communication even more effective!! how can we communicate on an even deeper level and really get serious connection happening? and i felt drawn to post this topic not necessarily for grooming purposes, to have acknowledgment and connection (although they would be factors) more it is a learning experience for me. it's a chance for me to allow my stray thoughts to become coherent for the purposes of writing this.... i learnt so much just from writing it and have been reflecting on it all night while sleeping and all morning too. to do that i feel we need to strip away all garbage from useless conversation. to add to the 4 areas i identified, i find two more: 5) responsive communication. that is an individual with whom you are involved in a conversation with is in one of the 4 above modes, you are merely responding to what they are discussing. it's very easy to stray from this into one of the above 4 modes (cause we don't like listening much, talking is better... we are just waiting to jump into our own divulgence of one of the above 4). 6) teaching. to be at this level is to be a spiritually advanced being... this is when you are stating exactly what the people around you need to hear, communicating directly to their beingness. 5 & 6, i feel are higher forms of verbal communicationg. number 6 is probably beyond most, if not all, of us posting on this board... and we might think we are in 6 when actually we are in 4 (present internal)... although i'm sure we are all capable of drifting into 6 on the odd occassion, in those times we find a person pulling words from our mouths and we are not quite sure how they are taking it only that we are having a very deep communication with them. number 5 i think is the most useful to us spiritual seekers. it is the most wu-wei, the most harmonious form of communication. we allow others to be at whatever form of communication they need to be and we listen.... we truly listen, with more than our ears, with our entire sensory... and because we are not caught up in waiting for our turn to talk... we can easily be drawn into the present and we can gain an understanding of what it is to be that person with whom we are communicating, we can begin to communicate on other levels and we can also learn to be entirely appropriate to the situation, giving the appropriate response when necessary. this is harmony. so i am going to conduct an experiment for myself, i am going to strip away all unnecessary verbal communication. i am going to remain in the '5' spot of verbal communication unless it is appropriate for me to drift into one of the other areas, for the only appropriate uses i gave in my first post (eliciting laughter, planning a common goal, informing of something someone can't detect, involved in a truth-seeking dialogue). i'm going to concentrate on really listening, with more than my ears. i'm going to see what happens with this.... oh and p.s. i feel that writing and reading are entirely different from verbal communication, there is a whole different set of forms and appropriateness that i haven't dwelled upon as it's not what i am focused on at this point. this could be the naturally evolving progression of my "connection" THP, as i have pretty much eliminated negative speak and swear words from my verbality.
  5. Greetings from the Rain Forest

    hello owl. i am monkey.
  6. The Process Called "Death"

from the moment we are conceived, we begin dying. each moment to die a little. yet each moment to live. a delicate balance, that never ceases to exist.
  7. eating karma

you got it karen. again... karma is all our own mind (read here: brain... but for another topic) the attachment or preconceived idea we have about an action is what creates it's impact back on us, karma. that karma we take upon ourselves and then punish ourselves by creating a situation that reflects that lesson we want to learn... we continue to create the action until we understand the lesson and as such we have a cycle of karma. infinite love is the only truth. to have no lessons is to be love, is for every action to be entirely appropriate to the situation. total and utter harmony..... balance, that point where there is no more ying or yang, yada yada yada... that's freedom from karma. but karma is our teacher, because it shows us what we want to learn to get back to that love. for a nothern european there can be no negative karma from eating whale or seal... as that is appropriate to the situation and so on for all natural style diets. we live in a crazy conglomerate of eating habits, bombarded with information about what foods are best for us and the sheer availability of food from foreign areas is ridiculous. becoming appropriate to this situation is extremely delicate, and i think to do so is to find what we call 'good health'... the better the level of appropriatness, the better the level of health and wellbeing. so i guess in that respect food does have a karma, but not in the way we think it does.... it could be my extremely bad karma to eat wheat for example! i guess i found what i was looking for from this discussion, and i don't think i'm the only one.... thanks! hurting people would very rarely be an appropriate response to a situation, and as such i will have preconceived ideas about it... if it's a lesson i have to learn then i'll elicit the karma to learn that lesson. you see i'm not arguing that karma doesn't exist, i'm saying it's merely a construct of our own game plan.... and quite merely trickery of the brain(/mind). it doesn't detract from what anyone says about karma, but just gives us a context to see more clearly the way things really are, and thus strive for liberation. there are no good or bad acts, there is only an idea about them... or there is an appropriate response (harmony/tao/balance/enlightenment/flow-state/etc). we are either caught in our attachment, or we are in harmony. cool. *clunk* hahahahahahaha. i think i phrased that wrong. i think there were several distinct genetic variations of humans evolving (or created... haven't quite decided on that one yet) and had we of remained seperated by water for several hundred thousand more years.... for sure we wouldn't be able to interbreed. just like horses and zebras... we are interbreeding like crazy now, which means that all those variations are combining in weird ways to create whordes of freaks (all of us)!!! which is why it's so hard to damn well work out which kind of food is best for you!!!! haha.
  8. eating karma

i agree and also disagree. i think within our mish mash of genetics right now, there are a few seperate strains of human.... which if left alone without interbreeding for several hundred thousand more years, would be unable to cross breed anymore. i think some genetics does very well on high meat, no dairy, no grains. i think some does better with high concentrations of veggies and little meat. and i also think some does better with high concentrations of dairy. grains, however, i'm not too sure about.... on the one hand they provide extremely high levels of b-vitamins, and on the other they also seem to cause all kinds of problems. i actually think it might be the extreme genetic alterations and adulteration done to grains over the past thousand years or so that has caused most problems. but back to the karmic consequences.... it is all just part of the same life force, as i said it's just energy changing form... thats all. as far as i am concerned, karma is all in the mind...... believe you are doing something bad, and for sure you are! believe you aren, and for sure you aren't context.
  9. eating karma

very nice, hagar. grains are truly the biggest problem to afflict modern society.... whale is delicious! i have only had the fortune of trying it once, in thailand.... but it's good.
  10. eating karma

i've never been at the slaughtering of a cow, nor do i eat cow.... but one day in the future any meat i do eat will be killed by me, as will any vegetables i eat also. but in all honesty i do feel the energy from the cutting of vegetables and i know they are not devoid of consciousness like my buddhist parents claim. if you really wanted to be karmically pure there is only one answer and that is fruit, in particular as it falls off the tree naturally (or with a little shake hehe). this is a trees gift and has no growing energy within it. this is truly karmically pure food, if you consider that negative karma is caused by the stifling of growing life-force. not the seed (as that is potential life), not the sprout, not the vegetable.... only fruit. dunno, maybe i'll try it one day. as for now i am happy with the way i am eating (not that i'm saying you were critisising me).
  11. Linear Time

david icke in his book "infinite love is the only truth, everything else is illusion" presents a very interesting analogy for time as it really is (rather than how we observe it). he likens the whole time track to a dvd. we are the laser that is reading a particular groove on the dvd and the events unfolding happens as the laser scans the groove in the "play" mode, that is the forward and constant motion of the movie. however just because the laser is tuned to one particular groove on the dvd it does not mean the rest of the dvd ceases to exist, nor does it actually come before or after the particular point.... it's just where we are in relation to the rest of it. the whole track of time actually exists simultaneously, yet we are only tuned into this portion of it.... he goes into a lot more detail and it's a pretty remarkable book if you are ok with reading about reptilians controlling our planet (he goes into so much deeper stuff than that though).
  12. Prostate book...

if you get the amount just right you'll have 3-5 easy bowel movements in a day (soft but not too liquidy). take too much however and you'll have up to 12 liquid type movements in a day and a reasonable amount of gas (the toxins on the wall are being converted to liquids and gases by the oxygen), also if you take too much you'll wake up in the morning with some slight abdominal cramping. but it's not like diorreah, it's not uncontrollable... you can hold it (although there are a lot of toxins coming out so when you feel it move into the colon there will be small feelings of nausea... but they are very slight) but i wouldn't put myself in a situation where it wouldn't be possible to use a toilet for hours though. but it is good stuff. many things you take you just have to trust that it's having an effect and wait for a while to observe it.... with oxypowder you'll know it's having an effect. it really will clean your bowels up. looking forward to the prostate book!
  13. Anyone here trained in tm?

what makes him the authority on all that stuff when he pretty much admits at the beginning he isn't enlightened and is actually a long way from it?? just another person trying to ram their believes on people..... but thats the way it is, everyone has their opinion/belief (or if they have amassed enough experience - interpretation) on truth and we all try and shove it on everyone else. uggghh. i guess it's good though, because all the different opinions and interpretations you read could allow you help in forming and experiencing your own. perhaps?
  14. Green For Life book review

i got a couple of organic bananas at home... i had my lunch already tomorrow but tomorrow for lunch i think i'll blend up a couple with some spinach and some parsley.... and perhaps add a little raw buttermilk for the liquid to make it smoother? this idea of a diet resonates well with me.... but i don't think i could hold to it too well at the moment, so in the meantime i am just gonna concentrate on uptaking my level of greens. already today had some buk choy, chinese broccoli, dutch carrots (+the leaves) for brekkie, a stick of celery dipped in tahini for lunch, and in addition to some left over cous cous i had a bowl of salad and a huge handful of alfalfa sprouts (i think they are awesome additions to the diet... alfalfa contain just about every vitamin possible in them) and chopped parsley. greens rule. however as per the fruit, winter time in a temperate climate makes me not want to eat fruit. organges do no good for me, and i don't like uncooked apples or pears (too cold)..... however tropical climate, give me lots of papaya, mangoes, mangosteen, starfruit, lychees, pineapple, bananas... yeah! (+ coconuts, oh yeah!) so hanging out to go back to thailand and gorge myself on delicious fruit.
  15. Jedi Mind Tricks

anyone on this board like hip-hop/rap music? check out Jedi Mind Tricks, in particular the album "The psycho-social, biochemical and electromagnetic manipulation of human consciousness". depressing and dark beats, yet their lyrics are from another realm. in all honesty i don't think i have ever heard anything as intelligent and as knowledgable as these guys in the form of music, its quite incredible the stuff that flies out of their mouths. they touch upon so many different philosophical system, religions, spiritual beliefs, conspiracy theories.... it's actually pretty damn remarkable. THE VERBAL HOLOGRAM!!!
  16. Green For Life book review

bananas and spinach..... hmmm i think even my measly blender could handle that. shame that bananas are in short supply here due to the hurricane knocking out the banana growing territory. i can get a great source of spinach though. it sounds reasonable to me though..... but wintertime doesn't feel like fruit eating time to me. i have greens in my breakfast soup, with some root vegetables. what about the protein content? people always speak about needing a lot of protein.
  17. Tso Family Neigong...Iron Shirt...

yeah. you've covered it freeform.... i don't have to say anything more about how shaky reality really is. we have set boundaries for it, but they are easily crossed. as far as i am concerned reality has no definable boundaries other than the ones we impose upon it with our own will (largely a collective thing).... and even those boundaries can be broken. i've experienced weird stuff too.... i've seen ghosts and beings that were not from this dimension. i've heard the sound the planet makes. all stuff that science would deem is not part of reality.... so who decides then what is reality? that which is commonly experienced? so you are saying that true reality is only whats common to everyone? so anyone experiencing outside of that common scope is no longer experiencing reality? what are they experiencing then?? and how can reality be something that is inferred but not experienced? to me it's all baffling.... i could never even dream of trying to put a label on this bizarre thing we call existance. i don't know if i am real, in all honesty.... i don't know if you are either, or if anything is. i can come up with no boundaries, no set limits. infinite possibility, infinite potential. yet it's all nothing. it's fun to discuss this stuff.... but when you really get down to it, you go nowhere because as i said above truth is personal and can only be directly experience. whatever we discuss is no longer truth (or "the tao" to quote some famous dude).
  18. Tso Family Neigong...Iron Shirt...

all you are doing is giving me someone elses words. someone elses experience. it's not yours, it's just your BELIEF! thats my only point. anything you can say about reality is only a belief until you experience it or 'know' it for truth. big lists of scientists have said all kinds of things about a whole variety of topics and then all of a sudden someone comes along that somehow manages to prove all of them wrong and then they get all puffed up and indignant and angry and deny it for truth then eventually it has to be accepted because the the evidence is undeniable and then it gets a whole other big list of scientists backing it and then suprise suprise the same thing happens again.... and again.... and again. science is great for discovering things, its great for technology..... but try to describe truth with science and you very quickly fall apart. why? because truth can only ever be a personal experience. sure you experience atoms all the time, but until you read about (read here "begun to believe in") atoms you never knew they existed and as such they were not real to you. 'atoms' is just a label someone else gave to some stuff they observed. my opinion is that when you go down beyond atoms (the number of components within determining what element it is you are looking at) and you go down as far as you can.... you end up with the same stuff, you find out that everything in the known and observed universe is made up of this stuff. what is this stuff? this is the "life-force" this is the vibration of god. i.e. its all god, it can only be all god. this is my own experience, i haven't read it anywhere, i can't quote you anyone who spoke about it.... i'm interested in your experience, your own interpretation.... not some scientists. i couldn't care less who told you what, thats all just belief.... if they can tell me their results then it becomes worthy of something because its their experience. but holding up someone elses experience as your own truth becomes just belief and it will never ever lead to the answers we seek. (i had the same discussion with my mum this morning). anyways i don't know what i'm talking about anymore.... and as i said in another thread i'm just arguing for the fun of it hope what i said makes sense to someone somewhere, but please DON'T adopt it as your own belief. hahahahahahahaha.
  19. Prostate book...

depending on how gunked up you are (i.e. the more gunked up, the more pills you'll need to get it all moving). for me one bottle is enough for a full colon cleanse and an extra two months or so of taking it every other day. would also be enough for two cleanses and some spare for those moments when your diet might fall short and you need a little help. i really reccomend it. i had a bottle the year before last, and got some again this year.... i don't think you need it always. every year or so i would probably get a bottle. your skin begins to look younger while doing the cleanse too from all the oxygen. i'll post a review when i get some time. anyone checked out my vivo barefoot review? those shoes are awesome!
  20. Post some of your poetry?

a clock ticks. a plane flies overhead, when the roar subsides the clock still ticks. here i sit. in silence. a wind blows the chill right through my body. who feels the cold? ---------------------------------------------------------- the glue holding it together is my belief. the solvent my inquiry. i am scared. will reality fall apart?
  21. Cool Wudang Qigong on google video

ditto that. well i intend to go for certification next year in CST (yeah you can groan if you like haha - but i want to make money doing something i like!!) and if i am going to the US i might as well stay a little while. i don't know much about america, but from what i do know the bay area is one place i really would like to visit. so thanks for the offer! i'll be taking you up on it.... wont be for a while yet, but i'll let you know, count on it. i'm tall, so couches are usually out for me, but i have no problem sleeping on the floor in all honesty. i went through a phase of sleeping straight on the floor in my room for a while.... but it was a little too dusty cos i am lazy to vacuum often.... now my mattress is on the floor though.
  22. Guru rating service!

    much love, brother.
  23. Prostate book...

i have one but haven't gotten around to using it, only twice ages ago. had some butt issues before that are starting to clear up..... so yeah i'm interested in you discussing more the extent of its use. i was thinking about it yesterday actually and getting back into using it. and freeform... http://www.oxypowder.com/ first batch of this i got, cured my hemmarhoids and haven't had a problem with them since. i honestly can't rate the oxypowder high enough.... it's like a colon cleanse from the top down!
  24. Cool Wudang Qigong on google video

    cool bro.
