  1. My analysis of the five elements would be like this: you have a natural tendency to heat up the heart and spleen (too Yang) and to cool down the liver, kidneys and lungs (too Yin). Maybe you have a tendency to accumulate fat (I'm pretty sure a higher energy of the spleen create a fat body constitution) maybe I am wrong, you can confirm or not... Now you are young and I suppose you are healthy but in time the energetic imbalance of organs would become greater and greater until at some point you will have a cronic illness. This imbalance can be corrected by diet (taoist), by fengshui (the setting of your home and workplace) and by qigong practice. Also the energy of the years can bring you luck (the years of Wood, Water or Metal), or the weather elements (Wind, Cold, Dryness) and seasons (Spring, Winter and Autumn) can bring you balance. The small elements are the ones you are missing to achieve balance and what you need wich are the "lucky elements" for you. The balance is not static and is ever changing so you need to keep allways an eye on changing, the favorable and not favorable situations/elements. Maybe Taomeow can say more about this.

    ZtLipqVligY I have a zapper connected to two copper plates and I practice zhan zhuang on the plates. I feel the zapper charges the meridians with Yin Qi (electricity) but I think the best Yin Qi quality is when practicing directly on the ground outside in nature. I am using the zapper because outside is too cold, and I am practicing inside and the Yin Qi of the earth is insulated by the walls and floor.

    I totally agree with that, also confirmed by my experience with zhan zhuang. I trained for 2 months to reach the limit of 1 hour but previously I trained for one year one hour a day in hun yuan qigong just to allow my body to adapt to one hour immobility and my mind to be focused on the exercise. I trained for one hour a day to prepare myself for a sanshou competition, then after the competition I kept the stake at 30-45 min a day which I found enough for keeping me fit energetically. Never forget that the purpose of the exercise is to nourish the meridians and kidney with Yin energy from the earth. Also it generates the Yang energy in the Yang meridians and balances the two, so allways I would advocate to finish the exercise feeling good and balanced and fresh and powerful. Less is more. Good rule 70% of the 100% limit when feeling pain or discomfort. The exercise is not for torturing the mind but to allow the body produce neurotransmitters and "feeling good" hormones like serotonin.     Yes, exactly, you're right. The balance is a dynamic equilibrium, it is ever changing, is never static, it is like running a four-stroke engine, you need a recharging, a compression, an explosion, a relaxation and again recharging phase. If you can run the engine acording to the environment then yes you have health and longevity, but when the environment change you need to change the vehicle, the principle is the same but sometimes you need propellers, sometime you need wings or sails, or jets. GIH have a good point here, the body is just a vehicle that carry "you" in this life as we define it between "birth" and "death" and the longevity gives the measure of timespan between the events of "birth" and "death". I tend to prefer the idea of being a traveller that changes the vehicles according to the needs of the travel and also changes the strategy of the travel. Because I dont believe "death" is the end of the travel.
