If you snip the quote you get a totally different meaning. I think so. I believe so. It can be changed, otherwise what is the point of "cultivation". You cultivate your own soul, your own life. There is also a destiny involved. There is a thin line between what is given and what can be done. Cultivation of Xing and Ming means exactly that, that you have an Earthly life and a Heaven destiny.

What you see is not Aura, although Aura should be golden not colourful like many people see it, this is for immortals not common mortal people. What you see is the spiritual light which is beyond aura. A complete clarvoyant should see all levels, but usually they see only the Astral energy, which is the colors of the 7 chackras. The 7 colors of the chakras come from the Astral world. This is what usually people see when they say they have opened the third eye. The Spiritual world is above that, and the energy is much more pure. The link with the Spiritual world is in the heart, and what you see is the Light in the Heart.

Yes but the elixir is the final substance after the whole alchemical process, and Dan is the prime substance which is not the chemical cinnabar which is poisonous, but Dan is a metaphorical idea about what happens inside the body. And by the way, if you read the Prakriti your Ayurvedic constitution book by Robert Svoboda, there you can find description of how in yogic tradition are prepared pills out of mercury (the real one, not the metaphoric one) for various treatments. But the preparation is very careful and takes a very long time.
-
These were your other lives from different timelines, and the light being is your Higher Self which appeared to you as your Guardian Angel. Which ultimately is yourself.
-
Nope. Dan means cinnabar. And Tian means field, like an agricultural field where you sow and reap. Both words have metaphorical meaning. the cinnabar is a red substance which is found in the earth, and by cooking into a metallurgical cauldron you obtain mercury. Then by cooking mercury in the next cauldron you obtain silver and finally the golden pill or the golden pearl. Each transformation is done in a different Dan Tian, because there are three Dan Tian-s in each you do a different transformation. The first transformation is done in the belly because cinnabar comes from earth, and the earth is the metaphor for stomach and guts. In the guts you naturally produce serotonin by eating tryptophan. If you heat the guts with your breathing the serotonin is "cooked". This is the first transformation which is collecting the cinnabar. Then you have to mix the cinnabar with the electromagnetic fluid of heart, which is like a fluid metal and by mixing with the serotonin you cook the mercury. You can do that only at the tzu hour because only at that hour the fluid of the heart is exiting and flowing through the channels like a dragon exits its cave and flies through clouds. By mixing with the electromagnetic fluid of the heart the serotonin becomes ionized and permeates the blood-brain barrier and enters the cerebrospinal fluid, and from there floods the pineal gland where is the third Dan Tian where is supposed to convert into melatonin and DMT and other hormones like G rowth hormones in the pituitary and many others. These hormones have immense healing power and they are the elixir of immortality. Melatonin is the most potent antioxidant in the body, together with GH rejuvenates all the tissues, and you look younger. Once you obtain the Golden pill or the Pill of Immortality you put it back in the Earth, you sow it and then at the next lunar cycle you reap more, because the substances multiply. This is obtaining the first level of immortality which is Earth immortal.

There is nothing to be fixed of, there is no such a thing like pushing some buttons or replacing some components and you are fixed. The problem is you energy, you just have to learn what is your energy and to live with it. The typology in terms of Ayurveda you are Vata type. Vata means excess of Air /Wind element. There is no Qigong that can cure Vata imbalances because Qigong by definition is creating Vata in the body. There is no "blockage" in your system because Vata types have already opened channels. I would recommand you to read the book Prakriti, your Ayurvedic constitution by Robert Svoboda to understand how Vata is balanced. Any pain without a cause si due to Vata. Also You may be a combination of elements with Fire or Water. Excess of fire is called Pitta, excess of water is called Kapha but Kapha has two elements, it means imbalance of Water or Earth. But only Earth balances the Air element. In Ayurveda grounding means eating heavy foods, with earth element in it, like meat and diary and cooking with ghee and sesame oil. There is more, but no-one can fix you, you have to do it yourself to find what is good what is not for you. Obviously Qigong or any "energetic" practices are bad for you, because by "energy" work in fact means only "blowing internal winds".

Totally the opposite. To sin means to miss the target. Which means you aim for a goal, but you make mistakes in the process, and you miss the intended result. When you sin you do several trial-errors until you get it right. This is why they say : "Errare umanum est, perseverare diabolicum".

Theosophists say the Summerland is a stretched idea about Devachan. I personally think that Summerland is more the top levels of astral world. To pass over in the next upper world is needed a second death as described in John's Apocalypse. This second death is merging with the monad (higher self). Taoists call this the Celestial Immortal level, when you are called by "Heaven's summoning" and will never return in lower levels. Anyway here is a good Brazilian movie about Summerland (use the English captions): http://youtu.be/Q6qjB2O6SUw

According to Max entering the light is the conscious mind entering the portal of your own heart, there resides a singularity, kind of like a black hole (see Nassim Haramein youtube videos). Through this portal you enter the other dimensions of universe. The astral world is 4D, in the higher dimension 5D resides your Higher Self, your immortal soul or spirit or whatever. The taoists call it Yuan Shen, or Original spirit. In theosophy the 4D is named kama loka or desire world, and 5D and above is called devachan. http://davidpratt.info/death.htm Reincarnation happen because the higher Self or the monad is craving life experiences, it is like an addiction to games, actually the whole universe or multiverse if you want to call it that way is a huge game, nothing more. We mostly play hunger games on this planet. There are some that play "save others souls" games, though there is nothing to be saved of.

Very good read, I liked the conclusion: http://davidpratt.info/ape1.htm#a0 Spoiler : evolution is a true fact, but ape evolved from man, not man from ape.

Kidney Yin Deficiency Signs: Deficiency Yin causing empty heat Hot palms and/or soles, malar flush, red cheek bones, night sweats, afternoon fever Constipation, dark urine, thirst Kidney Areas Soreness of knees and lumbar region Kidney and Brain (Kidney Yin fails to cool Kidney Yang) Tinnitus, poor memory, dizziness Sexual dysfunction such as premature ejaculation and nocturnal emission (especially with dreams) PE and nocturnal emission are related since they have same underlying cause, in Ayurveda is considered a Vata imbalance due to Ojas depletion (in chinese medicine is defined as above Yin deficiency). The vata imbalance is treated with pitta and kapha, depending on your particular energy. Here are some remedies: Another remedy is a general Ayurvedic recipe for restoring the ojas, it is the yogis traditional food, the same food Gautama Budha was given by the young lady on the river bank episode: Milk, ghee, spices (ginger-warming, cardamon-cooling, cinnamon-warming, turmeric-warming, fennel-cooling, etc. ) heated and honey. Just make sure you don't heat the honey cause it becomes poisonous. The rule is if you want this potion to be more pitta (yang) add honey to ghee ratio 2:1 and use warming spices. A more kapha energy (yin) potion the honey to ghee ratio is reversed 1:2 and use cooling spices. Should avoid use 1:1 ratio.

The difference between Chi Kung and Nei Kung
Andrei replied to Encephalon's topic in General Discussion
Me too I am a fan of kunlun system, which is also a "one book has all you need" kind of system. That is my second best choice. The most useful i found in this book is the 5 elements of maoshan exercises which basically are zhan zhuang exercises with different hand postures, the similar postures that you can find in the STand still, be fit series on youtube. Which is what I practiced the most. -

It is the oral teachings that you don't find in any other book, actually they are notes from Wang Liping seminars, but organized as a book. It is packed with exercises, but unless other books or other teachers or systems when you have to buy several books to have access to the whole system, in this book you have them all what you need. It is ridiculously simple, but I guess people prefer to complicate things. I prefer to keep it simple, and I like when I have everything I need in one single book. -
