The bronze position? Has that something feline about it? Never heard of it ... However I understand the dog position is most popular in the U.S. you know the man sits up and begs whilst his partner rolls over and plays dead.

Best to all Moms! I'm working at becoming unknown. It comes naturally to me.

Learning about cultivations of human relationships between God & Women

The work that Marblehead and other volunteers here on tdb's is often taken for granted, and rarely appreciated! Thanks Marblehead and all volunteer staff! Surprisingly the procedures in place here work well and the longevity and breadth of this forum are proof. As Marblehead stated we are all free to start our own site, or to abide by the rules here. -
Ashes to ashes dust to dust.

A bit late but Welcome none the less!

Water is capable of great transformation and adaptability. Starting as a fluid add heat and it becomes a gas, remove heat (chill) and it becomes a solid.

Welcome! And I too wish you luck in your pursuits.

I consider myself an earthling. I once dated a Unitarian Universalist but sadly found her to "spacy". And I'm trying to slow down so no more human race for me!

Yes. "One day I shall be released" And it remains my fervent hope that's true for all.

"Wait... What?!? Its normal for spiritually inclined people to call each other names?" Yes! Beloved Brother Brian I have been known on occasion to shout out to my fellow travelers, truth seekers or searchers.

Some of the things I'm most grateful for : Unanswered prayers. Things my momma done told me. The things my mom didn't tell me. I'm not saying don't try to live in the moment, but reserve some energy considering the future. For example is that fire approaching? Yeah its warm and neat to watch... But I might want to flee or call for help if it threatens my home. Or the rain nice to sleep in... but is my area prone to flooding? Farming allowed us to settle down but it does require planning... The hunter gather life would soon thin the herd... I like people. If freedom is just another word for (a pretty lonely and or advanced existence if everthing I hold dear is lost and I have)nothing left to lose. Your definition of enslavement is much different than mine.

I have mostly pest butterfly's this time of the year. The caterpillars are called cabbage loopers and are a major pest in the U.S. Introduced to Canada from Europe they quickly spread thru out the U.S. Pieris rapae are really fascinating (as all nature is!) but pests and their predators in particular to me! Watching the blue birds swing or hunt (using a baseball metaphor) I am making a wag when I suggest they are only successful 1 out of 10 swings. And the bats ballet at dusk. Oh my!

Moving slow has its own rewards. Before exiting a barn I try to peruse the views to the North, West and South. If I remember I'm usually rewarded. We grow pole beans on concrete reinforcing mesh which is five feet tall and enjoyed by all manner of birds. Today perched on the top of a row of the mesh was a Red Shouldered Hawk, and less than three feet away was an American Goldfinch. The openings in the mesh are 5 inches by 5 inches and smaller birds often fly thru the holes avoiding larger birds. After a few moments I tired of the view and opened the door causing the hawk to take off and soar 50 or so feet to a line of tree's. Doing so the hawk alerted or spooked three deer (not dears) who fled to the edge of the woods. Later cultivating some ground I attracted some swallows with the tractor. And their activity feeding on insects (Yeah!) flushed by the tractor attracted a Baltimore Oriole, another bug eater (Hurray!).

Welcome! Patience is something I struggle with from time to time. Lack of it reduces or negates my contentment. Practice makes it easier!

I never put a value on my baggage but I do like the old American Tourister I inherited. Its useful from time to time.
